Sailor Moon DBZ: Epilogue - Reunions
Serena sat up and yawned while stretching her arms from another good
night's rest. It has been 3 days since the battle with the Saiyans.
Shortly after she, the Scouts, her family, and the Dragon Ball gang got out
of the VentureStar, Serena informed her parents that she had to return to
Master Roshi's island to pack her stuff and tie up all her lose ends. At
first they were upset at this, but the accepted it when Serena said she
should be back in just a couple days. Last night, Serena called her parents
and told them she should be home in time for lunch the next day. As for
Jedite. He got a lead as to where the other royal guard of Prince Darien
are and went to the United States to track them down. He told the Scouts
he'd be in touch as soon as he found any of them. Ray looked like she
didn't trust Jedite, but Sailor Moon saw that Ray had fallen for Jedite,
hard, but was smart enough not to mention it. "She would have denied it
anyway," Serena thought.
Now it was the morning Serena would go home. She had all her stuff
packed and stashed into her subspace pocket, Serena frowned and thought,
"(Luna would be a bit furious about my using it this way, but how else was I
suppose to get my stuff home?)" She got out of bed and changed into her
favorite orange shirt and black pants she had worn ever since she met Goku,
and went into the dining room for breakfast.
Goku looked up from the kitchen, "Ready to go home today Serena?"
Serena smiled tiredly at him, not fully awake yet, "Ya, I'm just
going to have some breakfast and then be on my way." Serena sat down and
ate her fried eggs, and sausage. Over the year she has stayed on Roshi's
island, Serena managed to improve 'most' of her bad habits, luckily her
eating habits turned out to be one of these improvements. Once she was
done, and drank some orange juice, she went outside expecting a hover car,
driven by Bulma, ready to go to Tokyo, but none was there. She turned and
looked at Goku, "Have any idea how I'm suppose to get home?" Goku smiled
and brought out what was behind his back, and Serena gasped in surprise, "Is
that what I think it is?"
Goku walked up to Serena and handed her what looked like a surf
board with a small jet engine, the size of a mini fan, mounted on the back
of it, "Yep. Bulma finally finished the Galaxy Glider for you last night
and dropped it off before you woke up."
Serena didn't waste any time. As soon as Goku gave it to her, she
let it drop and it stopped and floated about a foot above the ground.
Serena looked at all her friends, and gave them all a hug, "Thanks guys, for
taking care of me for this past year. Now it is time for me to return to my
rightful home." Serena stepped onto the Galaxy Glider, and as everyone
waved good-bye, she lifted off into the air and sped toward Tokyo at break
neck speed. In Serena's mind, she remembered what Bulma told her about the
Galaxy Glider, "(Remember Serena, the Overdrive system is to be used for
emergencies only)." Just then her communicator to the Scouts went off.
Serena answered it, "What's up guys?"
Ray was sounding insistent, "Serena, PLEASE tell me your in Tokyo
now."
Serena frowned, "No, I just left Master Roshi's island. You know
it's 30 miles from even Tokyo beach. Why, what's wrong?"
"Serena, we have a nega monster attacking the park. We need you
here, NOW!!!," Ray stated with urgency in her voice.
"I'll be there as soon as I can. Serena out," She cut the channel
and started, "Sorry Bulma. I have to use it. FORWARD PROPULSION
OVERDRIVE." The Engine on the glider's back began to rev up to faster
rpms. Soon an afterburn could be seen from the little engine as Serena
accelerated to mach 1.
At Tokyo park, the Sailor Scouts were fighting a monster that looked
like a human sized armadillo. It rolled up into a ball a went after the
Sailor Scouts. Sailor Jupiter attacked, "JUPITER THUNDER DRAGON." Her
electric dragon took form and went at the nega monster. It hit with a
satisfied explosion, "Take that pal!!" But it got back up. The same thing
happened with all the other Scouts' attacks. "Where the heck is Serena?"
"I'm right here Jupiter," Everyone turned to see Serena coming in
on a flying surf board. She jumped up before putting the Galaxy glider into
her sub space pocket, and landed on the ground with ease, "You mess with my
friends, you mess with me. Prepare to be dusted nega trash." She went into
a fighting stance and powered up. A humming noise was heard before,
"KAIO-KEN ATTACK," after she was surrounded by energy she shouted, "KAAAA
MAAAAHAAAAMAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAA." An energy blast went out and dusted the
armadillo monster. As it was dusted, a jewel fell into the dust with a
black upside down moon mark on it, before it faded out of existence.
