I was about to put this in the ‘kinda sorta’ section because this is a series where I can see the romance, but I don’t particularly want to indulge in it. However, I put it under this section because there is a pairing I do enjoy and wouldn’t mind seeing it develop more.
Roger/Dorothy: These two are cute. This is another couple I’ve fallen pretty hard for. For one thing, it’s amusing to watch Roger squirm when Dorothy asks him questions about love and such. And while these two may bicker, there is a lot of genuine affection going on which leads to some wonderful understanding. Where they have “come to terms”. I love that. It’s not –insert random beauty- and see the sexual attraction happening. That’s why the Roger/Angel scene of season two took me from intense anger to utter happiness. It’s just the small things that can worm the way into one’s mind and/or heart. My favorite moment came during season two when, during the funny Beck episode, Roger casually puts his hand on Dorothy’s shoulder. There was nothing that prompted that action. It made my heart go pitter-patter. Of course, I nearly did a touchdown dance of joy when Roger answered Dorothy’s question about meeting under different circumstances and falling in love. Yeah, I like this pairing.
