Greetings to you all. Here’s the next chapter. I’ve gotten several
emails asking when Serena will return. I suggest to you, that you read
Sailor Moon DBZ for the answer to that question, and besides, this
story is a little easier to grasp if you read it first. I’ll have ch.
6 of Sailor Scouts R up on Sunday April 23rd or 30th, for ASMR, but it
will be up at my site sometime during the week of April 17th.

Sailor Scouts R - Ch. 5: Cherry Blossom Time.
In Allen and Ann’s apartment one night, they were examining
blossom pedals that floated through the open balcony door, that night.
Allen made a comment that they looked beautiful.
“They’re cherry blossoms,” Ann explained, “Every spring the
people of this planet go out and celebrate their blooming. I hear they
use up a great deal of life energy at this time, and that’s exactly
what we need.”
“Remember, long ago, when the doom tree use to bloom like that.
So fragrant and live, it was magnificent,” Allen said. Just then a
plan came to his mind, “It’s perfect. We’ll steal energy from humans,
giving homage to their own lovely trees.”
The next morning, in Tokyo Park, Ms. Haruna, Amy and Lita’s
teacher, had arranged for her class to spend the school day at the
cherry blossom festival. Ray, and Mina managed to convince their
teachers to let them go as well, after giving them the save excuse Ms.
Haruna gave the Crossroads Junior High Principal.
Mina said, “It’s really a great day here isn’t it Ms. Haruna.
Everyone is here.”
Amy asked, “I bet it was hard to let the principal give us the
day off, wasn’t it Ms. Haruna?”
Ms. Haruna answered, “No, it was easy.”
Lita said, “She told him it was part of our environmental
studies.”
Ray chipped in happily, “Well it is.” Ann and Molly were along
to, but they kept quiet during the walk. Molly, cause she was thinking
about Serena, and Ann because she was looking at every tree in the
area, and enjoying the scenery.
By the time they got a good ways into Tokyo Park, they spotted
Melvin under a cherry tree, with a blanket set up. He was looking in
every direction before he spotted the group saying, “HUH! Molly!
Molly! Molly! Molly! Molly! HUH! HI EVERYBODY!!!”
“Hey, Melvin, what’s shaking,” Molly asked as everybody else
was saying their hi’s as well.
Amy said, “Thanks for saving us a place.”
Molly asked, “When did you get here?”
“Nine o’ clock last night,” Melvin said.
This put everyone into shock, before Amy said, “But it must
have been cold out here last night. How could you stand it?”
“The cold doesn’t bother me. I just zip up into my sleeping
bag. It’s all goose down. I was warm as toast last night,” Melvin
replied.
Ms. Haruna was ecstatic, “Melvin, you didn’t have to go through
all that trouble for us.”
“I didn’t mind. I wanted to do for you guys and of course I’d
do anything for Molly.”
Molly was surprised, “Huh! You did it for me. (Will I ever know
this guy?)”
“Yes, especially for you Molly.”
Molly blushed, “Oh Melvin.” Everyone sat down and got right to
the food, except for Ann.
Mina asked, “Hay, Ann where is your lunch box?”
Without thinking, Ann said, “I don’t need food really, just
energy.”
“What?” Mina asked.
Ann tried to cover, ”Uh, That is.....”
“Oh, you forgot yours? That’s ok, we got plenty to go around,”
Mina said.
“Quiet please everyone. I’m getting a headache. If you behave,
I might give you a free period,” Ms. Haruna said.
Mina stared at everyone, before turning to Ms. Haruna, ”As
Serena would say, Ms. H we’re not in school.”
Ms. Haruna sweat dropped, “Oh ya!!!” She then grew slightly
sad when she remembered what Mina said about Serena. True Ms. H yelled
at Serena, but she was one of the students she’d grown fawned of in her
career as a teacher.
Just then, Ann and Mina say Allen, and Mina said, “Oh, hay Ann,
isn’t that your brother? Why don’t you ask him to join us. It’s
weird, you know, I see him everywhere, and, I’m telling you, I think
he’s following me. (Is he interested in me?)”
Allen was watching Mina as Ann was walking up to him, “Ah,
beautiful!”
Ann heard that and asked, “Do you really think she’s beautiful,
Allen?”
Allen quickly recovered and said, “I was talking about the
cherry blossoms.”
“I don’t care,” Ann said as she was leaning on a tree. She
then went around the back, and shed her disguise. Allen did also as
Ann said, “I’m more interested in getting fresh energy from these
humans.”
Allen said, “Exactly what I was thinking. Lets start with a
cardien.” Allen took out a stack of cards and showed them to Ann, “So,
Ann, pick a good one!” Ann picked a card and it floated above them.
