12. The sorrow continues, Mercury's new power.
The morning sun shines into Haruka's room, Haruka and Hotaru lays side by
side. The lock of silverly white hair still partly remain outside their
body. They look weak and pale. The others (in civilian form) is asleep
around them. (Chibi-usa sleep deeply, holding Chibi-chibi, Usagi holds the
baby.)
Haruka turns her head and found mysterious senshi, much to her surprise.
"How are you feeling?" The mysterious senshi asked.
Haruka's cheek glows slightly redder :"Painful......" The pain stop her
from continuing. Mysterious senshi stuck a thermometer in her mouth,
Hotaru smiled at him, then turn her head. He then took out the thermometer
and have a look. "The danger zone is over." He then do the same to
Hotaru, with the same respond. He put down the thermometer, "Both of you
can't transform for a while." and then tried to leave.
"Wait......" Haruka grab his hand. "Are you Tayoru?......" The
mysterious senshi is silent. "Only Tayoru other than them......"
indicating the senshi, "Knows which is my room." The background shown the
mysterious senshi enters the room late last night with the others
following, holding Haruka.
"Only time will tell......" He left.

Ami is studying very hard with the inner senshi. They are in Rei's shrine.
The others looks worried, the calender shows finals are near.
"Where are you up to, Ami?" Usagi asked.
"I'm way behind, I'm only half way through!" Ami responds, the other
nearly pop their eyes out. "I wish I have your problem!" Makoto said.
Usagi sneaks behind Rei's back and pull out the manga she hide behind her
books. Rei's face flash with red and fights with Usagi.
Rei's grandpa came in and stops Rei, he offer everyone snacks. Yuuichiro
tried to entertain every one (by singing, off course!) but was shut up by
Rei.

On the moon, Vacill is reporting to "Galaxia". "Galaxia" is pleased with
her progress.
"How are you attempt to eliminate the senshi?" "Galaxia" asked.
"I shall lure them out, with the anecdote."
"You can't handle all of them?!"
Vacill smiled :"I shall attempt to take out the weakest of them first."
A hologram of Mercury attacking appeared in front of her. "Galaxia" throw
another crystal to her, "Use this wisely."
"I will." She teleported away.
A sudden change of weather had hit Tokyo, storms and hail hits without
notice. The inner senshi is trapped inside Rei's shrine. Much to their
surprise, Luna appeared.
"What are you doing here, Luna? What about Chibi-chibi and Chibi-usa?"
Usagi asked.
Luna :"Arthemis is with them. I had come to warn you, this is not a
natural weather change."
The girls all look outside, the hail storm increased dramatically.
At Haruka's room, Tayoru comes for a visit. He brought a branch of roses.
"I heard you were not feeling so good."
Haruka said :"I'm ok, just a little bit of flu." Setsuna and Michiru
enters with Haruka's "medicine".
As they left, Michiru asked Setsuna :"You don't suppose he could be the
mysterious senshi?" Setsuna is silent, her thoughts goes back to the
distant Silver Millennium, so long ago.
Suddenly, the lock of hair on Haruka flashed a few time. Hair starts to
come in from windows and ceiling. Tayoru scoop up Haruka and send her
outside, but his feet got caught and being pull back into the room.
"Tayoru......." Haruka shouted, Neptune's Tidal Wave attack comes calling
but it only blasted the hair, together with Tayoru. The hair wrap Tayoru
in a hair ball and aims for Haruka again. Neptune tries to holds it off
but locks of hair comes from behind and wrap her arm and legs.
As the hair is about to hit Haruka, a number of yellow rose cut Haruka free
and red roses cut Neptune free. Tux and the mysterious senshi appeared.
The used the crystal rose to swept the hair off the room, leaving the hair
ball of Tayoru. The mysterious senshi cut it free by throwing two cards.
Tayoru appeared, laying unconscious on the ground. Haruka is both relive
and disappointed.
As the storm of hair form a circle around the house and attempts to crash
it, Pluto blast a way out but it immediately got seal off.
"Mercury aqua rhapsody!" Mercury's attack freeze the hairs and Venus's love
and beauty shock break it off the house. The inner senshi appeared.
