Sailor Moon episode 45

Episode title: Cherry Blossom Time

"Beautiful." Alan said. Anne told him that every year, the people went to celebrate the blooming. They recalled the times when the Doom Tree was so alive and fragrant. They looked at it now. It was dying, fighting for its life.

Serena, Molly, Mina, Lita, Amy, Raye, Anne and Miss Haruna were in a park. All around them, Cherry Blossoms bloomed on the trees, making them a beautiful bright pink. Serena was happy. They had no school that day. It was thought that it was tough to get the principal to let Miss Haruna take all the kids out of school. Lita said,

"She told him it was for environmental studies." Raye, being the happy, yet work-aholic girl, said,

"Well, it is!"

Serena, in the meantime, couldn't wait to eat. Meanwhile, Melvin was sitting by a tree on a large blanket. He was looking around for Molly, and found the entire group of girls.

"Sure is a great spot you found for us." Said Serena.

"When did you get here?" Amy asked. Melvin replied,

"Nine o'clock last night." The entire group of girls was shocked. Amy asked if it was cold, and Melvin said that he didn't mind. He told them that his sleeping bag kept him warm. Everyone sat down to eat. Serena got food ready to put in mouth, and asked Anne where her food was. Anne said,

"I don't need food, really. Just energy." Serena was a little taken by the comment. She interpreted it as 'Anne forgot her lunch'. Serena offered some food to Anne. Miss Haruna told the girls to be quiet, and said,

"If you're good, I'll give you a free period."

"Oh, Miss H., We're not in school today!" Serena said. Haruna realized her mistake, and everyone had a good laugh. Serena looked over her shoulder, and saw Alan, Anne's brother. Alan was watching Serena as she was telling the girls that it seemed as if Alan was following her. He said to himself,

"So beautiful." Anne was suddenly beside him. She asked if he really thought that of a human. He said, "Oh, Anne. You've got it all wrong again. You thought I was talking about Serena, didn't you? I was simply commenting on all the trees."

"Well," Anne said, "I don't really care." She ducked behind the back of a tree for a split second, and came out looking like Anne. She was in her original form. She said,

"I'm more interested in gathering the energy from these girls." Alan had the same notion. He told Anne to choose a Cardian, and Anne chose Cardian Racey.

A Cherry Blossom fell into Molly's hand, and she said it was so pretty. Melvin said to Molly that she was more pretty than a Cherry Blossom, and Molly said,

"Hey, stop it! I really hate it when you talk like that!"

"But Molly!" Melvin said. "I can't help it if that's the way I feel about you." Molly blushed.

"Okay. But don't tell the others." Molly looked behind Melvin and saw the strangest thing. Melvin turned to see, and before the two kids was a tree that had a mystical aura around it. They could see a human form in the tree. It was Cardian Racey. She was in the shape of a tree. She looked at the kids, and her eyes flashed. In a burst of light, the energy of Molly and Melvin was drained. Meanwhile, Miss Haruna was walking by, and saw the two on the ground. She ran to them, and tried to help them. A woman came up behind her, and she asked the woman to help her. Miss Haruna was in a panic, and the woman didn't seem to move. She simply looked at Miss Haruna. Her eyes flashed, and Miss Haruna's energy was taken.

At the park infirmary, the doctor noticed that it was as if Molly's energy had been drained out of her. Serena was with the doctor, accompanied by Luna and Artemis. He said that it was the tenth case in that day, and Serena was surprised. Luna and Artemis suspected it was Alan and Anne.

"And you say they're energy drained out of them?" Serena said to Luna and Artemis. They decided to check out the place where Molly and Melvin had been attacked.

All the girls were searching the site where Molly and Melvin were attacked. A wind blew by, and Raye felt an alien presence. They all turned, and saw the same tree that Molly and Melvin had seen. In a flash of light, their energy was being drained, and Serena saw it. She ran to her friends.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!!!"

Sailor Moon appeared, and saw the energy draining from her friends. From out of the tree came Racey, and dashed at Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon jumped out of the way, and looked to the ground where Racey had gone past. There was a long gouge in the ground. Sailor Moon attacked.

"MOON TIARA MAGIC!!!!"