Allen took out his flute and began to play. The cardien began to grow
and take shape.
Not to far away, Molly and Melvin were admiring the cherry
trees. Molly let a pedal land on her hand and looked at it before
saying, “Isn’t it pretty?”
Melvin said, “Ya, but your much more prettier then a cherry
blossom.”
Molly said, “Hay cut it out, Melvin. I really Hate it when
you talk like that.” Truth be told, she did like it, but often did
this to play around with Melvin a little.
Melvin took the bait, “But Molly, I can’t help it if that’s
the way I feel about you.”
Molly blushed, “Well, ok. But don’t tell the others.” Just
then, Molly and Melvin saw something strange. One of the cherry trees
was getting brighter. No one else was nearby, and to anyone near
there, they saw a streak of white light shoot straight into the air,
before it stopped and a scream was heard.
Ms. Haruna came around the corner just then, “Oh there you are.
I’ve been looking all over for...... huh!” She just noticed them on
the ground and went to them to check their condition. She was relieved
when she discovered they were only unconscious, “(I lost Serena, I
don’t want to lose any more students).” Just then she saw a shadow and
turned to see a woman standing over her, ”Please! Please! You got to
help me. You got to help me these poor children.” Just then, the
women seemed to become transparent and saw dark matter inside her,
before becoming solid again. To anyone in the area, another white
light shot up and Ms. Haruna lost consciousness. Mina found them lying
on the ground shortly later and got help by going to a near by medical
shack in the park. There the doctor looked them over and said,
“They’ll pull through but it’s strange, it’s like they had there energy
sucked right out of them. Do you know what happened? I’ve never seen
anything like it. That’s makes ten people today.”
Mina was shocked, “What? That many?”
“Hmmm. It’s not hot enough for a sun stroke,” The doctor said.
Luna and Artemis, who were also there, only nodded at each other and
all three of them left the medical building.
“I think we need to go back and look for clues,“ Luna said.
Mina agreed and took out her communicator to fill the others in.
Lita, Ray, and Amy got to the scene shortly afterwards and
began to look around. Lita was puzzled, “This is the place but all I
see are trees.”
Amy said, “I don’t see anything unusual”
Mina, the newly elected leader of the Sailor Scouts, said over
the communicator, “Be careful, stay on your guard everyone. I’ll be
there shortly. Mina out.”
Just then, a wind began to blow. Ray began to sense bad vibes,
“I feel------ I feel a strange energy.” Just then Ray turned to see a
glowing tree. Then the gang noticed a cardien attached to that tree.
It’s eyes opened up and began to glow red. Instantly, everyone was
caught in some force field, and it began to drain their energy as they
screamed.
Mina was just in ear shot by this point and heard them
screaming, as did Luna and Artemis. Artamis said, “The girls are in
trouble.”
Luna agreed, “Mina, transform.”
“You got it. VENUS POWER,” Mina screamed as her transformation
took over. She was soon Sailor Venus and on the scene. She say the
girls, stuck in a glowing force field.
“They’re losing energy fast,“ Artemis said, “Help them, hurry.”
Just then a cardien came out of the glowing tree and began to laugh.
“EEEK!” was all Venus could say. The cardien shot out and went
at Venus. Mina dodged the attack, and did an attack of her own.
“VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH.”
The attack only bounced off the cardien, “Uh oh.”
Amy shouted, “Sailor Venus. Don’t get trapped like us.”
Ray added, “What ever you do, don’t look into its eyes.”
Mina asked, “Its eyes?”
Luna shouted, “Behind you!”
Mina turned, but to late, for the cardien grabbed Sailor Venus
and dragged her with her back on the ground for several yards, before
the cardien’s eyes began to glow. Mina mad the mistake of looking up
as she said, “Let go!” Just then a force field came up from the ground
and surrounded Sailor Venus. the cardien lifted into the air as Sailor
Venus struggled to get up, but began to sink below the ground.
Luna noticed the cardien was trying to send Mina to another
dimention, and ran to help while Artemis shouted, “Luna!” Luna grabbed
Sailor Venus’s glove with her teeth and began to pull, but was useless
as both were sucked in.
The girls all shouted out, ”MINA!” Each began to think, (Mina,
not you too. We already lost Serena.). But that was the last thought
they all had before they lost consignees as Artemis began to face off
with the cardien.
At Allen and Ann’s apartment, the tree began to heal with the
energy it was receiving. Allen said, “Look Ann. It’s like the old
days. The doom tree is finally getting strong and beautiful again.”
Ann said, “There must be something about these girls’ energy
Allen. I can feel my old powers coming back.”
Allen issued the next command, “OK, Racy, go steal all their
energy right now.”
Mean while, in another dimention, Mina and Luna realized they
had a serious problem on their hands, “What do we do Luna? We have to
help the girls.”
