Sailor Scouts R - Chapter 11: Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall

“That bad,” Andrew asked Darien.
Darien just nodded his head after giving him the latest in his
project gone bad, “Ya, and to make things worse, the guy left the whole
thing on me, and I’m not the one that even started it.”
“What’s going on Darien,” Darien and Andrew turned to see Ray
as she walked into the arcade.
“Darien has himself in one big hole, Ray,” Andrew replied.
“Ya, one of my classmates got started on a play and got me and
many other people in it. The cast couldn’t agree on the main character,
and they all walked out, then the guy that started it walked out on me,
leaving me with a stage, props, and no actors for a play scheduled in 1
week, and I don’t know what I’m going to do,” Darien explained.
Ray looked thoughtful for a minute before she got an idea,
“Darien, I think I can solve your problem.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me, Ray. Darien wants us in his
play," Mina asked excitedly.
“Well it was my idea actually and he agreed to it. Bottom line
he needs all four of us to do this. We should get Molly and Melvin in
on this too,” Ray explained.
Amy, Lita and Mina agreed before Mina said, “I’ll talk to Molly
and Melvin, and maybe get Allen in on it too, if I can talk to him
without Ann being around. Know what I mean?” Everyone agreed with
Mina. Ann has made it indirectly clear she is after Darien’s heart,
and they didn’t want to give Ann any advantages. Mina then ask, “So,
what play are we doing?”
“Well, Darien and I had decided to do a play of Snow White.
What do you guys think,” Ray asked. Everyone thought it was a great
idea and split up to do their part to get ready for the play.
Mina arrived at OSAP Jewelry store and saw Mrs. Baker finishing
with a customer before walking to say hi, “Good afternoon, and how may
I help you?”
“Hi, Mrs. Baker, is Molly around? I need to ask her something,”
Mina said. Mrs. Baker didn’t recognize the Mina, since she never met
her before now but assumed she was a friend of Molly and went to get
her daughter.
When Molly came down and saw Mina, she wondered, “(Now what
would the Sailor Scout of Venus want with me?) Hi, Mina what‘s up?”
Mina spun around to see Molly and said, “Well my friends and I
need help with something. A Friend of mine has started working on a
play scheduled to play in a week and we need actors. We were wondering
if you and Melvin would want to join in on it. We’re doing Snow White.”
Molly smiled, “Well I’d love to, Mina. As for Melvin I believe
I can get him on it too.”
“Thanks, Molly. I’d Love to stay and chat but I got to stop at
Allen’s house and ask him. Catch ya later, Molly,” with that, Mina
left and started running to Allen’s apartment.
After about an hour of asking for directions, and looking
through phone books, Mina found out where Allen lived and went up the
elevator of the apartment building Allen lived in. Once on the right
floor, mina walked to Allen’s front door and pressed her ear to the
door to find out if Ann was in. There were muffled voices indicating
an argument but couldn’t make out the words until she clearly heard Ann
shout, “OK, THAT’S IT! I’M TAKING WALK TO BLOW OFF THIS STEAM!” With
that signal, Mina ran behind a corner and waited until she was sure Ann
was in the elevator before returning to the door and knocking on it.
Allen wondered who was at the door, “(It can’t be Ann. If she
had lost her keys she would just teleport into the apartment.)” When
he opened the door, he was surprised to see Mina there, and placed a
smile on his face, “Hello Mina, and what do I owe for this visit, and
how did you learn where I live?”
“Well as to how I learned where you live, that’s a long story.
Why I’m here isn’t. My friends and I are organizing a play and we
wanted to know if you were interested in joining the cast.”
Allen said, “I’d love to.” After Mina gave Allen the
directions to the set, and gave a few more details, Mina left to see to
other ends.
The next morning, Darien was looking over the cast list and
deciding who would fill what role:
Molly
Melvin
Amy
Lita
Ray
Mina
Allen
Darien
After double checking it, and making sure everyone had a role,
Darien realized they were still 2 cast members short, “(Well maybe we
can do with just 5 dwarfs…….. Unless……),” Darien all of a sudden got
this evil smirk on his face, “(Oh, Ann is going to ‘LOVE’ this.)”
After running his idea with everyone else, they agreed and Ann was
part of the cast.
“(Oh ya, I like this alright…… NOT! I can’t believe I was
given the role of the evil queen. I want to play Snow White kiss
Darien but NNNOOOO, Darien had to give Snow White and the Prince rolls
to Allen and Mina. GGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! Well, Guess I’ll just have
to crash the play with a cardien.)”
Over the next few days, the cast did crash course studying on
each of their rolls, considering they only had days till the play opens.
