16. Attack of the shadow walker, Makoto's stolen shadow
Precous appeared high above the night Tokyo. She powdered a dozen of
crystal in her hands and throw it down onto the city. A lot of people got
hit by the crystal fragment and their shadow disappeared and appeared
again. Precous laughed irritatingly and disappeared.

Makoto is cooking up a feast in her kitchen, helped by Minako. Usagi and
the inner senshi sit in the hall to study. Ami was correcting Usagi's
math, she is happy as there is a much improvement. Makoto serves up a
number of snacks which the senshi finished in seconds.
When the senshi leaves, Makoto walks Minako home as the others walk the
other way. Makoto went home by herself after that. On her way home she
saw a number of floating shadows passing through at high speed.
"What?" Makoto follows the shadows quickly, which lead her to an empty
street. Precous appeared and summon the shadows, the shadows stands up and
each evolves into a person. Precous extract the soul crystal from them by
shooting a ray from her ring into their heart, their crystal pops out.
Makoto transforms. As Precous is about to leave, the humans form into
shadow and slowly fades away. Jupiter appears, "Leave those soul
crystals!"
Precous turns around and blasted her, Jupiter steps aside and return her
attack which blasted Precous's hand. She drop the soul crystal which then
falls to the ground. They each roll to a fading shadows and disappeared
altogether.
Precous is growing angry, but laughed. "Sailor Jupiter! Your will pay for
that!"
She kicks Jupiter, Jupiter grab her leg and returns a punch. Precous
easily break loose and gone to Jupiter's back. Jupiter turns around but
saw nothing. Unnoticed by her, her shadow has two eyes flashing momentaly.
Makoto arrive home and takes a bath, her shadows stretches out at length.
As she grow suspicious, Precous appeared from her shadow. Makoto rash out
to get her crystal but got zap by Precous's dark energy knife, she got
separated from her shadow.
Makoto's shadow stands at Precous's side. She laughed and as she get ready
to blast the shocked Makoto, a yellow rose flash by. Precous teleported
away.

