True Love Sometimes you wish upon a star And hope that wish comes true. If I had one wish to wish I wish that wish were you For I know that I will always smile Whenever you're around You make my heart go crazy It flutters, leaps, and bounds You banish all my deepest worries All which make me fret. It's all the warmth from your kind heart That lets me forget Sometimes it is hard to share my thoughts Your great understanding makes it easy. When you gaze deep in my eyes You make my stomach so very queasy With you I feel at one with myself My life finally has meaning. If you were to go, I'd make you stay, With all my begging, pleading At time we have our disagreements And more are still to come But I want to be right there beside you To work them out one by one We have changed each other's lives, day by day Maybe eventually year by year I hope always to my heart That you will remain this dear There are more than two words That can explain the above The best two words are the words True Love

List of Poems

Everytime I See You Everytime I see you I wonder what to say I'd like to say "I love you" But you don't feel that way I'd give anything to go back To the way things used to be where my heart belonged to you And yours belonged to me If you knew the way I felt I wonder what you'd do Would you laugh, and walk away Or would you say " I love you too"? I know that I made a mistake And I regret it everyday But we were meant to be together Can you find forgiveness Some how, some way? You're my soulmate, the one I need How can I go on without you? If I knew what you were thinking When you look at me Is a friend or an old love Really all you see? Or is it possible that you just might Still feel "that way"? And that there might be a chance For us, some how, some way?

List of Poems

I Miss You I walk alone towards home at night Once or twice, I'm filled with fright It's not as good as it used to be Back in those days when you walked with me I miss you like crazy, I miss you so much I miss the way I felt by your touch Even thought we've been apart for so long My love for you still keeps going strong I wish someday, I could be with you once more For you are the one I've been waiting for It hurts me to realize that you're gone forever But I know someday we'll meet again together Why did you have to go so fast? For the first kiss you gave me was the last No night has passed that I haven't cried For I haven't been the same since the day you died

List of Poems

Perhaps I Should Perhaps I should thank you for turning my world upside down For once I was thankful for the love that we had found Perhaps I should be indebted for the things that you have taught That over time things can change, and not be what I thought You taught me how to love but you showed me how to hate A lonely black hole my heart demonstrates I am so very lifeless And feel so very cold I was severly punished if I didn't do as I was told Well now you're stuck with me my sould you did create You might have taught me how to love but also how to hate

List of Poems

Remember Remember the mountain Remember the tree Remember the time it was you and me Remember the walls down natures trails Leading us to only what time would tell Remember the walks Shopping at the mall Always there to catch you Incase you fall Remember the drives and long hours talking Remember the planning With never any balking Remember the dinner when you said "I love you" A very special time For me and you Remember the time I looked in your eyes I saw the love That never ever dies Remember the time that you said yes To the question of love and bliss So what happened to our lvoe That kept us so close I wish I knew, I wish I knew Remember me, because I remember you.

List of Poems

You Never Knew I never knew what love was Until the day I met you We went through a lot together And our love grew and grew It took awhile to understand What you truly mean to me And now that we've broken up It's really made me see I never knew I could love someone The way that I loved you And these feelings that I have for you I'm sure you never knew If you would have known Maybe there would be things still left to say Cause this pain that I feel right now Will never go away

The Perfect Recipe God made the perfect recipe When he made you my love For all the right ingredients Were sent from up above A dash of sweetness A pinch of fun A cup of love, then you were done He simply chose to bless me too By giving me a friend like you The Perfect Recipe

Precious Lives Did you think it couldn’t happen? Did you think it wasn’t real? You only though of fun and games, as you got behind the wheel. You know that it was stupid, you didn’t stop to think. You got into the car that night, you’d had to much to drink. You didn’t even see the tree. You were going much to fast. You drew in a sharp breath, a breath that was your last. Three precious lives were lost that night. You weren’t the first to die We think about you lovingly as each day passes by. This poem is a warning to each and everyone. The results of drunken driving can never be undone.

Death of the Innocent You told me not to drink, Mom, so I drank soda instead. I really felt proud inside, Mom, the way you said I would. I didn’t drink and drive, Mom, even though the others said I should. I know I did the right thing, Mom, I know you are always right. Now the party is finally ending, Mom, everyone is driving out of sight. As I got into my car, Mom, I knew I’d get home in one piece. Because of the way you raised me, so responsible and sweet. I started to drive away, Mom, but as I pulled out onto the road the other car didn’t see me, Mom, and hit me like a load As I lay there on the pavement, Mom, I hear the policeman say the other guy is drunk, Mom, and now I’m the one who will pay I’m lying here dying, Mom, I wish you’d get here soon. How could this happen to me, Mom? My life just burst like a balloon. There is blood all around me, Mom, and most of it is mine. I hear the medic say, Mom I’ll die in a short time. I just want to tell you, Mom, I swear I didn’t drink. It was the others, Mom. The others didn’t think he was probably at the same party as I The only difference is, he drank, and I will die Why do people drink, Mom? It can ruin your whole life. I’m feeling sharp pains now. Pains just like a knife. The guy who hit me is walking, Mom, and I don’t think it’s fair. I’m lying here dying and all he can do is stare. Tell my brother not to cry, Mom. Tell Daddy to be brave. And when I go to heave, Mom, put "Daddy’s girl" on my grave. Someone should have told him, Mom, not to drink and drive. If only they had told him, Mom, I would still be alive. My breath is getting shorter, Mom, I’m becoming very scared. Please don’t cry for me, Mom. When I needed you, you were always there. I have one last question, Mom, before I say goodbye. I didn’t drink and drive, so why am I the one to die?

Smile She smiled at a sorrowful stranger. The smile seemed to make him feel better. He remembered past kindnesses of a friend and wrote him a thank-you letter. The friend was so pleased with the thank-you that he left a large tip after lunch. The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip, bet the whole thing on a hunch. The next day she picked up her winnings, and gave part to a man on the street. The man on the street was grateful; for two days he'd had nothing to eat. After he finished his dinner, he left for his small dingy room. He didn't know at that moment that he might be facing his doom.) On the way he picked up a shivering puppy and took him home to get warm. The puppy was very grateful to be out of the storm. That night the house caught on fire. The puppy barked the alarm. He barked 'til he woke the whole household and saved everybody from harm. One of the boys that he rescued grew up to be the President. All this because of a simple smile that hadn't cost a cent.
