Aa Megami-sama chapter 50 (volume 8, page 75 - 114) title: Umibede kimetene Keiichi, Belldandy, and the other goddess were at the deserted beach in September. While the girls were swimming, Keiichi sat by himself on the beach. Urd came up to Keiichi and asked if he remembered why he had come. Flashback to the previous day: Urd told Keiichi that she would do a fortune telling for him. She told him to go to the ocean. "On the night of the full moon, on top of the rocks, if you say your feelings, you will be bound forever!" There was a place with three rocks sticking out of the ocean at Sahara beach. Urd told Keiichi that it was his destiny. Belldandy and Skuld came to Keiichi. Belldandy said, "Keiichi-san, aren't you going to swim?" Keiichi said, "No.. I don't like jellyfish.." But Keiichi was thinking to himself that he was glad that he came. Skuld then showed a jetski-like mecha that she had built. (called marine parts Banpei-kun) Keiichi was uncertain, but Skuld put him on it and sent him out onto the ocean, just as Keiichi started to say that he couldn't swim. When Keiichi recovered, his head was on Belldandy's lap. "Are you all right? You shouldn't have stayed on so long. You could have gotten off earlier.." Keiichi got up and said that he was all right. Then Keiichi recalled what Urd had said and went out to look for the three rocks. Belldandy said that she would go with him. Skuld wanted to go too, but Urd told her to stay. Keiichi looked around, but he couldn't find the three rocks. Then as they looked out toward the sea, Belldandy said, "Keiichi-san.. When you come to the ocean, do you recall?" Keiichi said, "Huh?" Belldandy said, "That was the ocean too. Our first date." While they were waiting, Urd told Skuld about Belldandy and Keiichi's destiny. She also told her not to interfere. But Skuld was determined to interfere. When Keiichi and Belldandy returned, Keiichi discovered that Urd was topless. When Urd asked Keiichi if he had found the three rocks, Keiichi said that he couldn't find them. But Urd said that this chance was very special (not something that everyone gets) and told Keiichi to go look again. Later in the afternoon, Keiichi and Belldandy were alone at the beach house. Keiichi was feeling uneasy because Urd and Skuld weren't there. Then Keiichi imagined himself telling Belldandy that he liked her on top of the three rocks. When Belldandy came into the room, she said, "Keiichi-san? You're face is red. Maybe too much sun." Belldandy put her forehead against Keiichi's. Keiichi immediately backed off and said that he was all right. Belldandy said, "Keiichi-san, would it have been better if I had not come to the ocean with you? Ever since you came, it seems like you are a little preoccupied." Keiichi said, "No, it's nothing like that. I didn't want to see the ocean. I just wanted to come with you." Belldandy said, "Keiichi-san.. Thank you." Belldandy walked to Keiichi, and just as they were going to hold each other, the keeper of the house came and told them that Skuld's marine mecha was parked in the way. Meanwhile Skuld was digging traps for Keiichi with Banpei-kun. She said, "Keiichi! I have nothing against you, but I can't give you oneesama." Urd was watching her and said, "It's starting to look interesting. There's got to be some obstacle in the way of right. Right? Keiichi!" When Belldandy got out of the bath, Keiichi was gone. He left behind a note saying that he would be gone for a little while. Keiichi was running out to the seashore. Little Urd was urging him to take one more look for the three rocks. Then Keiichi found the rocks out in the ocean. It had become visible as the tide went out. When Keiichi was running back, he saw a young girl sitting on the beach. When Keiichi asked what was wrong, the girl said that she was out of breath. So Keiichi decided to carry her, although he really wanted to hurry back to Belldandy. But when Keiichi tried to stand up with the girl on his back, he couldn't. The girl was actually a robot that Skuld had created. But the girl started to attract Keiichi's keys because of its magnetic power. When Keiichi started to suspect something, Skuld caused it to explode. Keiichi knew that it must have been Skuld, and became even more determined to get back to Belldandy. But Keiichi ran into every trap that Skuld had set up. When Keiichi finally got back, Belldandy was surprised at his messy condition. But Keiichi just asked Belldandy to go out to see the moon with him. Keiichi and Belldandy walked to the edge of the ocean and saw the three rocks in the sea. But Keiichi thought, "Shit.. I got her to come here, but how are we going to get there." Belldandy saw that Keiichi was looking troubled and thought, "Keiichi-san what should I do? Can't I do anything to help out?" Then a laughing voice said, "It looks like you're in trouble. Didn't I tell you to call me when you were in trouble, Keiichi!" Urd popped out of the ocean with Skuld's marine mecha. A little bit later, Skuld came out of the water and asked Urd about Keiichi. Urd pointed to Keiichi and Belldandy who were riding the mecha toward the rocks. Keiichi thought that he was almost there, but Skuld turned her mecha into submarine mode with her remote control. Keiichi started drowning and Belldandy saved him. Belldandy carried Keiichi onto the rocks, and Keiichi said, "I'm sorry.. Not only once, but twice. I'm so pitiful." Belldandy said, "No you're not. Keiichi-san, you can't swim and you should be scared of the sea. But you tried so hard to show me the moon. Because you're like that, I really like you.." Keiichi said, "Belldandy.." Skuld saw this and became very mad. Keiichi said, "Thank you. You always change the minus into a plus.. Because you're like that, I like you." When Keiichi turned around, he saw that Skuld was standing between Belldandy and himself. Keiichi was shocked. He thought that he would be bound to Skuld forever. Later at the beach house, Urd told Keiichi and Belldandy that her fortune was all fake. But Belldandy was feeling happy. -- Hitoshi Doi, Toshi Nibunnoichi doi@jrd.dec.com half a UFO catcher doll, half a cel [from Japan: doi@dec-j.co.jp]