Makoto sleep on her bed, her skin colour is getting darker. The inner
senshi surrounds the bed, they look on with concern. Mysterious senshi was
out on the hall with Tux.
"It would not be long when the shadow change into her, then she will
becomes her shadow forever!" Tux hangs his head, looking at the depressed
senshi.
Suddenly, the outer senshi reach them on the communicator. They are
battling Precous. The senshi rush out the door, Moon asked Chibi-moon to
stay behind.
Precous blasted the outer senshi and wrap them with shadow ribbon, Neptune
break it with her talisman but Precous throws a crystal knife onto each of
their shadows. Their shadow got stuck and they could not move.
Uranus tried to blast Precous with space sword but Precous wave her hand
and a shadow counters and absorbed the blast. Pluto and Saturn launch
their attack but got countered with the same attack.
Precous laughed :"Surrender your soul crystal, Sailor Senshi!" Suddenly
two red rose come by and break two of the crystal knife and two yellow
rose come by and break the other two. The outer senshi was freed, Uranus
and Neptune attack with body attack but Precous teleport above them.
She energise a large shadow vortex and attempts to swallow the senshi. Tux
and mysterious senshi throws crystal rose into it, a huge light occurs and
the shadow disappeared.
Back at Makoto's house, Makoto slowly awakes and saw Chibi-moon. "Where
are the others?" Chibi-moon did not speak, she holds tightly to Makoto.
"They are out looking for my shadow, right?" She got out of bed and
transformed. She is getting darker.
"Where are you going?" Chibi-moon asked. Jupiter smiled :"This is a
problem I have to solve myself." She jumps out through the window, follows
by Chibi-moon.
The senshi stands guard on the ground. A huge shadow pillar appeared and
swept at them, they jump clear but Saturn got hit. The senshi are
surprise. "They are as if they are real!" Moon shouted.
They heard Precous giggles :"Observe the power of the shadow!"
A number of shadow appeared before them and change into humans. The senshi
hesitate as they attacks. Moon use her power kiss and they disappeared.
The near by tree's shadow suddenly extent and grab Mars, mysterious senshi
cut her lose with a rose, Mercury and Neptune freeze the shadow but they
got zap and disappeared. The senshi were stunned.
A number of dark figure appeared and start to attack the senshi. They
blasted it and another wave of them comes. A vortex opens above them and
flash of Neptune appeared but disappeared immediately. Tux jump into it as
it closes. Moon shouted with fear but could not help.
Inside the shadow, Neptune and Mercury floats around in nowhere. Tux catch
up with them and grab their hands.
"Concentrate you will, break out of darkness!" The senshi close their eyes
and join hands. An energy build up inside them and huge flashes of light
occur. They stand on the ground once more.
Precous appeared :"That's impossible!" She send shadow blot towards the
senshi but got blasted by mysterious senshi's rose. Moon stands out of the
crowd and blasted Precous with her attack, the shadow figures disappeared.
In a flash, a whip wrap and pull Moon's tier out of her hands and Precous
blasted a shadow towards her.
"Galactic supernova!" Galaxia's attack destroy the shadow and blasted
Precous. Galaxia flash over to Precous and tried to attack her, she
disappeared.
Jupiter appeared, picks up Moon's tier and return it to her. Her skin
colour is now extremely dark, her eyes are getting a lot darker too.
Although she stands in place with light, there is not a sight of her
shadow. The senshi were very concerned. Jupiter smiled "Don't worry, I'll
be alright."
Precous appeared, with Jupiter's "shadow", the "shadow" begin to look a lot
like Jupiter. Precous laughed :"In only a few minutes, your friends will
disappeared forever, but if you kill the shadow, it will kill her too!"
She laughed and leave.
The "shadow" starts her attack, the senshi avoided the blast and surrounds
her. Jupiter went up to her :"You were my shadow once, would you not
return to me?"
The "shadow" smiles sinisterly, "I like being you!" Both of them fires,
Jupiter got blast as her attack is getting weaker.
The "shadow" jumps above a tree. It said :"Catch me before sunrise, that
is your only hope!" and runs off. Jupiter goes after her, with mysterious
senshi close by.
Both of them landed on a tall building, as the "shadow" turns around, she
got blasted by Jupiter. As Jupiter release another blast, she weakens and
fall to the ground. The sky is starting to get lighter and Jupiter is now
totally black.
The "shadow" laughs as she approaches, :"How about be my shadow, it's not
too bad you know?" Jupiter back hard to the wall, knowing that if they
touch, they will swap forever.
A rose flash by and stops the shadow, the mysterious senshi approach and
help Jupiter raise. He shots out a beam from his swords onto the shadow
and a huge flash occurs.
As the mysterious senshi is about to turn around, he got assaulted by
Precous. "I had enough of you!" She shouted, but she got blast with a
world shaking attack. The other senshi arrive.
Jupiter wakes up, she returns to normal, the senshi are overjoyed. But
Precous flashed by and got Uranus with an energy whip. She attempts to
pull and throw her off the building. A weapon flash by and cut the wipe,
Precous falls off and disappeared into a shadow.

The weapon landed on the ground, it was a mask. Moon saw that Tux's is
still intact, but the mysterious senshi stands with his back to them and
face to Uranus. He reach into his pocket, pulls out another and put it on.
Uranus's face is unstable and flash with emotion. Anger, happiness, sad
and were slightly embarrassed.
Mysterious senshi stands and paused. "I'm sorry, Uranus." He walk towards
her, but she take a step back. Mysterious senshi paused, then leave.
Moon got up to Uranus and pet her back. "What is wrong, Uranus, who is
he?"
Uranus's face turns red and back to pale, slowly, she whispers :"He is
Tayoru!"
