The Life of a 24 year-old

Q: What do you think life is?
Issei: I think life is like a dream, or it can be like a journey. And each of us is like a traveller on this journey. This journey will only end when we die, each person must travel this journey alone. Although we will meet many different kinds of people along the way, in the end, they are only passers-by or companions. Ultimately, the only person that can help you is yourself. This journey is not an easy one, sometimes you have to go the way or do things you don't want to do, but this is all a part of life. You are responsible for the choices you yourself made.
Q: I'm surprised that you have such big ideas about life!
Issei: yes, eversince i was young, i like to think about this, think about that, especially when i'm by myself. so my brain hasn't rested for a moment. and life is something i often think about.
Q: Then do you believe in life after death?
Issei: Let's hope there is!
Q: Why?
Issei: I believe in Buddhism, so i'm familiar with this idea of having life after death. if you think about it, if there isn't a life after we die, we might never see each other again! I'm someone who don't want to forget about all the people i meet in this life. So if we're friends in this life, i hope we can meet again in the next life.
Q: Then you must believe in recarnation
Issei: well, if i already believe in life after death, of course i believe in recarnation.
Q: Have you thought about what will actually happen?
issei: I've thought about it [laugh]. actually i've seen a foreign film once, and in the film there is a group of people waiting inline to recarnate. In my mind, that is what will happen, just like waiting in line for a bus. It should be fun [laugh].
Q: I wonder if it's really going to be as you imagine [laugh]
issei: [laugh] i think it's good to think this way. at least you can see death as only an end of one journey, so it's not as scary as we normally think. One journey ends, another one is waiting for you. isn't that good?
Q: What other strange things do you think about?
issei: umm..i would think that before our own human race, there was a higher civilization.
Q: can you explain that?
Issei: umm..if you think about it, the human race have only existed for 4000 years, and the times of the dinasaurs existed for 10000000, yet earth has existed for 400000000 years, then what happened on earth during those 300000000 years? why do we know nothing about it? althought there are no scientific evidence, but i often think, before our present human race existed, there existed another human race, but they have gone into extinction, and after 100000000 years, there are again organisms on this planet, like dinasaurs, insects, etc, and then us.[note i'm not 100% sure if i translated the no. of years correctly]
Q: why did the first human race go into extinction?
Issei: It's just like our own race, they had wars and everything and that destroyed most of the environment, and eventually it destroyed the humans too.
[note: i didn't translate this, but issei believes there are life on other planets, and the following Q follows from that]
Q: Then do you think the aliens would invade us?
Issei: no, when i think that in the dark universe, earth is not alone, i am very happy! [laugh]
*** Recent Work
Q: your most recent album, "Pur" is out, so your wish is granted
. Issei: when the album came out, i was really happy. although most people know that i like acting, i have another passion and that is singing and playing in a band. I'm the kind of person who cannot survive without music, i don't really look like it, do i?
Q: No, i have that impression of you when i first met you. i heard you love your guitar very much.
Issei: I used to, but i tend to change, my newest love is the bass.
Q:What do you think of your newest album?
Issei: Ha...i think my singing style has improved alot [laugh] i'm not praising myself, really i really think that the songs are all really good. although my voice is a little strange, but i quite like it.
Q:you are not at all modest! [laugh]
Issei: [laugh] i'm only telling the truth! [laugh]
Q:then what do you think of your recent photo album?(think it's called Seijia)
issei:i think the photographer is great (from what i heard, the photographer is actually also Issei's GF) and all the pictures make me look very Kakkoii (cool) [laugh] really, and i chose all the outfits myself so it's very close to my personal style.
