1. when did godstomper start?

p- godstomper originally started in 1991 as experimental two man grind unit we had like boombox demos and we sounded like a really bad version of old carcass .

2. and in this time how successful have you been in stomping god?

p- we have succeed pretty well thou my house was almost destroyed by a tornado that struck sunnyvale last may of 98 , thou a orange tree was pulled down . it was a sign , dont fuck me.

3. did your brother already play drums when godstomper started or did you out of neccesity , shove a pair of drumsticks in his hands and commnd "play"?

p- danny already knew how to play drums even before godstomper started , his drumming has improved ever since the band started up again in 1996.

4 . is it true that brothers that play together,stay together?

p- no . most of the time they wanna kill each other because of stupid trivial shit like fame , drugs and women , but with me and dan we get along pretty well .

5. who would your dream split be with and what format?

p- for me it would be 1985 anthrax spreading the disease era stuff on tape and vinyl , dannys would be bjork and atari teenage riot on cd format .

6. is b.c.rich the only way?

p-yes it is. iam a believer now .

7. describe your music

p- getting hit by a nuclear explosion .

8. what do you hope to accomplish with your band other than stomping god?

p- getting rid of all this emo and pop infested music and bringing back extreme music in all its sonic glory to a new generation.

9. do you think the internet is killing hardcore?

p- no, instead of killing tree's to communicate with letters you can send a quick e-mail, it connects people alot easier.

10.are you a 2 piece for glamorous image or out of neccesity?

P- We do it out of necessity , besides guitar players cant keep up with us .

11. do you play grindcore for the kids or for the fucking system?

p- i play grINDCORE FOR MYSELF AND IF ANYONE LIKES IT THATS COOL .

12.are you cool with homosexuals and black people?

P-im down with people who are cool and respectable , it could be anyone .

13.are you scared of the year 2000?

p-the world will be the same shithole that it was after that clock strikes so im not scared but if a nuclear missle is accidently fired ill be drinking it up in a bar.

14. what would you think if god started a band called "two man grindcorestomper? you wouldn't like that very much would you sonny?

p-actually i would be really flattered that the all knowning one wanted to start band to destroy our band , guess who would win?

p- im a housecleaner.

p- outlaw disco and make sure the bus runs on time .

p- no its not anymore evryone hates it now thats why we still call ourselves powerviolence .

people i meet at shows , from letters , online , bands etc . you all rule .
