Queen Beryl is the ruler of the Negaverse in the first season (Sailor Moon). She tries to collect energy from humans to release Queen Metalia.  With the Queen's powers, she would become capable of conquering Earth and its universe.  Queen Beryl was also responsible for the attack on the Moon Kingdom, which in turn forced Queen Serenity to send her daughter and the power of the Sailor Senshi to Earth.  Beryl was sealed inside the power of the crystal but, later awakened and attacked earth.  Beryl used her 4 generals as her weapons.  Her goals were to realease Queen Metalia, kill Sailor Moon, rule with Prince Endymion at her side, and to have the crystal.  Too bad for her that Sailor Moon kicked her butt and she was Moon Dusted!!!
