Today?~

Geez, it's been- what?- 3-4 years since I updated this?

Current Obsessions (In no particular order...)
1). Hokuto no Ken- I've been collecting the tankoubon lately, and damn, I forgot how good this series is. Now I just need to wait until sasuga books sends my the last three volumes.
2). Final Fantasy IV Advance- An awesome game with some awesome additions. The extra dungeons are simply a lot of fun.
3). Final Fantasy VI Advance- I'm playing through it right now. Only got a few of the extras so far (like Leviathan), but it's still a wonderful visit to a game I cherished as a kid.
4). End of the MA program- I'm done! (for a while...)
5). TotL- I'm almost finished. 20 more pages, tops? Maybe 10.
6). Giant Robo- ... for $10. All of it. It'll be the first time I've seen the show in its entirety.
7). Wheel of Time- It's ending. FINALLY. :D My wishes go out to Robert Jordan, who is battling sickness right now.
8). Usagi Yojimbo- My friend has been lending me a lot of American comics lately, and man. I originally stopped reading them around the "Age of Apocolypse" because everything got downright dull/stupid. However, Usagi is great stuff.
9). Powers- This was also lent to me, and I need to buy some for myself. The art looked kind of lame at first (very new "Batman: The animated series" minimal), but the stories and characters are phenomenal. No punches are pulled here. Very gritty. Very entertaining.
10). Steel Ball Run- Araki Hirohiko tried to get away from the concepts of "stands" and "effeminate but not-quite-gay men" in his newest work, Steel Ball Run, which is claimed not to be Jojo.. Eventually, he gave up and said it was Jojo. :3

Current Hated Things (In no particular order...)
1). Final Fantasy IV Advance music cues- So why can they add so much great stuff to the game and yet screw up the music cues? -_-;
2). Final Fantasy VI Advance music cues- Same as above, but in VI they showed that they COULD do fade out techniques to help fix the problems. They just didn't use they correctly.
3). Heroes- Great concept, some great execution, but shitty direction killed it for me in the end. Badly developed/annoying characters take up too much screen time. It they would cut off the fat, it might be passable.
4). 20th Century Boys- The ending was not what I expected. It makes more sense the more I read it, but eh. I had hoped for more.
5). Being sick- I hate you, cold.
6). Work- It's a job, but DAMN. I need to get another one.
7). Being sick at work- The worst of both worlds...
8). My department- They're still pulling bullshit and lies out of their asses to fling at foreigners. and they're supposed to be the number 1 in terms of teaching Japanese language. -_-;
9). George R.R. Martin- NOBODY is likable in his books. Well, there was one dude, but he died. Oops. He simply makes everybody else untolerable pricks, so I've simply stopped reading.
10). One Piece- I tried to pick it up again. It was so boring I couldn't finish the book.

Currently Reading...