“I don’t know Mina, but right now, there is nothing we can do,”
was Luna’s reply.
“Where are we, Luna? Are we dead,” Mina asked.
Instead of Luna, someone else said, “Sailor Venus.” Both Luna
and Mina turned around to see the one figure they hadn’t expected to
appear.............. Queen Serenity.
Mina hung her head in sorrow just then, “Your majesty.”
“Sailor Venus what is wrong,” Queen Serenity asked.
“We failed you, your majesty. Because of our inability to help
your daughter, she lost her life,” was all Venus could say.
“Princess Mina, you should never feel like you failed me or
Serena. What happened wasn’t your fault. It was an unavailable
tragedy. Don’t blame your self for it.”
“But who else was there to blame. Serena is dead, and the rest
of the Scouts are probably close to death themselves as we speak.”
“Mina, there is no one to blame but the enemy for these
actions. The best you can do now, is try to put the past behind you,
and go back to save your friends.”
With new found determination, Mina was ready to kick some but,
“Problem is, how do I get back?” Before she could say anything, Mina,
and Luna were enveloped in a white light.
Mean while, Allen was issuing his orders to Racy again. He
didn’t fee like being distracted by a mere cat, “Get them Racy. We
need all the energy you can get from those humans.” The cardien had
moved the girls into the tree, and continued to drain their energy.
Artemis was very tired, and had injureies just about everywhere
on his body and the cardien was ready to pounce, “Get ready, RACY is
here!”
“I can’t fight. I can’t hold on anymore,” just as the cardien
was about to go for the blow on Artemis, the moon began to flare with
life, and a very short eclipse took place, “What was that?”
“I’m back, I’m bold, maybe even beautiful, “Artemis turned to
see the dimentional gate open up again, as a familiar voice continued,
“I’m in your face, and your going to half to deal with it. Game’s over
nega-trash. Time for this card to hit the deck. No one likes a party
crasher.” By this point the gate closed and Sailor Venus and Luna were
standing there, ready for action, “and you weren’t invited. In the
name of Venus, I fight for love, and justice. It’s all over pal, I’m
Sailor Venus. I will triumph over evil, and that means you!”
Artemis said, “I thought you two were goners for sure.”
Luna said, “Artemis, so little faith you have in us.”
Racy wasted no more time, “Your mine.” she charged at Venus.
Mina, being in a lot of rage now, attacked, “VENUS CRESCENT
BEAM SMASH.” The attack sent Racy slightly off course, but Mina still
had to dodge anyway, and landed at a tree trunk. Racy sent flower
pedals, and Mina ducked, and watched as the spot where her head was,
become a whole in the tree.
Racy was about to go for the kill when a white rose intercepted
the cardien, “The cherry blossom looks fragile in the moonlight. But
remember, its fragile beauty camouflages great strength.” It was the
Moonlight Knight, to the rescue.
“Cool timing Moonlight Knight,” was Mina’a answer.
“Sailor Venus, only you can save your friends,” he said.
This got Mina puzzled for some reason before someone shouted,
“Princess Mina.”
Sailor Venus looked up to see something falling from the moon’s
direction. When it landed in her hand, she recognized it. It was
Sailor Moon’s tiara, “What’s this for?”
Queen Serenity spoke up, “Because of your relation with Sailor
Moon, you can use her tiara to defeat the enemy.”
“Queen Serenity......... Thanks,” Mina said. Just then the
cardien came at Sailor Venus and she went to work, moon tiara in hand
and Sailor Venus attacked, “MOON TIARA MAGIC.” The tiara glowed with
power and went out to the cardien. The cardien only had time to shout,
“RACY,” before it turned into a burnt out playing card.
Allen told Ann, “Racy is toast.”
Ann said, “But we did get a lot of energy.”
After the cardien was destroyed, the tree holding the scouts
vanished and they began to come around. They were glad to see that
Venus was ok. Amy was the first to come to when Venus asked, “Amy, are
you ok?”
The Moonlight Knight walked up to Mina and said, “You did it
Sailor Venus. You saved your friends, and all because you believed you
could do it, and found great strength in your friendship. Smooth move,
see ya.” With that, the Knight walked off.
“Oh, that guy is so hunky,” Mina said.
“Your a real friend Sailor Venus,” Amy said, rather weakly.
“Thanks,” Lita said
“Your a real friend,” Ray said. Mina smiled at them all.
Luna asked Artemis, “Do you think the girls are finally going
to get their act together?”
“Ya, but now the hard part. Keeping it together,” Artemis
said.
Rays aid, “All the same you could have been a little quicker
you know what took you so long any way, Mina.” Just then the two got
into, of all things, a tongue war.
