TWO BEDS AND A COFFEE MACHINE

Husband and wife are quarelling. They throw stuff at each other. The stuff
hits their faces, giving them cuts and bruises. Husband pushes wife to the
floor (which is littered with glass) and yells at her before going into his
room and slamming the door shut. Wife's eyes are in tears.
(music starts)
Wife picks up the broken glass (which cuts her fingers) and places them into
the dustbin. She wakes up the children, tells them to pack a few things and
leads them to their car, carrying a sleeping baby. The kids are placed in
the car and wife drives away. She drives over potholes and goes through
stop signs. The roads are virtually empty. Wife pulls over to a motel and
boards a room with 2 beds and an old coffee machine. She tucks the kids into
bed while she sleeps on the floor. Just before dawn she gathers the kids and
escapes to their car, driving away to somewhere else. She uses the last of
her money to buy the kids something to eat and feeds them. She drives on
through the day and night.

Wife pulls over at church and knocks the door. A priest answers, and wife
explains everything to priest. Everyone enters the church and while wife
prays, children are sound asleep. Video fade out.
