Minako's Game Room

Heya! It's me, Minako! Well, y'all know how much I *love* spending time at the arcade and playing games! I'm the Queen of Fun! ^_^ So naturally I'd be presiding over Tenshi's Games section! ^_^

So far I've only found one game that is based on Sailormoon thanks to Daniel Gereg. (Go visit his page, SAILORMOON New Yedo, it's AWESOME!) He also has a Sailormoon-themed Solitare game on his downloads page as well. As I already have Solitare on my computer and I spend *way* too much time playing it, I decided to try the other game on his page. This is a Sailormoon Gameboy game, meaning that it looks like a Nintendo Gameboy screen. It also means you need a Gameboy emulator (a program) to play it on. For convinience, I've included it in the zip file with the game.

Ami's Instructions: (for Windows users) Unzip the boygame.zip file into a folder on your hard drive (any folder is fine). Sailorm.gb is the game file. To play, double click on Sailorm.gb. A dialog box should pop up asking you what program you want to use to open this file because it is of unknown file format. Click on the browse button. Choose the folder into which you unzipped the Boygame.zip file. There should be three *.exe programs. Vgb-dos.exe and Vgb-dbg.exe are the emulators. Personally, I used Vgb-dos.exe because it comes with instructions (see Vgb-dos.txt). Double click on Vgb-dos.exe and off you go! Er...I *do* recommend reading the *.txt file first!

Sailormoon Gameboy Game!

This is a zip file containing both the gameboy emulator and the game itself. Unzip using WINZIP. Don't have it? Go to http://www.winzip.com and download it.

Usagi's Opinion: Wow! A game based on me! ^_^ Well, not all me... It is 4 games in one, but due to not reading instructions, I only know how to play one of the games. The one, I *did* play was quite fun, if you don't mind the "creamed spinach colour" (I think that's how the marketers of the Sega Gamegear put it...) of the screen and the kinda rudimentary graphics. ^_^ The adventure game stars the five Inner Senshi (you get to pick...I recommend myself, of course...) versus the bad guys from Sailormoon R. It's basically a Mario Bros. (the first one) kind of game, but it's my choice of diversion when it comes to essay procrastination! ^_^

Crystal Key! Take me BACK to the Page of Miscellany!
