Welcome to the Anime Review. My little friend Mokona will assist me in this endeavor. The amount of Mokona's beside the review is how well Mokona paid attention to the anime. Here is a small guide to help:

0: Left during the trailers. 5: Stayed to watch the copyright (after the credits).

FINAL FANTASY: LEGEND OF THE CRYSTALS

Final Fantasy: Legend of the CrystalsThis laughter packed, two volume, four episode adventure based off the RPG is well worth the watch!! Full of familiar voices (if you have seen Tenchi that is),and directed by Rin Taro ('nuff said!). I laughed very hard though the entire thing. The only problem I had was the fact that the enemy spoke english, only dubbed backwards (I wonder if in the subbed version they speak backwards Japanese?). They could have been a little more creative. Still, listening to backwards english can be very funny sometimes, or else my friends and I really need to get out more. Who else out there thought "Alright anime babes in skimpy leather outfits! Pirates no less."? Then the scene finally arrives and...well, let's say that other than Rouge..., "BEEFCAKE!!"

Anyways brief rundown: You follow Linaly and Prettz as they try to keep the crystal of the wind from the evil clutches of the enemy. (Hey! You want to know names? Then go out and rent the tapes!) Mishap and mayhem follow them everywhere even a little ghost named Mid (pronounced Mead). In this anime the big bad guy doesn't want to take over the world but become the "Deathgyunos" or lord of Oblivion, original "The Lord of Nothing?" Wow I want to be that too! So, long story short things happen, good and bad. They beat the bad guy, everyone lives happily ever after.. except the badguy.

RUIN EXPLORERS

Ruin Explorers Sorry no box art, yet. On with the review anyway! If you have ever played AD&D or any other RPG game, and have been involved in a dungeon crawl. Then this show is for you! Covering four volumes, two episodes per tape, this movie is every treasure hunt go wrong. It starts off simple enough almost like a serious show might, then the music changes to a cute little ditty and then the laughs start. Great character personalities and interaction.