"It would not be a party without the inner senshi." A laughing Vacill
appeared, she blasted the senshi with energy attack but got surrounded.
She holds up a crystal, "Want the antidote?" The senshi froze, and
Neptune attempts to grab for it, she disappeared and appeared again, above
a fallen Neptune.
"To show you my power..." She tighten her fist and Haruka and Hotaru's
wound glow with light, they cried with pain.
"What do you want?" Mercury snapped.
"Just you, nobody else, a fair battle, you win, you have the antidote."
A vortex open behind Vacill, she steps back into the vortex.
Mercury hesitated but Vacill keep on calling :"Come on!"
"Don't go, it's a trap!" Neptune shouted, Mercury bite her teeth, but jump
throw. Before the vortex closes, Luna and mysterious senshi sneak through
too. The sky clears, the senshi can only wait.
They arrived at a beach, Mercury analyse with her computer. "It's an
island, why would she bring me to an island?"
Luna :"Watch out, Mercury, this trap is growing dangerous every minute."
The ground breaks lose and web of hair appeared, Mercury jumped onto a
coconut tree.
The lock of hair slide through the tree and sent Mercury falling. The
mysterious senshi caught but the hair are at their trail. They split up
and went into the near by forest, as they ran, the hair at their back
growing enormously and slicing through everything in its path.
Mercury trip a stone and fall, as the hair is about to swallow Mercury, she
froze it. A deck of flying cards breaks them into little pieces. Mercury
thanked the mysterious senshi.
Vacill appeared, blasting them with energy. Mercury blasted back but got
hit eventually. "There is much difference between our power, Sailor
Mercury, why not give up?"
"I'll never give up on my friends!" Mercury blasted her, she disappeared
and sneak behind Mercury. Two rose comes by, one cut her left hand, which
cause her to drop the antidote crystal. As she tries to pick it up, a
dozen rose flew by, she teleported away.
Reappearing on the sky, she saw mysterious senshi already grab the crystal.
She blasted him right on the shoulder but were frozen by Mercury.
Mysterious senshi's sword got blast off into the distant forest. Mercury
get on her feet and check mysterious senshi's wound.
Unnoticed by them Vacill break free from the ice cube. "Your power cannot
stop me, Mercury. Now, I'll destroy you both!"
The surface of the sea is rising, very rapidly and is coming at very fast
rate. It flow to almost twenty storeys high.
Mercury :"Tsunami!" Panic flashed in her eyes.
"Yes. Good bye!" Vacill disappeared.
Mercury help mysterious senshi on his feet, Luna comes by. "We have to get
out of here now, Luna......"
"Its too late!" Said Luna. The wave is coming at an incredible rate.
"You must freeze the water!"
"But my power is limited!"
"Luna......" Mysterious senshi bend down. "Take my hand......"
Luna took his hand, a rash of energy filled Luna and a flash of memory
comes back. Her moon in-sigma flashes.
Luna's eye flashed with excitement. "You are......" Mysterious senshi
shakes his head :"Please keep the secret for the time being."
Luna turn her head to Mercury :"Mercury, there is something I must tell
you, you have a secret power, you have yet to discover, a secret power
which disappeared for a long time."
Luna makes a somersault and form an energy bolt, the mysterious senshi
takes the energy bolt and energise it, it takes form into a blue wand, with
a star like crystal on it. (Looks like Moon rod with a crystal top)
"Take this, you heart will guide you." Mercury takes the wand.
"Winter star, freeze!" The wand shots out a storm of tiny blue snow star
which freeze the Tsunami. It then break into little pieces.
Back at Haruka's house, the others are waiting worryingly. As they
appeared they all stand on their feet. Mercury use the crystal to heal
Haruka and Hotaru, the hair disappeared and the wound closed. As the other
failed to see, the mysterious senshi wonders off next to Tayoru.
He then formed into a transparent body and gone into Tayoru's body, it's
his projection.
Later on at Tayoru's apartment, Haruka is helping him to drink his
medicine, as the outer senshi and inner senshi (now earth is part of inner
senshi), all in civilian form, makes a mess in the kitchen.
