I don't know why. She isn't my favorite senshi. But she's one of my second favorite senshi. So maybe that's why. I really don't know.

Sailor Uranus. Haruka. I don't know her dubbed name. She is an outer senshi. Her relationship with Michiru has been a large subject of controversy. I intend to discuss her personality, give a few facts about her, and discuss her relationship with Michiru.

Haruka is strong. She is the only one to ever best Makoto in a fight. She seems to have more of a boyish personality, with her love for racing and Michiru. She has a love for speed and, I believe, victory. This is somewhat explanatory for her willingness to sacrafice anything to get the talismans, including Michiru. She's slightly cold, apathetic. This reminds me of a friend of mine, a boy. He is very apathetic. Haruka has been mistaken for a boy before. But still, she can not deny her true feelings. Some men won't even admit that they have feelings for somebody. It's their desire to impress, to be cool. To be admired. They think, wrongly, that feelings for people can be a weakness. Haruka can be like that, too. But when Eudial was going to kill Michiru, Haruka didn't hide her feelings. She ran right into a trap. And, when Michiru's talisman had been removed, Haruka took her's out too. Because, to Haruka, a world without Michiru wouldn't be a world worth saving.

Now, we discuss her relationship with Michiru. Two senshi, together. I feel very strongly that this is a relationship of love. She and Michiru are always (that I've seen, anyway) together. They die together, they live together, and they fight together. When they are living together with Sestuna (Pluto), Hotaru calls them Haruka-papa, Michiru-moma, and Sestuna-moma. This also points to what I said earlier, about Haruka having a boyish personality. And if Michiru has a girlish personality... Anyway. Another thing that I have heard about thier relationship is that it started way back before the Negaverse destroyed the Moon Kingdom. I heard that there was a Prince and Princess of Uranus, a brother and sister. The Prince was in love with the Pricess of Neptune (Michiru). During the battle with the Negaverse, the princess of Uranus was mortally wounded. Before she died, however, she gave her brother her senshi powers. Senshi powers can only be used by females, however. So the battle ended, the senshi were reborn, except the Princess of Uranus. She had given her senshi powers to her brother, so he was the senshi, not her. He was reborn, but because senshi powers can only be used by a female, he was reborn as a female (Haruka). His love for Michiru was still there, though, and that's the story. I'm not saying that this is the exact story, I'm saying that this is something I heard and that it makes sense.