During the week, Ann managed to get Allen’s stack of cardiens and his
flute. Ann didn’t know how to play Allen’s flute but thought, “(How
hard can it be? Just plug a few holes and blow into it, right?)” Ya
right, famous last words Ann.
The night of the play, Ann went backstage, where nobody else
was, and picked a cardien that looked like a clown. Ann then took the
flute and started playing a few melodies and said, “Cardien Phyla I
summon you.” The card grew and enlarged to take the shape of a clown.
The rest of the cast was getting ready to take the stage. When
the curtain was up a spot light came on the clown on one of the castle
towers, “Break a leg.”
The Scout and Allen knew right away what it was. The scouts
were looking for an opertuaty to transform and Allen was thinking,
“Ann, I know you sent that cardien and I’m going to have a talk with
you about it later.” With that, Allen went out to stop it, “Stop, I
wont let you ruin this set.”
The cardien didn’t listen and threw a ball at Allen. The ball
grew to be a big red ball and slammed into Allen knocking him and
Darien to the ground and out cold.
“(How many times will I be a victim before these things stop
attacking where I hang,)” Molly asked herself as Melvin grabbed her
hand.
“Molly, lets get out here, that thing is dangerous,” With
that, Melvin began dragging molly off the stage, but he lost his
footing and fell down sending molly into the air. Molly crashed into
Amy, Lita and Ray and lost consciousness wile the rest of the group
tried to untangle themselves.
Mina was the first to get up from all the commotion, since she
managed to dodge the flying Molly, “We put a lot of work into this play
and you’ve ruined it.” Mina took out her pen.
“VENUS POWER”
Sammy, Serena’s little brother, was among the audience and was
relieved when Sailor Venus ran onto the stage and thought, sadly, “I
wish I could’ve seen Serena take one of these things down.”
The cardien turned toward the back of the stage as Sailor Venus
got on stage, “You know e worked long and hard on the play.”
“No kidding,” the cardien said sarcastically.
“We got this far, and then you had to come and spoil it all.
You may think I’m just a pretty blond, but in my case what you see is
definitely what you don’t get. Sailor V is for victory, I’m Sailor
VENUS.”
Just then the other Scout jumped onto the stage and Mars
started, “I’m Sailor Mars and I’m not clowning around. I call upon my
firebird.”
“You want trouble your looking at it. My name’s trouble, I’m
Sailor Jupiter.”
“You’ve met my friends Mars and Jupiter. Some people may say
I’m a book worm, but my most lethal weapon is my brain. Before for I
am Sailor Mercury” Sailor Mars took action first.
“I call upon the powers of Mars. FIREBALLS CHARGE!”
Sailor Mars’s prayer strip landed on the cardien’s head,
effectively freezing it in place.
“I spent a lot of studying time memorizing my lines. I hate
wasting time, and that’s what you made me do,” Sailor Mercury said.
“MERCURY ICE BUBBLES FREEZE!”
Mercury’s Ice bubbles surrounded and froze around the cariden
making sure it stays frozen in place.
Jupiter shouted, “Sailor Venus, now!”
“You got it,” Sailor Venus said as she pulled the Moon tiara
from her subspace pocket.
“MOON TIARA MAGIC”
The Tiara sliced into the cardien and turned it into a burnt
out playing card. After everyone woke up, they decided to cancel the
play since the cardien managed to destroy the set, and cleaned up the
place, and gave everyone back their money.
Later that night, Allen was with Ann back at their apartment,
“Ann, do you realize how dangerous it is to summon a cardien if the
correct notes are not played?”
Ann, who had been holding an ice pack to her head, looked up at
Allen, “How was I suppose to know it would go wild on me and beat my
head to a pulp before attacking the stage. Anyway, Allen, you forgot
why we are here. To get energy to keep the tree alive.”
“From now on, Ann, keep the flute melodies to me so we don’t
have a repeat of this,” Allen said before retiring to his room.
Somewhere in the future
Hotaru was on her way home from another day at school, enjoying
the sunset. She was so focused on it, she almost didn’t see Sailor
Pluto until she crashed into her, “Pluto sorry, didn’t see you there.
What’s wrong?”
“I’m in need of your help Hotaru, come with me please,” Sailor
Pluto said as she opened a time portal and the two stepped into it.
Present day Tokyo
Our mysterious time traveler was overlooking the city of Tokyo,
examining the town, “I’m a little early for the Sailor Scout final
fight. Sailor Pluto said it should take place in a few days. I hope
so, because Freeza and his father are due on Earth shortly after that.
I have to track him down in order to find Goku. I only hope this
antidote will work. So he can fight the coming androids.” Trunks
didn’t waste anymore time and flew into the air, looking for a hotel
to spend the next couple of nights.
