Rei's Music Room

Hello! Rei here with a little bit of musical entertainment for y'all! ^_^

A little while ago, on an MP3 hunt, I found a song by Central Dogma called "Sailor Moon Terror Song." This got me thinking about all the different remixes of Sailormoon-related music out there on the web. So I was inspired to create this Remix Room. I didn't want to have a straightforward list of songs for you like every other page, so here I've tried to provide some of the more unique music of Sailormoon. Like I said before, this usually means remixes but I'm also going to include the theme songs from different countries. Songs here will be in all formats, so check the extension before downloading. Happy listening! ^_^

Ami's Instructions: There really aren't any special instructions here...For *.mp3 files, you need an MP3 player, the most popular of which is Winamp, go here to get it, but the latest versions of Windows Media Player works just fine. For *.ra files, RealAudio is helpful, but again, Windows Media Player will do the job. For *.mid files, whatever player you've got will work. ^_^ For those of you who don't know, midis are smallest in size and are instrumental, computer generated music (well, it sounds very computerized/synthesized ^_^ ). RealAudio are the mid-sized files with tape or radio quality sound (there *are* words! ^_^ ) and MP3s are the largest files, ranging from 3-5 Mb, but with CD quality sound.

RealAudio

c-moon.ra

This is the Cantonese Sailormoon Theme song. I believe it was only used for the first 1 or 2 seasons and then they went back to the original Japanese theme songs (corresponding to the series of course... ^_^ ) This song is sung by three Hong Kong female pop singers, but I can't remember who they are right now (wanna tell me?) ^_^

Rei's Opinions: This is a peppy song that I find really cute. Because it's RA, the quality is not that good, but I still think it's worth listening to.

RealAudio

c-remix.ra

    This is a mix of several Cantonese songs, one of which is the Cantonese Sailormoon Theme. {can you tell Tenshi's nationality? ^_^ }

Setsuna's Opinions: Don't ask why I'm reviewing this song, because I don't know. I also don't know if this song is worth downloading considering the quality (it *is* RA) versus the amount of time the Theme is actually playing (about 10 secs at the beginning of the song). If you're Chinese, though, you might get a kick out of this.

Midi

moonmix.mid

    A really fast-paced, techno-like song.

Ami's Opinions: Hm...well, this is a peppy, bouncy song, guaranteed to get your toes tapping. I generally do not like the MIDI format because it is so synthesized sounding, but it really works with this remix. If you like the dance/techno genre of music, this one is great.

MP3

sailor_moon_terror_song.mp3

A really cool remix of the Japanese theme song and Sailormoon's catch phrases by Central Dogma.

Usagi's Opinions: I really like this song cuz it's so neat! It's not something to listen to repeatedly, but it's pretty fun for a once-in-a-while listen. ^_^ It's got a really heavy base and sounds a lot like guitar-rock for the first few bars, but I still think it's really cool. Definately worth the download.

MP3

sailor_moon_e_il_cristallo_del_cuore.mp3

One of the Italian Sailormoon theme songs.

Michiru's Opinions: This is a really nice theme song. It's dance-y, peppy, and I think it really captures the mood of the series. The chorus sounds a bit like "Spanish Lullaby" though... ^_^ But in any case, this is a great song. *sigh* Italian is such a beautiful language... So Download now!

MP3

sailor_moon_german_version.mp3

    The German Sailormoon theme song.

Haruka's Opinions: I don't really know what to say about this song... I neither like it nor dislike it. German's a rather subjective language though...not everyone finds it lyrical. Overall, however, it's a cute song. I'm not sorry I downloaded it, and I'm pretty positive you won't be either.

I got the RA files from Project Anime Online, and the MIDI file from...somewhere... ^_^ hee... wanna tell me where? The MP3 is from....somewhere...too. ^_^ sorry!
