(note : I haven't heard the song in a long while so forgive me if part of the
video doesn't correspond to the actual song.)

(before music starts)
It's morning. Darren gets some coffee and looks at the calendar. He realizes
that today is an important date. He changes his clothes (he was wearing a
robe) and gets into the car.

(music starts)
Darren is on a road to a high place. This place looks like an ideal picnic
spot. Darren parks the car somewhere and walks towards a tall tree in the
middle of the field. The field is full of flowers, and at one end is a cliff
leading to a canyon.

(Darren starts singing)
Darren walks around the tree, remembering the event that happenen about a
year ago. These 'flashbacks' are kinda blurred. The first flashback is when
he's walking around the tree, and he remembers how he and Daniel used to have
picnics and jam together. Another is while Darren is walking through the
grass picking the flowers, he remembers him, Daniel and friends fooling
around having fun. The scene shoots back to present-day Darren, looking at
the sky. He sits on the part of the tree facing the cliff and plucks the
petals off the flowers, remembering how he and Daniel used to stare at the
clouds. He then walks towards the edge of the cliff, stoops down and feels
the crumbling rock. Darren then has a very sudden flashback.

This flashback is when Daniel was walking towards the edge of the cliff, with
Darren yelling at him to stop. Unfortunately it is too late, and the cliff
cracks off, bringing Daniel with it down to the canyon. Darren, meanwhile,
looks helplessly at his falling friend, stretching out his arm but to no
avail. The scene returns to present-day Darren, crying as he looks down at
the deep canyon.

Darren was remembering Daniel's death.

Tears flow from Darren's eyes as he throws the flowers down the cliff. If it
wasn't for him...if he could have caught Daniel, then Daniel would have been
alive. He's regretting all that have happened that fateful day one year ago.

(music ends)
There's a strong gust of wind flowing from behind Darren. The sun is setting.
Darren stands calmly at the very edge of the cliff and awaits what is to
happen. Soon enough, the cliff crumbles, and Darren is sent tumbling down.
Darren is willing to die just so he can rejoin his friend.

As Darren is reaching the end, a spirit suddenly appears and catches Darren.
This is Daniel's ghost, causing Darren to be very bewildered indeed. Daniel
lifts Darren back up and places him at the tree. Darren cries as he reaches
out for his dear friend. Daniel hugs him and strokes his hair before smiling
and disappearing into the sunset. Bewildered but with renewed hope, Darren
goes back to his car and drives off.

Like many other videos, this is open to many possibilities. It could be the
other way around, i.e. Daniel is remembering Darren's death. (Daniel singing?
That's a first :) It could be that both died and someone else is remembering
them, or someone else died and D&D are remembering that someone. Or maybe
they didn't die, but almost did, and are remembering what could have been. It
can even be two totally different people in the same situation. It still
works out fine.
