Mixx Entertainment then released the Sailor Moon Manga English translations in individual issues, called Chix Comix. These are much nicer since they have colored Manga artwork on the front and backs of each issue.
Mixx Entertainment also released translated Sailor Moon Mangas from the Sailor Moon SuperS series, in a magazine for girls called Smile.

After the first 7 issues, Smile magazine was canceled and replaced with Tokyo Pop, a new magazine about the pop culture of Japan as it suddenly became popular in America. However, the Sailor Moon SuperS manga translations were continued in a new Smile format, similar to the origonal MixxZine. The new issue included several different mangas in English, as well as the Sailor Moon Super S story.
And as for the Pocket Mixx, they are simply the compilations of 3-4 issues each. The neat thing about them is that they are arranged to be just like the original Japanese Manga books, with the same cover art. The one sad difference is the lack of character profiles, pull out posters, and advertisements for the previous Mangas. The original one’s don’t cost $10 either!! ^-^ But the little chat boxes which appear in some issues are really in the original mangas as well, though I believe Naoko Takeuchi has written new ones for Mixx Entertainment to print in the translations.