Ray walked up to Serena, "How did you get here so fast and what was
that thing you were on?"
Serena smiled, "That was a gift from Bulma just before I left, which
is capable of traveling real fast in the event of an emergency. I'd love to
continue this chat, but my parents and my brother are expecting me back
home. GALAXY GLIDER." The Board came out of sub space and landed at
Serena's feet. she got on and took off for the Tsukino home.
Serena got home just and her father was finishing the last of the
hot dogs on the BBQ in the back yard, "Look out below." The Tsukinos looked
up as Serena descended to the ground and got off the glider before returning
it to her sub space pocket. No sooner did she do this, then the family gave
Serena a group bear hug. She got her family to calm down before she went to
her room to take her luggage and unpack it.
When she walked in she saw Luna, and when Serena took out her
suitcases, all three of them, Luna stated, as predicted, "Serena, your sub
space pocket was for Sailor business only."
Serena sighed, "Luna, normally I'd agree with you, but I did not
want to hold three suitcases for 35 miles, at an altitude of 100 feet."
After Serena finished unpacking, she went into the backyard to join her
family for lunch. During lunch, and most of the rest of the day, Serena got
caught up on how everything was going with her family. After dinner, Serena
decided to go to bed early.
Just as Serena started up the stairs, her mother caught up with her,
"Serena, I've reenrolled you back into Jubean Junior High. You start
tomorrow, so make sure your school bag is ready."
Ellen Tsukino was expecting an explosion from her daughter, but
never got one. Instead she got, "OK, Mom. Good night," and raced up to her
room. she got her old school uniform out and got all her school supplies
into her bag before she went to bed.
The next morning, Luna heard the alarm buzzing followed by a,
"WAAAAAAAA!!!! I'm SOOOOO LATE!!!! LUNA, WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE UP?" Like I
said, Serena improved in 'most' of her bad habits. Unfortunately, her
tardiness to school was NOT one of them. She got up, took a shower, got
into uniform, grabbed her school bag, lunch and a toast, before she was out
the door in 10 minutes.
Ellen smiled as her daughter as she left, "It's good to know that
some things will never change."
Luna jumped onto the counter, rubbing her head with her paw, "Can't
argue with you there Ellen."
Mrs. Tsukino looked at Luna, "What happened to you, Luna?"
Luna smiled, "Hurricane Serena happened to me, that's what."
Ellen caught on fast, "You mean you still sleep as Serena's bed when
you know what will likely happen? being thrown into a wall every morning is
not for me, Luna." Both of them went into a fit of laughs.
At school, the last bell rang for class to start. Molly looked back
at the desk that Serena use to occupy a year ago. She still expected Serena
to come barreling into the class room giving Ms Haruna her latest lame
excuse for being late, and getting detention 9 times of 10." Molly turned
to face the class as Ms. H started the lecture for English. Not three
seconds into it, someone crashed into the janitor supplies in the back of
the room. The Class, and Ms. Haruna looked at who fell, but couldn't see
the person's face, since the mopping bucket was on her head. Mrs. Harune
spoke up, "You must be the new student. Your late. The office didn't give
me your name, so can you tell me miss who you are?"
The figure raised the bucket to look at Ms. Haruna, "Uhhh, sorry
about the mess Ms. H......" but that was all she got before she heard 27
'THUNKS' caused by all the students, Molly included, and Ms. Haruna as they
fainted. Only Amy and Lita were awake, and unaffected by Serena's presence.
Serena got up, dusted herself off, and took her seat. After everyone
recovered and resumed their seat, Serena just couldn't hold back her
laughter, "You look like you just saw a ghost. Now can we get started on
the lecture Ms. H." Serena already had a pencil and paper in hand, ready to
take notes, before the teacher started.
Right after the Bell rang, Serena bolted to just outside the
classroom, waiting for Molly to come out. When she did, Serena sneaked up
on her and covered both of Molly's eyes, "Guess who!!"
