HOLD ME

It begins with this couple at a park, walking around a fountain. The male
stops and gets on his knee and proposes to his girlfriend. She is completely
shocked, as she did not expect it. They have had problems in their
relationship and she believes that that is not the answer. On the other hand
he is completely and utterly in love with her. He believes she is his
soulmate. He only wishes that she could see it that way.
She walks away and leaves him with his question unanswered. She needs some
time to think.
She walks around the streets, that leads her to her favourite museum (this
female is an artist). She goes into the museum because she feels that the
things she loves may make things seem much more clearer to her. She wants to
find the answers.
Meanwhile, her boyfriend returns to their apartment (studio). He enters
their apartment and starts to look at her paintings which are hung in every
room. He is saddened because the woman he loves does not know what she wants.
Back at the museum, she walks around looking at the paintings. As she looks
deep into the paintings, they begin to come to life, with Darren singing in
them. He is singing this song, which he is trying to send her out a message
that relationships have their problems, no one is perfect. They have had so
many good times, that it is not worth it to destroy their relationship.
There is a man in her life, who is willing to do anything for her, if only
she just let him.
She moves on to other paintings, and yet she still cannot get rid of this
person singing this song, which no one else can see. She does not know who
he is, but slowly realises the meaning behind his singing. She comes across
a painting which reminds her of the good times she had with her boyfriend.
It is a painting of a man and woman sitting in the park having a picnic. As
she stares into this painting, the next scene is of the her boyfriend,
holding a photo of them two sitting in the park. He misses her and does not
know what to do. He grabs another photo, which is sitting on their mantle.
This photo is of the two of them on their boat from a holiday they were at.
He feels the only place they he can feel better about himself is on this
boat, so he sets out to sleep there for the night.
His girlfriend (still at the museum), suddenly realises that she may have
made a big mistake, and rushes out of the museum back to the park where she
left him, hoping he will still be there. She arrives in the park, and cannot
find him. She feels her time is running out, as she thinks she may have lost
the only one thing that meant something to her.
She rushes to their apartment, screaming his name, looking for him in every
room. As she enters the bedroom, she comes across a broken photo frame on
the floor with their picture in it. The picture is of them two on their
boat. She soon realises that he has gone to this boat, and so she takes off
after him.
She approaches the boat, and finds him at the front of the boat, looking out
into the ocean miserable as ever. She pats him on the shoulder and tells him
that she is sorry and that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him.
He is overwhelmed and picks her up and hugs her in a swinging motion.
