A.J.'s Homepage A.J. in London

Thursday ... the last day of me being a student in London. Before the final lesson was gonna take place, I went to Play 2 Win on Oxford Street and discovered a brand new machine - again. But this time they exchanged the old coin machine with a new one which also had 2-pound-coins inside !!! I immediately got to know how these machines worked and won one or two 1-pound-coins and finally had been a winner again - I made it, it's possible ! Then I went to class. We had our pronunciation contest and it was decided that 4 of us - Hui, Sonja, Hisako and me - were the best. Helen had one (eatable) prize and wanted to have only 2 winners. So then it was decided that there was gonna be one winner from Europe, one from Asia. Hisako won for Asia and very luckily and surprisingly me for Europe - I really didn't expect me to win as I was sure that a class full of females would vote for the female. Yeeha. After the class we were just sitting and chatting there around a table with all the food on it. Hui had a Chinese wine which was tasting like (bad) medicine - urgh. It was cool. Marianne (Marian ?!?) from Denmark also told me that she was working at Roskilde (this year ... or also the years before ? Can't recall for sure), so she was about to check out the music for free. The only person from Denmark I met in London and she was involved in something big like Roskilde - London is so small ! You met everyone who is of some interest, you can't avoid that ! After the class there was a party for the English Language students at Regents Street at the Deep End - free wine and orange juice. I met the people from my old class there and also Kohei. It was some nice chatting, everyone very relaxed - it was really nice, the whole athmosphere. After that I went to Play 2 Win again (had nothing else to do anymore anyway). The new machine was really fun playing and as I had won back everything and I was to leave the next day, I simply played to have some fun and lost some money again, but in between won more 2-pound-coins, which was a lot of fun. If I had more time I really could make some good money on that machine. It's a pain in the ass I'm leaving just now ! When I returned to the hostel Michele was there again. He told me he was gonna leave back to Milano tomorrow next day as well ! Plus he was also gonna leave at Stansted and about the same time as me. So he thought we were to meet at the airport, I was doubting it, as airports are not really small, y'know ? Lights totally out ...
Money spent: £ 3.19 (total: £ 1154.29) (money lost: £ 12.71 - total lost: £ 13.49)