Molly got scared before she turned around and saw Serena, and
embraced her in a hug, which Serena returned, whole heatedly, Serena!!!!
Where the heck have you been for the past year?"
Serena smiled before answering, "Out of town with Amnesia. I only
got my memory back three days ago, and got back into Tokyo lunch time
yesterday." The two went somewhere quiet to get caught up with each other.
Molly was enjoying her time with Serena but something was nagging
inside Molly's head, "Serena, aren't you going to eat lunch with your other
friends? You usually do."
Serena smiled, "Tomorrow. Today, it's just you and me." Molly
dropped the subject and went on to something else.
Then Serena asked, "So how are you and Melvin doing these days,"
Molly blushed, "Ahhhhh, still going out.?!?!" Molly turned as red as an
apple.
Just then Melvin popped up out of no where, "Serena!!! I heard in
my science class you were back but I thought it was someone's idea of a
joke. Where have you been?!?!" Molly and Serena sighed, both thinking,
(This is going to be a looooonnnnngg lunch).
Later that day, at the arcade, Andrew was rearranging some of the
latest games, including a Sailor V game, "That would get Serena here,"
Andrew said with a small smile on his face. Then it fell, "If she were
alive that is."
Andrew heard the glass doors open, but didn't bother to turn to see
who it was. Until he heard, "Then Goku said, 'Sera, that WAS the
dishwasher'," and heard two very loud giggles. He turned around to see who
made the joke........then............'THUNK'. Serena and Molly turn to see
Andrew on the floor, and realized he fainted. Both got a glass of water and
splashed them onto Andrew before Serena said, "Andrew, Time to wake up.
What, did you see a ghost too?" Molly and Serena laughed again at this.
Andrew just sat there dazed, and confused, before he got up and gave
Serena a hug, "Aren't you suppose to be dead?"
Serena stepped back and glared at Andrew, "Do I look dead?" At
Andrew's shake of the head, Serena gave Andrew another hug and got caught up
with him before she and Molly went to play the new Sailor V video game.
After dinner Serena's parent's asked, "So how was your first day
back at school?"
"Fine except for one thing," Serena said.
"What's that dear," Mrs. Tsukino asked.
"A total of 28 people fainted in my presence today. 27 in class,
Molly included, and Andrew at the Arcade." Everyone laughed at this. They
had all expected something like that would happen. Serena cleared the table
before she went up to her room to study.
The next day, after school, Serena, Amy, Ray, Lita, Mina, Luna, and
Artemis were at the Temple having a meeting. Serena saw a piece of paper in
Ray's hand, "What's you got there Ray?"
Ray frowned, "I wanted to save this for the end of the meeting.
It's a letter from Darien."
Serena went pale. During the flight back to Earth on the
VentureStar, The Scouts told Serena what happened to Darien and that he went
to Harvard in the United States, "So what does it say Ray? Out with it."
Ray read the letter out loud:
Dear Scouts,
Nice job done with the latest enemy you fought. I wish I could have
been there. Hearing about you girls in action made me realize I should stop
running from all my memories of Serena. I know it's a little much to ask
after all this time, but as anything new come up about her? I've booked a
flight back to Tokyo. I plan to finish my education at Tokyo University
instead of here. I've enclosed the flight time as to when I arrive at Tokyo
International. See you then.

"According to this, his plane lands in four days," Ray finished.
Serena didn't hear that part from Ray. She was busy on cloud nine that
Darien was going to be home at the end of the week.
Four days later, the Scouts, minus Serena, were at the airport.
Serena wanted to surprise Darien later today so she decided to stay home and
help her Mom out for a while. Darien's plane had just parked into the
terminal and the girls waited for a familiar black haired blue eyed man to
come out. They didn't wait long, he was one of the first out of the plane,
and he spotted the girls. He then grew sad. he had been hopping something
came up with Serena while he was gone, and had all but given up. He walked
up to them and said, "Hay girls. So how did it feel working with Earth's
special forces?"
Mina was the first to speak up, "Oh it was great, and the leader of
the team, Goku, he was so hunky."
"Ya, only problem is he's married and has a 5 year old son, Mina,"
Lita interjected, and Mina blushed. Everyone talked to Darien and told him
everything that had happened over the past 5 months he was gone, minus
finding Serena. After Darien was moved back into his apartment, he and the
girls decided to go to the park.
