Michiru's Winamp Skins
Being one of the more musically inclined Senshi, as well as one of the more asthetically oriented, I thought I'd put *my* two cents into Tenshi's downloads section. ^_^
The new wave in music is the MP3 format. It is offers CD quality sound in a relatively small file (ok, that's a lie, most MP3s are 3-5 Mb, but compare the quality to the smaller RA files!) transferrable over the internet. While the latest versions of Windows' Media Player can play MP3s, Winamp is still one of the most popular MP3 players. To learn more about the technical stuff, go to the Winamp homepage at http://www.winamp.com. Here, I'm just providing ways of sprucing up the interface. This is what the typical Winamp interface looks like:
Kind of neat, but pretty boring in the end. Well, you can change the way this interface looks by downloading Winamp Skins. Skins are like clothes for the interface. The basic functional buttons stay the same, but the background image, button images, and slider images are different. Here I've put up my collection of Sailormoon themed Winamp Skins. I've only posted 5 because this is REALLY image-heavy as I have included a thumbnail of each skin. I'll be rotating them bi-weekly so you'll be able to see the thumbnails for each skin. For those of you who don't want to wait, here is a TEXT ONLY VIEW which lists *all* the skins.
Ami's Instructions: These skins are *.zip
files, meaning that you'll need Winzip to unzip them. If you have
Winamp, you should already have a Winamp folder in your hard
drive directory. I recommend creating a subdirectory called Skins
(for example, mine is C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins)
and downloading the zip files directly into that folder. Well,
once you've downloaded the zip file, unzip, and extract the
archive into your WinAmp\Skins directory. Most of these should
create their own directory, EX C:\Program
Files\Winamp\Skins\MoonAmp - Love, automatically, but if
not, just create a new folder (within the Skins folder) and move
the archive into it. Okay, now to use your skins, open Winamp.
Click on the upper left hand corner. This should pull down a
menu. From there, choose Options, and then click
on Skin Browser. A dialogue box should pop up
with a big white empty space containing the word < none >.
Click on the Set Skins Directory button and your
typical Browse for Folder box should pop up.
From here, choose your skins directory (EX C:\Program
Files\Winamp\Skins) and click okay. Now you're set!

I got these skins either on the Winamp homepage, Kezzerdrix's homepage, or Lefhark's hompage. If you are: a)really upset about this, b) wanting more credit, or c) just have something to say, then please e-mail me.
