Hi, every one, it’s me again. This is my third fanfic. This story
replaces Sailor Moon S, and starts a few months after the end of
Phantom on the Moon. I don’t know what the Japanese school system is
like, so for the sake of argument, I’m going to say it’s just like the
US school system. For those of you who have visited my web site, you
have seen that I’ve split my fics into two different categories, My
Sailor Moon DBZ series, and, What Ifs. The four fics I’ve written so far
are in the My Sailor Moon Universe category, which means they are
connected, chronologically. The Sailor Moon world for this category
happens like this, (this indicates my fanfics):
First Season
(Sailor Scouts R) - During prologue of Sailor Moon DBZ, this story has
not been started yet, and is a rewrite of the Doom

Legend of the Excaliber - Chapter 1: Enter Sailor Selene
Serena was done paying attention in class, as far as she was
concerned. It was the last day of school, before summer vacation, and
Ms. Haruna was congratulating all the students for a hard work done,
even to Serena, who’s study habits improved greatly about a year ago,
when she returned to school after being declared dead for a year. Now
Serena was looking forward to getting out of class and spend the summer
with her friends. Just then, Serena’s wish came true and the bell
rang. Everyone got up cheering for joy as they ran out the door, but
not before Serena did, as she was leaving spoke in her wake.
Serena only got to the school gate when three voices called,
"Hay, Serena, wait up!!"
Serena turned to see Amy, Lita, and Molly walking up from the
school doors, "Hay guys!! So what does everyone plan to do for the
summer?"
"I hear there’s a cooking class that starts at the community
center at the end of the month, and I was planning on attending it,"
Lita answered.
"I need to study to get ready for our first year in high
school," was Amy’s reply, before everyone groaned at it.
"Amy, it’s summer vacation. If I catch your head in so much as
one text book before school starts again, I’ll take it away from you
until school starts," this got several sweat drops at Serena’s
statement.
"Serena, I’ve seen you do some things, but what you just said
to Amy will top them all," Lita stated, "And what about you, Molly?
What are your plans?"
"I don’t know. I thought about just laying back and doing what
ever," Molly replied. With this said, everyone went their separate
ways to their homes.
In a different part of the Juban district, two individuals were
walking around, looking at what they could. One of them was a female
about Draien’s height. She had dark red, curly, hair that went just
past her shoulders. She had on some red shorts, and a jean jacket on,
but only because they just came out of the mall from buying them, after
using their powers to create some Japanese currency. The two decided
to disguise themselves, since there attire was drawing attention from
the locals.
The other individual, a male, had on Blue jeans, and a white
shirt. He was also about Darien’s height, and had short blond hair.
He looked at his wife and asked real quietly, "You picking anything up
with your senses, Rachel?"
Rachel shook her head in confusion, "I’m sensing so much, it’s
giving me a headache, Mark."
Mark just smiled, "Just try to concentrate on where the crystal
is. The ship’s computer said it was definitely some where in this area
of this town." Rachel nodded and tried to narrow her senses to high
power auras. Just then someone who looked familiar ran around a corner
at the end of the block, but before she could get a good look, the
figure raced across the road and disappeared around another building.
Rachel tried to calm down, forgetting about her task.
Mark looked at Rachel, "Are you all right?"
Rachel shook her head, "I’m fine, I just thought I saw someone
familiar run across the road."
Mark held his wife in his arms, "You know that’s impossible,
Rachel. Everyone we know is either dead, or back at the ship."
Rachel nodded her head, and began to cry on Mark’s shoulder while he
held her.
Meanwhile, in a secluded part of the Negaverse, a general to
King Onix, who is Beryl’s brother, was planning his first attempt at
taking energy from the humans. General Maverick, the fourth general of
King Onix was planning his strategy with his co-worker, General Viper.
These two were ordered to perform separate tasks on Earth, but decided
to co-ordinate with each other to keep the Scouts busy. General
Maverick was charged with gathering energy, while General Viper looked
for the legendary Lunar Excaliber. General Maverick spoke up, "OK,
lets go over this one more time. I plan to take a Youma to this park
in Tokyo," pointing to a map on the table.
"While I check into this sword shop I saw," while pointing at
another part of the map on the opposite side of town, "Hopefully, the
Scouts will come to you and fight your Youma while I check the store
out. I might even gather some energy while I’m there, just in case the
Excaliber isn’t there. That way, the trip won’t be a total loss,"
General Viper finished.
"Good!! I hear these human’s off-springs have let out of
school early for summer vacation. So the park will be busy in a couple
of hours. I’ll send my youma to the park then, and drain everyone’s
energy," Maverick concluded. The Two nodded and went to make final
preparations.