When Darien wasn't looking, Ray contacted Serena and told her Darien
was heading to the park. "Be right there Ray," was Serena's enthusiastic
reply.
Serena told her Mom she was going to the park and had just closed
the front door when her communicator went off again, "Serena here, what's
up?"
Sailor Mercury's face appeared, "Serena, Nega monster attack. we
need you here NOW!!"
"On my way. MOON CRYSTAL POWER," Serena transformed into Sailor
Moon and took to the roof tops. As soon as she was on the roof tops. she
picked up so much speed, she jumped from roof top to roof top, with out
running in between jumps. In less then 5 second, Sailor Moon had covered 2
blocks. She decide to call on a faster means to travel, "GALAXY GLIDER."
As soon as it stopped at Sailor Moon's feet, she jumped on and raced to the
park. When she got there she say monster that looked like total a humanoid
rock man. The Sailor Scouts were down, as was Tuxedo Mask. It was moving
in on Tuxedo Mask. Without thinking, Serena flicked her wrist, and
something appeared in her hand. she looked at it, amazed, before she took
aim and though it.
Tuxedo Mask was hurting bad. The monster easily got the Scouts
down, and him. Tux saw the rock man coming toward him, and knew he was done
for. At least he'd be with Serena again. Just as the rock monster was
about to attack, something wizzed past Tuxedo Mask's head, and hit the nega
scum in the chest. Tuxedo looked at it and was confused to see
a..........Silver Rose? Tuxedo Mask turned to see who through it and
almost fainted at what he saw. Floating about 20 feet in the air, on what
looked like a surf board was, "SAILOR MOON!!!!!!"
Sailor Moon smiled, and jumped off her Galaxy glider before
returning it to her sub space pocket. While in the air, she did a
somersault, and landed on the ground with the grace of a princess and
started her speech, "I am Sailor Moon. The champion of justice, and I say
on behalf of the moon. I will right all wrongs and triumph over evil. And
that means you nega slezz," Not wasting anymore time she took out her
scepter, "MOON SCEPTER ELIMINATION." An crescent energy beam went out and
turn the creature into moon dust. Serena powered down and ran to Darien,
who also powered down, "Darien, are you all right?"
Darien was too stunned to hear the question. He couldn't believe
that his Serena was alive and well. Instead, he just empraced her in a hug
whispering, "I love you, Meatball head."
Seren was stunned at first but returned the embrace just as
fiercely, "I love you too, Muffin." Just then they heard some whistling
tune.
The two turned to look at the Scouts, whistling, and swaying their
feet back and forth, and it suddenly clicked into Darien's head, "You knew,
and didn't tell me," he asked the Scouts.
All they could say was, "Surprise." Darien took Serena and wisked
her away faster then the girls could follow "Drat," Mina said, "I wanted to
know what they would do next."
Darien had taken Serena to the lake onto a boat ride. When they sat
in the middle of the lake, Serena and Darien got caught up on what each
other have been doing for the past year.
A month later, Darien took Serena out onto the lake again. They had
been dateing this long, which surprised Andrew when he found out the two
were involved, and their love for each only grew stronger with each passing
day. During their boat ride, Serena made a comment, "Oh, Darien. Every
time I'm with you it's like I'm in a dream."
Darien couldn't agree more, "Ya, ditto." The Two rowed back to
shore and got out. When Darien helped Serena out, she had a klutz attack
and landed in Darien's arms. "What a Klutz," Darien said, happily, "But your
My Klutz."
"Oh, Darien, Do you really mean that," Serena asked.
"Sure do, Meatball head," Darien said.
Just before their lips met, Serena said, "I love it when you call me
that."
A few second into the kiss, something hit Darien's head. He looked
and saw a ball that looked like Luna's head. Then a pink cloud appeared
above them and a pink head of hair landed on Serena's head, separating the
two from their kiss.
Guess who dropped in. Hope You enjoyed the story. I didn't expect my
epilogue to be this long, but it was worth it. I know your thinking I took
the Galaxy Glider idea out of Power Rangers in Space, but I couldn't help
it. No, I do not oun Power Rangers either, or the Galaxy Glider idea. Send
