SHOOTING STAR LOVE
CHAPTER 1 : SECOND THOUGHTS
"Usagi? Usagi? Usagi!" Chibiusa's cries broke Usagi's silence as she
was staring out her bedroom window.
Usagi and Chibiusa were in Usagi's room, one lazy Friday
afternoon. Usagi was restless, staring out her window on her bed with books
and losseleaf papers surrounding her. Chibiusa sat on the floor working on
her math homework in the middle of Usagi's room.
Time had passed since the goodbye's said from the Starlights.....3 years
to be exact. Usagi was in her third year of highschool, surprisingly enough.
Chibiusa was in 6th grade, and returned from the future to hang with Usagi
and the gang.
"Um........what was that, Chibiusa?" Usagi asked, sliding
over Chibiusa's shoulder. "Help me with this problem! It's extra hard, and
since you've managed to keep a few undamaged brain cells to get you to third
year, I hope you can help!" Usagi made a whimsical expression. She looked
over the problem and wrote in out in just 2 minutes.
"Wow! You've actually got the hang of it! Thanks!" Chibiusa squealed.
Usagi laughed and laid her head down on her bed, staring up towards the
ceiling. "Usagi?" Usagi, what's wrong?"
Usagi stared up and sighed heavilly. She closed her eyes as sweet
memories invaded her mind.
Seiya: From this point there is no admittance!
Usagi: I'm sorry! I didn't mean it...well, rather....I just want to
see
Alice...from close by....
Usagi could remember every single word of that moment.....that
encounter with a very close friend.
Seiya: I guess u don't remember!
Usagi: Well, did I meet u somewhere?
Seiya: You don't recognize me??
Usagi: No.
Seiya: I guess I'm not as popular as I thought!
Usagi: Oh I got it! A new way of approaching girls! I have a
boyfriend
who promised his future to me!
That made Usagi silent.......it had been a while since Mamoru had
been in New York, America studing ancient physics. It had been 2 years since
they defeated Galaxia. She wrote him 16 letters in 2 weeks, and got one
response.....but it was so terse...it made her worried and dissapointed.
Dear Usagi,
Studing Physics is going great! I'll be back
in 2 months. I'll be really busy...can't write
much! Love to
Chibiusa and everyone! Bye!

Usagi was relieved that he was okay, but concerned that he
wasn't worried for her or sending his love to her neither. But on second
thought, Seiya.......
Seiya: Funny girl!
Usagi: What! Your rude! From this point no admittance
except on
buisness!
Seiya: I'm here on buisness! See you, Odango!
"How I've missed that!" Usagi proclaimed out loud. "Missed what,
Usagi?" Chibiusa questioned, now sitting across from Usagi on her bed. "I've
missed Seiya, calling me, Odango!"
"Oh....What was he like...?" Chibiusa asked curiously. Usagi paused and
laughed uncontrollably. "Certin GIRLISH things...balck hair and
ponytail....deep gentl;e blue eyes...and...." Usagi paused and looked at
Chibiusa's shocked face.
"But he was only a friend!" Nothing serious!" Chibiusa
smiled and stared to walk out. "I'm sure I'll meet him........someday!" She
winked and left the room.
Usagi smiled back and peered at her pictures on her mantle. Her pictures
of the outer senshi in front of Crown's, Minako and herself w/ Artemis and
Luna, Makoto, Rei and Ami sitting on a bench with ice cream, a picture of
Mamoru and herself, Chibiusa and Chibi Chibi, old pictures of Molly and
Melvin, the cats , Luna, Dioana and Artemis and.....a picture of Seiya. Of
course, she had seperate pictures of Taiki, Yaten and Kauyga...but she mostly
stared at Seiya.
Usagi thought to herself. "Will I ever see you again? Why do I
miss you so? Why is Chibiusa so enticed with meeting you? I have Mamoru,
but......on second thought..........
