Winamp Skins -- text only
Ami's Instructions: These skins are *.zip files, meaning that you'll need Winzip to unzip them. If you have Winamp, you should already have a Winamp folder in your hard drive directory. I recommend creating a subdirectory called Skins (for example, mine is C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins) and downloading the zip files directly into that folder. Well, once you've downloaded the zip file, unzip, and extract the archive into your WinAmp\Skins directory. Most of these should create their own directory, EX C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\MoonAmp - Love, automatically, but if not, just create a new folder (within the Skins folder) and move the archive into it. Okay, now to use your skins, open Winamp. Click on the upper left hand corner. This should pull down a menu. From there, choose Options, and then click on Skin Browser. A dialogue box should pop up with a big white empty space containing the word <none>. Click on the Set Skins Directory button and your typical Browse for Folder box should pop up. From here, choose your skins directory (EX C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins) and click okay. Now you're set!

The layout is a little awkward because of the display boxes and sliders running over my eyes. Otherwise, it is a nice skin. Again, like Ami-chan said above, the layout is a little awkward because the sliders run over our faces, but the colours help them blend into the background picture (same with the other buttons). Overall, I like it! |

Black Lady. Chibi Usa's Opinions: It's a little too busy, and I don't really like the song title display bar running through my head (even if it *is* me as Black Lady). I dunno...I don't really like it, but go with whatever suits you! Afterall, they do say that Black Lady is the best villain... ^_^ |

beautiful! ^_^) Rei's Opinons: I love this skin. This background image is one of my favourite pictures of myself. The colours are well-coordinated and the buttons and sliders are well-positioned. In fact, the volume and balance sliders are invisible so as not to mar my perfect features. ^_^ This is the perfect skin for the spring. It also goes great with easy-listening, soft rock, and pop songs. |

A blue skin with Sailormercury on the right. Ami's Opinions: Well, this skin has been accused of being boring, but I think it is okay. I rather like it. It's unassuming, like me. *shrugs and smiles* ^_^ I like the different shades of blue all melting together. It has a calming effect, like looking at a really clear blue sky or at perfectly calm water. |

Michiru skipped down to review the next skin and kinda left me here on my own...Um...Well, this is a good skin. I like it. I suspect the song slider will run over Sailorneptune's eyes, but that's only for a brief second during the course of a song. The balance slider, however, was cleverly hidden so as not to interfere with my face... ^_^ Well, like I said before, I like it. |

The picture of me is okay, but I don't know...I'm kind of wishy-washy about it. ^_^ At least my face remains relative uninterrupted. My favourite thing about this skin would have to be the buttons, because they are like popped out parts of the background image. I can't explain it, you'll have to see it to understand. ^_^ Overall, I think it's good. |

tears...aww.... ^_^ ) Usagi's Opinions: This is the perfect skin for Winamp users who like love songs! It is beautifully made with a good layout and an excellent sense of colour coordination! And despite the fact that I myself don't support the relationship depicted (ahem...sorry about that Seiya lovers, but Mamoru and I were destined to be together!) this is one of my favourite skins. |

It is hard on the eyes if you look at it for too long. ^_^ Of course you can always rest your eyes by looking at me... ^_~ But overall, this is skin is good, and it is so far, the only one of me out there, so I think it is worth downloading. |

Here's one for the Tux lovers! Usagi's Opinions: Tuxedo Kamen wa kakko ii desune!!! (Eng --> isn't he a hottie? ^_^ ) Too bad you can't see more of his face... ^_^ The overally image is a little too dark, but I suspect it's a "what could I do?" situation. So other than that, the colours are good, and the layout is neat. I like it! |

Golden Angel Usagi looking up at you with her right
hand by her face. Usagi's Opinions: Wow, what a beautiful skin! It's so flattering! ^_^ I look so wistful. This skin is perfect for playing R&B slow songs. The warm colours are very well-coordinated, especially the analyzer. The volume slider is an unobtrusive little bubble and the balance slider is hidden, so the only thing that runs over by face is the song slider, and that's only for a few seconds at the end of the song. I *definately* like this one, it is my second favourite after MoonAmp-Love. ^_^ |