As the tiara flew to its target, it lost its spin, and was easily knocked away by Racey. Raye warned,

"Sailor Moon! Whatever you do, don't look into her eyes!"

Racey dashed at Sailor Moon again, and tackled her. Sailor Moon was pinned under the Cardian. Sailor Moon tried not to look, but she couldn't help it. A large circle of white energy formed under Sailor Moon, and a pillar of light shot upward. As Sailor Moon's energy was draining, the power in her locket vanished. She reverted to Serena, and the Cardian was winning. Serena tried desperately to escape, but the ground beneath her became like quicksand. She began to sink in, and Luna went to grab her. Luna was pulling on Serena's arm, and Serena was telling her to go. Serena was drawn in, and Luna went with her. All hope was lost. Meanwhile, in the void where the Doom Tree was, it gained a lot of energy.

"What do I do now?" Serena asked Luna, though only in thought. She and Luna were floating unconscious in a void, and were speaking to each other telepathically.

"Face it." Luna said. "You just didn't want to be Sailor Moon today, did you?"

"No." Serena said. "I just wanted to be a normal teenager going on a picnic with my friends."

"That's your problem." Luna said. Serena couldn't be Sailor Moon if she didn't want to be. In a flash of light, Serena was conscious again, and she was floating in a red colored void. She was naked, and was curled up to hide herself. She looked in her arms, and there was Luna. Then, a voice spoke to Serena.

"Queen Serenity!"

"I'm here in your mind, my dear." The Queen said gently.

"Can you help me?" Serena asked. "I do not know how to free my friends."

"Power's in the locket." In a flash of light, Serena was in her Princess form, and was standing before her mother. They were in a tower in the Moon Kingdom. The Imperium Silver Crystal hovered before Serena, and lowered itself into Sailor Moon's broken locket. The Crystal touched the locket, and became a new locket. This one was predominately pink, and had a star on it. Serena said,

"Look at it. It is beautiful." Serena said. Serenity told Luna to look after Serena. Serena said,

"With the power in this Crystal, I can save my friends."

Serenity explained that the Crystal didn't have its full power back, but the stronger her desire to save her friends, the more powerful the Crystal would be. Serena walked over to a space in the room. At her mother's order, she became Sailor Moon once again.

"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!!!!"

Alan told Racey to take the energy from the girls. The girls were locked in a tree by magic. Racey was about to take the energy when suddenly, the Moon changed colors. Over where Racey had drawn Serena into the ground, a pillar of white light appeared.

"I'm back! I'm bold! Maybe even beautiful! I'm in your face, and you're gonna have to deal with it!" It was Sailor Moon. Artemis was relieved, and Luna said,

"Artemis. So little faith you have in us."

Racey attacked Sailor Moon, and Sailor Moon leapt to safety. She fell against a tree. Racey blasted a powerful burst of energy at Sailor Moon, and Sailor Moon ducked just in time to see the blast take a chunk out of the tree. Luna told Sailor Moon to get up, and Sailor Moon said,

"Don't know if I've got it in me!" Racey hovered in the air. Her hands, which were tree branches, turned into large claws, and flew towards Sailor Moon. The end was near. Racey drew closer and closer, and WHAM! Racey was stopped. Sailor Moon looked up. There stood the Moonlight Knight. Sailor Moon heard a voice.

"Princess Serena!" It was Queen Serenity. Something floated down to Sailor Moon. She wondered what it was. Serenity said, "This Moon Scepter will help you in your quest." Sailor Moon thanked her mother, and looked at the evil monster for motivation.

"MOON SCEPTER ELIMINATION!!!"

Racey was hit by the new power of Sailor Moon, and fell to the ground as a card. Racey was gone.

"Racey's toast." Alan fumed. Anne said,

"But we did get a lot of energy."

At the park, the Moonlight Knight congratulated Sailor Moon, and said that she was a true friend. The girls agreed. Luna thought that the girls were finally going to get their acts together. Then, Raye said,

"All the same. You could've come to rescue us sooner! What were you up to all that time?"

"You total ungrateful wretch!" Sailor Moon said, dropping Amy on Luna and Artemis. She and Raye argued, and Sailor Moon looked at the Moon in the sky. She thought to herself, I'm thankful to have all my friends back. Even a brat like Raye!
