Consumer Empowerment Centre
The Centre is being set up to empower the consumers by persuing education, wherebyconsumers will be educated about their rights and responcibilities, consumer laws and judgements through lectures, workshops and interactive sessions in schools, colleges and for the public.
The Centre will also assist consumers in making complaints. Incase of the complaints not being redressed within a reasonable period the Centre will intervene on the behalf of the consumer. It will also work for change in existing policies so that thy become more consumer friendly. A cell would also be set up at the earliest which would make an effort in solving complaints without going to court.
