One day, I realized how sad I really was. One day, I looked at everything I had done and might possibly do in the future and felt despair because I knew it was not what I wanted. There was a time in my life where I truly thought I should had died and nobody would have cared at all. There was a time when I thought I had fallen as far as one could ever go without experiencing true insanity. However, some things in life are more important than the truth. And finding that out was one of the hardest things I've ever done...
In the year of 1999, I wrote a story that highly reflected a time in my life when I thought that I had finally lost every chance I had to ever be happy again. The following is not a happy story, but it is true in the characters representation of my own life and it was a very important lesson that I would have never learned if not for one of my best friends. It is rough in its execution, but I think that if you read through until the end, maybe you'll see that this story is not all about angst and hatred, but rather about something much more important that every human being should realize in order to live.
