A Poem for Kakyou
The Setting Moon at Dawn

My heart shattered
My limbs numbed
Yet I see, I feel and I crave
In my dreams

Long passed away are
The days of sunshine and breezes
In an imaginary realm
I sat beside the shore
Hopelessly waiting
For time stopped
And my life ceased
When you were not there
In my world

A bird came to me one day
Her voice and sweetness
Scented the air
Her doom I knew
But I could save her not
Dead she became
As I had foreseen
In my dreams

What good could a dream seer be?
I could see the future
My words became politics
My dreams a priceless treasure
To those who wished to own
But I could not save
Even you
In our world

I suffer now from living
And death seems inviting
Yet, the invitation didn't arrive
I even lost my strength to die
There I lie
In a cold web of wires and
Shameful drapery
Refuse to see the real madness
I seek refuge
In my dreams

I fancy a realm of our past
Hoping it could forever last
Trespassing the future gates
I wish we could escape our fates
Alas! You are nowhere found
But I am still helplessly bound
To this world

Now, I place myself
In the hands of "God's Might"
Wishing that He could grant my wish
To die with the soon-coming
End of the world
"The future has not yet been decided."
I hope the bird's words were right
I wish the end would come sooner
'Til then I will wait
In my endless dreams.
