Single window System at Police Commissionerate
The Pune Police Commissionerate has launched a single window system. Application from citizens regarding refusal to register offences, delay in handling cases, complaints against police officers and staff, among others can be submitted at this window at the commissionerate. The applicants will be issued tokens mentioning when their work would be completed. At the end of the period mentioned, the applicant would be given a written reply about the status of his or her application. If the applicant feels that the application has not been dealt with a satisfactory manner or not processed in the given period at all, he or she can meet senior police officials.

Time limit for processing

  1. Application for license to posses firearm: one month
  2. No-objection certificate to hotels: one month
  3. Application for organising entertainment programs: two days
  4. Character verification: 15 days