"Hi, Mom, I’m home," Serena announced as she walked into the
house.
"Hi, Serena, how was your last day at Junior High," Ellen,
Serena’s mom asked.
"Uneventful, we didn’t even do any assignments. It was just a
big celebration," Serena answered.
"No, youmas today dear," Mrs. Tsukino asked.
"Nope, things have been uneventful in that department ever
since I got back from the Silver Millennium," Serena answered. Almost
two years ago, all three Tsukinos, Sammy, Ellen, and Ken, learned of
Serena’s identity as Sailor Moon, when the Scouts saved them from a
cardian while at the beach, but Serena, at the time, was missing and
presumed dead. Now that Serena has been back for about a year now, her
Mother, Father, and even her brother, have been worried about her every
time she went to a fight.
Serena ran up stairs to change into day clothes, and saw Luna
on her bed, "How was your day at school, Serena?"
"Same old, Same old, when it comes to the last day of school
for the year. Any messages from Mina or Ray," Serena asked.
"Yes their is Serena. Mina called me earlier today on my
communicator," referring to her caller, "and asked me to have you, meet
her at the park for a girl’s day out," was Luna’s reply, with a smile.
Since there haven’t been any new enemies for several months, Luna has
been glad that Serena and the girls still hang our together, having a
social life.
"Thanks Luna," Serena said as she finished getting dressed in
the walk in closet she had, "Got to go catch Mina. See ya."
In yet another part of Tokyo, two figures were walking toward
the park, both in deep thought. One of them, a female, had curly,
aqua marine hair that went to just about below her shoulders, and was
wearing a pink dress, and a brown skirt. She asked her companion, "Any
idea how to find the Sailor Scouts, Haruka? There has been no activity
for months now, and Sailor Pluto was not much help in telling us their
identities."
Haruka was a female also, but no one can tell this unless they
looked really closely, or you’d think she was a man. she had short
blond hair, and wore a T-shirt and blue jeans, "None, what so ever.
we need to find them though and tell them of the coming danger,
Michiru." Michiru nodded at Haruka’s statement. Just then, as they
reached the entrance to the park, when they heard a scream.
Mark and Rachel had just entered the park. After hours of
searching for the Silver Imperium Crystal, the two decided to take a
break, and walk in the park. After a few minutes, they sat down on a
park bench. Rachel spoke up first, "I wonder how old my sister was
when the Silver Millennium was destroyed?"
Mark embraced Rachel in a hug, "I wish I knew the answer to
that as well, about my own sister, Mina, my princess. One thing I do
hope for though. If they had to die, I just hope it was quick and
painless."
"I hope that as well, my prince," agreed Rachel. Just then,
they heard a scream coming from further into the park. With out even
thinking, they hid behind a bush. Since their mission was under cover,
they wanted to keep their powers a secret also. Rachel took out her
transformation brooch, and Mark took out his transformation pen.
"SELENE CRYSTAL POWER."
"VENUS KNIGHT POWER."
The two began to transform. When they were done, where Rachel
and Mark stood, was now Sailor Selene and Venus Knight. Sailor Selene
was wearing a Sailor Scout outfit, that was just like Sailor Moon’s,
only blue replaced where Sailor Moon’s outfit was red. Attached to
Sailor Selene’s hip was a strap to hold a sward in place, with no sward
in it.
Venus Knight was dressed similar to Prince Darien, except Venus
Knight’s outfit was bright yellow, with dark gray seams. Also he had a
cape that was black on the outside, but inside it was red. Attached to
his hip was a strap, with a sword attached to it.
When they got to the scene of the screams, Sailor Selene and
Venus Knight saw a youma. Just as they were about to attack, they
heard it say, "Give your energy to the Negaverse."
"I don’t think so pal," Sailor Selene announced as she came
into sight of the Youma.
"Who are you," asked the Youma.
"I am Sailor Selene, the guardian of the Moon, and now the
Earth. And I say you should leave while you can," Selene said.
"Sailor Selene? Princess Rachel disappeared over a thousand
years ago. You can’t be her," stated the youma.
"Well thanks for telling me how far into the future I
traveled," Sailor Selene said. Just then she heard Venus Knight draw
his sword, and Sailor Selene sent her attack, "CRYSTAL SELENE SHIVER."
Sailor Selene brought her hands together, and to her left side. Power
built up in her hands in the form of bright white energy, and she
thrusted her hands forward and let the power fly toward the Youma. It
hit with a satifiing crash, but the Youma was barely still standing.
