Coda: Perfect Symphony
Kenji: What was his name again?
Usagi: Dad, I didn't tell you his name. Don't try to trick me. I'm not as
stupid as you think!
Ikuko: Usagi, why don't you tell us?
Usagi: You'll see them tonight anyway. Besides, you wouldn't believe it even if
I told you.
Kenji, Ikuko, and Shingo look at each other. The Tsukino family is having their
breakfast. It
seems her family doesn't know Seiya is Usagi's boyfriend yet. Luckily, Kenji is
quite calm now.
He's not as angry as in the beginning. Later in the evening...
Seiya: Taiki! Taiki!
Taiki: What?
Taiki walks into Seiya's bedroom. Seiya is in his room with a pair of black
jeans and a red
T-shirt with no sleeves on. He's looking at the clothes on the bed.
Seiya: Taiki, what do you think I should wear?
Taiki (chuckles): Seiya, don't be so nervous! You look like a girl, picking a
nice dress to
meet your boyfriend!
Seiya (angrily): Taiki!!! You don't want to help then at least please fool
around!
Taiki: Okay! Okay! Calm down! Actually, the shirt and jean on you are great.
Why don't you just
wear those?
Seiya: Really? But I think I should wear something a little more formal and
serious.
Yaten (laughing): Formal and serious??? Ha...ha... YOU??? Ha...ha...
Seiya (very angry, with evil face, eyes, and smoke): Yaten!!!!!
Yaten: Ha...
Seiya: Yaten!!!
Seiya tries to punch Yaten but Taiki stops him.
Taiki: Seiya, don't mind him. Quickily pick what you want to wear if you don't
want to be late.
Seiya (downcast): I don't know what to wear. The only thing I know is the first
sight is very
important and I don't want to screw it up.
Taiki: Actually, I understand. But I believe the way you show your confident
would be more
important. You don't need to wear too formal. It'll look strange on you. You're
not that kind of
person. You should pick something that can show your personality to wear.
Seiya: Um...
Finally, Seiya picks a nice cowboy suit - light blue T-shirt inside, dark blue
jacket, dark blue
jeans, and black short boots. It makes him look wild and sexy. (Author's Note:

All agree? Yeah!!! ^_^)
Seiya: Okay, that should do it.
Taiki (smiling): Yeah.
At the same, Usagi's thinking about what to wear actually.
Usagi: Luna, what do you think I should wear?
Luna: I don't understand you. You're just going to have dinner at home. Seiya
is definitely not
going to give you up because of what you wear. So what are you worrying about?
Usagi: I just want to look good in front of Seiya-chan. Come to think of it.
That should be the
way a relationship should be. I had never worried about stuff like that when I
was with
Mamoru-san. It was like routine. I was too casual and too comfortable. I didn't
have the same
kind of excitement and romantic feelings as I'm with Seiya-chan now.
Luna: Okay, don't think about that anymore. That's the past.
Usagi: Yeah. Oh! I know what I should wear!
Usagi picks out something from the drawer. It's a cowboy suit - dark blue jacket
and dark blue
cowboy skirt. Looks like it's a pair with what Seiya's wearing!
Luna: Where and when did you buy that? I haven't seen it before.
Usagi: Seiya-chan and I bought this in the mall the week before. Okay, I'll put
on a light
purple T-shirt under it.
Suddenly, the bell rings.
Usagi: Oh, that's Seiya-chan! I must be quick!
Usagi quickily puts on the cloths and runs out of the room. When she's running
down the stairs,
she hears...
Ikuko (surprisedly)): Oh I can't believe it! It's you guys! Why are you guys
here?
Unfortunately, we're going to have dinner with my future son-in-law tonight.
Otherwise I'll ask
you to stay for dinner.
Kenji: I'm a reporter. Would you mind if I have an interview with you guys some
other day?
Usagi's amused to see Three Lights standing at the door and her family is
surrounding them,
especially when she sees Seiya's red face, caused by Ikuko's words - "future
son-in-law".
Slowly, she moves to stand beside Seiya and kisses his face in front of six
wided eyes.
Usagi (smiling sweetly): You're late.
Seiya (smiles back with red cheek and kisses her back): I don't think so.
Usagi (turns to her family): Dad, mom, this is Seiya Kou, my boyfriend. These
are Yaten Kou and
Taiki Kou. His friends. This is my dad - Tsukino kenji, my mom - Tsukino Ikuko,
and
my brother - Tsukino Shingo.
The three of them can't believe what they see. Finally, Shingo recovers first.
Shingo: Usagi, please tell me you just asked for a favour from your
ex-classmate.
Before Usagi speaks a word, Seiya speaks first.
Seiya (smiling): Shingo-kun, I AM your sister's boyfriend.
The three of them are shocked again. But this time they recover fast.
Ikuko: Oh don't stand here. Please come in.
They sit down in the living room. They look at each other. For quite a long
time, no one speaks.
Then Seiya breaks the ice.
Seiya (red cheek, nervously): Kenji-san, Ikuko-san, I... (deep breath) I came
here tonight to
ask for your daughter's hand. You may think we're too young for this, especially
me. But I
promise you I won't ask O... Usagi-chan to stay at home and be a good housewife.
She can still
go to school, university, work, etc. She can do whatever she wants to do. I
won't control her.
About me, I have a job that I can support a family. I'm studying in university
and I can get a
degree very soon. I'm not just a singer with no academic knowledge. You don't
need to worry
about that "a star has no long work life" thing. I decide software sometimes and
those money is
enough to support the marriage of me and Usagi-chan. And the most important
thing is: I love
her. I want her to be happy more than anything in the world. That's the most
important thing in
my life. I sincerely ask for her hand. Please?
Usaig is very touch and looks at Seiya with tears. Then she kisses him with very
red cheek.
Usagi (whispers into Seiya's ear): Thanks Seiya-chan. I love you.
Seiya (whispers into Usagi ear): I love you too, Odango.
Usagi (turns to smile to Kenji and Ikuko): Dad, mom, please?
Kenji and Ikuko see that and feel their love.
Ikuko: Of course, I said from the moment they walked in: he's my future
son-in-law!
Usagi: Thanks mom. Dad?
Kenji (nods smilingly): Alright.
Usagi and Seiya (hugs together while jumps up): Yahoo!
