Armour of God Review

Armour of God is the movie that almost killed Jackie. If you have seen this movie, the outtakes show jackie falling from a tree, down 20 feet, and onto his head. It was the closest he has ever come to dying. The plot of this prequel to Operation Condor is that Jackie plays an adventurer for hire. Jackie's newest mission is to get all 5 peices of the Armour of the Gods. He is hired by a rich collector, who would pay thousands of dollars for each peice. The cult that has the other 3 peices learnes of this, and try to get Jackie to get the other peices of Armour from the collector. To get Jackie to do this, they kidnap Jackie's old girlfriend, who is now the fiance to his ex best friend. His old friend, played by Alan Tam, begs Jackie to save her. Jackie ends up accepting, and he needs to save the day, and get the armour for the collector. Armour of God is an OK movie, one of its major flaws is that whenever the action lets up, the movie becomes extremely boring at parts. However, of course when the action gets back, the movie lights up, and actually becomes enjoyable. Also, jackie really risked his life making this movie, and he deserves a great amount of credit. So I give Armour of God 8 out of 10 stars.