Venus Knight ran at the youma and used his sward, "VENUS SOLAR
BLADE SLASH!!!" Energy lanced out of the sword and slashed at the
youma. It was badly hurt, but still on its feet.
The youma laughed loudly, "Now its my turn!!"
Mina was walking to the park, enjoying the view. Today was her
last day of school. After school, Mina left a message for Serena with
Luna, by communicator, to have Serena meet her at the park. She had
just reach the back entrance to the park when she heard a scream. Mina
opened her wrist communicator, "Mina to Serena. Are you there?"
Serena’s face came up on the little view screen, "Don’t worry,
Mina. I got your message, and I already left the house to meet you at
the park."
"Good, cause there’s a youma attack at the park. Call the
others and get here fast." Serena nodded her head before Mina signed
off. She went behind a bush and took out her transformation pen,
"VENUS STAR POWER." Shortly after a light show, where Mina stood was
now Sailor Venus. She took off to the source of the screams, and when
she got there, she saw two figures she never saw before. One was
clearly a Sailor Scout, the other looked something similar to Prince
Darien, only with a yellow uniform.
Sailor Venus heard the Yellow uniformed guy shout, "VENUS SOLAR
BLADE SLASH," and saw a yellow beam lance out from his sword and hit
the youma.
The Youma was still on his feet when it said, "Now it’s my
turn." Venus watched as the youma was sending energy attacks at both
figures. When they were both down, it went after the yellow suited
guy.
Venus Knight was down. He was in pain from the injury on his
leg, and he was sure it was probably broken. He saw the youma coming
at him, ready to finish the job. he couldn’t get up because his leg
hurt too much, and the youma snarled, "I think I’ll finish you off
first."
A voice from behind shouted, "Don’t be too sure about that."
Venus Knight, the youma, and Sailor Selene turned in time to see a
Sailor Scout shout, "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE." A chain of hearts
came out of the Sailor Scout's hand and it wrapped around the youma.
Venus Knight was shocked. This was not just any Sailor Scout, it was
his sister, Mina, AKA Sailor Venus, older then 8 yrs old, but her none
the less. Sailor Venus pulled on her chain and sent the youma flying
backwards and it landed on its butt. This attack was followed by:
"MERCURY ICE STORM SPLASH."
"MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND."
"JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP."
Still tied up in Venus’s chain, the youma took all the attacks
as the rest of the Scouts landed next to Venus. The youma though was
still there. Now Sailor Selene was ready to faint. Here she was a
thousand years into the future, and the Royal guard of Princess Serena
were her, alive and at the age of teenagers. Sailor Mars spoke up,
"Get ready for some trouble pal, cause your about to get dusted,
curtasy of Sailor Mars......"
"Mercury......"
"Jupiter......."
"And Venus....."
Together, "SCOUTS HONOR."
Then someone from behind Sailor Selene shouted, "MOON SCEPTER
ELIMINATION." Sailor Selene turned to see a Sailor Scout suited
similar to her, only with red bows and red boots, as she sent an attack
at the youma from a scepter in her hands. "I am Sailor Moon.
Champion of Justice. And I say on Behalf of the Moon. I will right
wrongs and triumph over evil. And that means you." The attack hit the
youma but it was still up, but it turned to dust shortly after:
"WORLD SHAKING."
"DEEP SUBMERGE."
Followed almost immediately by another, "MOON SCEPTER
ELIMINATION," and the three attacks hit dead on and the youma turned to
dust.
Just then, General Maverick materialized above them, "Hear me
Sailor Scouts. I am General Maverick. Fourth General to King Onix of
the Negaverse. Queen Beryl’s death will be avenged on all of you,
especially you, Sailor Moon. Till next time." With that, he vanished
as quickly as he came.
Sailor Moon walked up to the two new Sailor Scouts and was
about to greet the two who saved everyone when someone behind her
shouted, "HOLD IT, IMPOSTOR." Sailor Moon turned around to see another
unknown Sailor Scout dressed similar to her, only didn’t have any red
in her anywhere, and she was ‘ANGRY.’
Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus walked up to this new
Sailor Scout, and Jupiter was the first to speak, with her hands ready
to attack, "WHO ARE YOU TO CALL SAILOR MOON AN IMPOSTOR? ANSWER ME!!!"
Everyone could tell Sailor Jupiter was not happy with this new comer.
