Welcome to Harajuku!

This is possibly the hands-down most bizarre spot in Tokyo. Alongside the station is a bridge that fills up every Sunday and sometimes Saturday (when these were taken), with youngs lads and lasses showing off their plumage. I kindly refer to them as the freaks. Most are dressed as members of  J-pop bands (specifically Malice Mizer, Shazna, and Penicillin). Then there's the fascists. I also threw in the Jesus guy (even here, we can't escape them), and a wedding taking place in the shrine behind the station. Oh, and the punks were on the train to Harajuku. My friend, Kari, started getting all mushy over the "CUTE!" Japanese punks. Still haven't been around when the greasers do their street dancing as Dave Berry mentioned. Working on it...
