The Chief Instructor at NJKS is Terry Pierce (Nana Dan [7th degree Black Belt] in Ki-Aikido, Jo Den in Ki Development as well as Associate Ki Lecturer).

Pierce has practiced Aikido and Ki since 1959, under, among others, Danza, Yamada, Maruyama, Imaizumi and Tohei Sensei, in New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York and Japan.  For a bigger bio on Pierce Sensei.

The Assistant/Hell Dojo Instructor at NJKS is Bill Orwat (San Dan [3rd degree Black Belt], Chu Den).

He studied with Dr. Onishi (Aikikai) for 2 years, then progressed to Ki Society and has studied with Pierce Sensei since 1980. 

Orwat is the proprietor of "Hell Dojo" and as such, has prepared numerous Sho Dan for NJKS, Philadelphia Ki Society and other dojo.

The Outreach Program Instructor at NJKS is Bengt Lindblad (Sho Dan [1st degree Black Belt], Sho Den).

He has studied Aikido since 1978.  First in Sweden with Aikikai under Ichimura and Ferger Sensei, then with Ki No Kenkyukai under Yoshigasaki and Norberg Sensei; since moving to the United States in 1986 with Terry Pierce Sensei. 

Lindblad has taught Ki-Aikido at Temple University in Ambler, PA, and is currently teaching a class at the West Chester, PA YMCA together with Orwat.

As an NRA certified firearms instructor, Lindblad applies Ki and Aikido principles to the Basic Pistol and Personal Protection programs at the Lower Providence Rod & Gun Club in Audubon, PA, where he also practices Pistol Do.  Although no "belts" are given, he humbly estimates himself to be a "brown belt" in this modern martial art.
