Duo was sulking. He knew he should be more concerned about the next mission, but he just couldn't concentrate. Heero never left his thoughts anymore.
" Damnit! Why can't I get him out of my head?"
His partner had become and obsession for him. He didn't even realize it happened until it was too late. Now when he studied Heero's immobile expression, he thought of how beautiful those eyes were, how full his lips are, how much he wanted to be kissing him. It hadn't started out that way. He used to study Heero's face to figure out what the other boy was thinking.
" Daaaaa!" He screamed as he pulled at his hair.
And now he sat worrying about where his friend was instead of what the next mission would be. He started as the door clicked shut.
" Heero! You shouldn't sneak up on people like that! You scared me half to death!" Duo plastered a smile on his face.
" Duo…" Heero intoned as he stalked over to his partner and took his face in his hands.
" Heero?"
" My being alive. My being in a living hell, it's all you're fault," he stated calmly.
" What…" Duo stammered as Heero's lips clamed his own in a passionate kiss.

" Heero?" Duo panted.
" You're the reason I'm still here. I just can't get you out of my head," Heero almost sounded… angry as he pulled at Duo's clothes.
" Heero? What's going on?"
" Duo, just shut up and let me fuck you," Heero panted as he stripped himself. A confused Duo looked on from inside his stunned mind as he lost his virginity to the other pilot.

" Heero? What was that about?" Duo asked as he lay curled in Heero's arms.
" I needed release."
" That's it? Then why didn't you go to Relena?"
" Hn. Because you're mine. Quite now and go to sleep."
Duo smiled inwardly as he thought to himself. Heero had always been quite child like in his thoughts. He came in and just took what he wanted, thinking that nothing else mattered. It never occurred to him the Duo was his own person, and that Duo might have wanted him too.

" Duo?"
" Yes, Heero?"
" You can't leave me. Not now, not ever."
" Um… Heero, I'll have to leave sometime. We all do."
" No. You'll stay with me forever."
" Sure, Sure…" Duo consented as he fell asleep.

Heero was lost in thought as Duo drifted to sleep in his arms. He was so close to killing himself during his mission today, but a vision of violet eyes kept him alive. Why he wanted this boy so much he didn't know. He thought it was for physical release, but even now, after they had made love, he still felt he needed the boy in his arms forever.

When Heero thought about it, Duo shouldn't be good enough for him. He was the perfect soldier after all, and Duo was a mere boy. He would have to make Duo perfect too.

It had been two weeks, and Heero still came to Duo every night, after every mission, muttering the same nonsense and then screwing him silly. Duo wasn't sure why the Wing pilot did so, but he was happy with the arrangements for now.

Duo didn't realize how nuts he was making Heero.
" You're the reason I'm still alive. I can't live without you, and I can't kill myself to end the pain of living while you're alive," thought Heero. " You're killing me by making me live, Duo Maxwell."

Heero stares into the mirror and traces a hand down the artery running though his neck as he remembers all the people he's killed. He sees a little girl running with her dog in the grass near a base. She looks so happy, then suddenly, she's screaming and covered in blood. Heero looks down at his hands and finds them covered in blood, her blood.

Duo walks into the bathroom and sees Heero staring at himself, blood running down his arms from where his nails dug into his palms. Heero turns and looks at the boy, the angel of death with deep violet eyes that tortures his soul.
Dressing coffins for the souls I've left to die

Heero pushed Duo back to the bed.
" Heero? Are you okay? What's wrong? Let me fix your hands."
" I want you…"
" Heero?" Duo asked in concern as Heero ripped the shirt off of his chest.
" You've made me suffer! You make me live! You make me want you! Stop bringing back the demons! You made me kill that little girl!" Heero's voice got louder and he pushed Duo down and brutally thrust into him.

" Heero! Stop! It hurts! I don't know what you're talking about, but you're hurting me!" Duo cried as tears flowed freely down his cheeks.

Heero bit Duo's neck hard. He relished in the taste of Duo's sweet blood against his lips. The salty metallic flavor making him high.
In you I taste God
" Heero… please… stop… you're hurting me…" Duo whimpered.
Heero laughed and pulled a knife off of the nightstand.
" Heero! What are you doing? Put the knife down!" Duo cried out, now franticly trying to escape, afraid for his life.

Heero slowly dragged the sharp side of the knife down the insides of Duo's thighs. He lapped at the blood that fell from the wounds.

Duo sobbed, choked cries coming out of his throat.
" Heero… I love you. Please don't hurt me anymore."

Heero saw the image of the little girl drowning in her own blood in his mind. He slashed Duo's wrists, and then drank the blood flowing from the wounds as he thrust into Duo.

" Heero… I love you, please stop…" Duo's voice was lost as his body went cold and Heero came in his corpse.
Heero pulled out and began to cry.

He took the knife, still wet with Duo's blood, and made one clean quick cut through his neck. His body fell lifeless onto Duo's.