"I am Sailor Selene, the guardian of the Moon, and this is my
husband, Venus Knight," indicating the guy in yellow, who didn’t have a
broken leg after all, "I call her an impostor, because it’s true,
Sailor Jupiter. There never has been, and never will be, a Sailor
Moon. (She doesn’t remember me? And she’s fallen into this impostor’s
trap?)," Sailor Selene continued, "We’ll discuss this another day.
Right now I’m on a mission to find the Lunar Excaliber, and I don’t
have time to deal with this." She then turned to Sailor Moon, anger
restored, "And if I ever find out that you are ever responsible for
this, or any other youma, and the Scouts get injured, YOUR GOOSE WILL
BE COOKED." With that, she and Venus Knight left the area.
"The nerve of that Scout, why I outa......," Sailor Mars was
interrupted by someone clearing her throat.
She and the rest of the Scouts turned to see the two new
Scouts, and one of them said, "We need to talk, NOW." The Scouts knew
this short blond haired Scout was serious just by looking at her. They
agreed and went to the temple to have a meeting.
"You know you were a little harse back there," Mark said, after
he powered down, "Why did you explode at Sailor Moon?"
Sailor Selene powered down, and fumed, "You know full well that
there was never to be a Sailor Moon during the Silver Millennium. It
was considered..........unethical. I don’t know who that Sailor Scout
is, but she better watch it from now on."
Mark put a disgruntled look on his face, "You’re always finding
it difficult to trust a new Scout, every time one shows up. You were
this way even with Princess Serena’s guard when they joined up. Have a
little faith in Sailor Moon." Rachel just snorted. "Just promise me
you won’t go killing her without concrete evidence that she’s an enemy,
OK," Mark asked. Rachel nodded her head, and the two decided to book a
hotel for the night.
In the Negaverse, General Maverick presented himself before
King Onix, who was a little steamed, "You failed Maverick. Because of
your incompetence, we lost a good youma, and the energy it had
gathered. I suggest you change your strategy," Maverick nodded as
General Viper presented himself, "Did you find it at that store you
checked, General Viper?"
Viper shock his head, "It wasn’t there, so I took the liberty
of draining everyone’s energy while I was there."
"At least you came back with a consolation prize," Onix stated,
in a slitly better mood.
In the Cherry Hill Temple, the Scouts detransformed, and the
blond haired Scout spoke up, "I’m Haruka Tenou, Sailor Uranus, and this
is Michiru, Sailor Neptune. We came here to warn you about a new evil
coming, but it’s made its first move already in the park earlier.
Sailor Pluto sent us."
"I’m Serena, and this is Amy, Ray, Lita, and Mina. We heard
Sailor Selene mention something about the Lunar Excaliber. Do you know
what that is," Serena asked.
Haruka shook his head, "No. Neither of us do. Maybe Luna
might know something."
As if on cue, Luna and Artemis ran into the fire room, and Luna
spoke up, "I told your Mom you are here, Serena, and that you’d be home
later. What happened today?" Serena filled in Luna on what happened
in the park, and asked about the Excaliber, "The Lunar Excaliber was
one of Moon families best kept secrets. Only they and those they could
seriously trust knew about it, obviously I was one of those trusted
ones. It’s a very powerful sword that is to be used by Sailor Selene.
The last person to be able to use the Excaliber was the first Sailor
Selene. The Sailor Selenes after her couldn’t prove themselves strong
enough to control it, until the last Sailor Selene. She was only a
few days from obtaining it, when her ship disappeared on its return
home, about 5 years before the destruction of the Moon, while on a
diplomatic mission to another star system. Serena, I know you don’t
want her involved, but we need Sailor Earth. If it were not for this
Sailor Selene, and this Venus Knight person, or Uranus and Neptune, we
would have suffered greatly."
"As much as I hate to admit it, Luna, your right. I mean, not
even my Scepter alone was able to finish that Youma off. Luna, do you
have her transformation wand on you," Serena asked. Luna jumped up in
the air and did a back flip, and a green and dark yellow transformation
pen materialized. Serena caught it, "I’ll pay her a visit in the
morning," Serena put the wand in her sub-space pocket, "Is there
anything else?" After everyone shook their heads, Serena adjourned the
meeting, and everyone went home. Before Haruka and Michiru left, Luna
gave them wrist communicators so they could keep in touch.
Serena walked in the door, "Mom, I’m home."
Mrs. Tsukino came from the dining room, with worry written all
over her face, "Serena, what happened?" Serena related all the events
of that afternoon with her family while eating dinner, and included her
plans for tomorrow in the conversation.
At this, Sammy spoke up, "So who’s Sailor Earth?"
Serena answered with just one word, "Molly."
