Mr. Freeze Poems
The following are poems about the tortured soul Mr. Freeze.
"Frozen Shell" by Locust Lord
Ice, cold, chill, Freeze,
To never live a life of ease,
Trapped within a frozen shell,
Your life remade a living hell.
Warmth, love, taste, touch,
The feelings are so very much,
Blessed and blessing in return,
Silly men, they'll never learn!
Ice, cold, chill, Freeze,
To never live a life of ease,
A life of pain is the only truth,
and of real death there is no proof.
Blood, revenge, insanity, murder,
there's no need to go any further,
A need for release from all these lies,
A need indeed for one to die.
Ice, cold, chill, Freeze,
To never live a life of ease,
Trapped within a frozen shell,
your life remade a living hell.
A Mr. Freeze fanfic by Locust Lord
This next poem is kind of a little fanfiction
...it's set shortly after Victor Fries is in that
accident and believes his wife is dead, and
all he has left is vengeance...it also
assumes Victor was somewhat of a poet
and wrote poetry to his wife.
"Ray of Sunshine" by Victor Fries
My dear Nora,
I know how you loved to hear me read
poetry to you, but I find the events that have
stolen you from me and left me like this
have somewhat stilled the poet in me...but
before I embark on the journey that I must
now take, I will leave you with one last
poem... one last thing to commerate our life
together.
My ray of sunshine,
my eternal bliss,
my beautiful wife,
where do you now exist?
In your heart,
do you still somehow recall
all those lovely seasons,
winter, spring, summer, fall?
Is there somewhere out there,
a place where you still can see,
your tragic husband,
his life no longer free?
It is a terrible truth,
to be left here alone,
without my sunshine,
my heart is turned to stone.
I do not know
where you are now,
but I swear you this:
I will get there somehow!
No longer to love,
no longer to caress,
no longer to kiss you,
my heart...it cries in distress...
My dearest wife,
without you I'm dead.....
I cannot go on,
this poem must now draw to an end...
I feel my heart frozen...
and my emotions dead.
But one last verse,
and with this I say a goodbye divine,
to you my dear Nora,
I will never forget your warm ray of sunshine.
