Sailor Moon episode 1

And so, our story begins......

A young girl's alarm rang to signify that the owner was late for school. She shot out of bed, and downstairs to get ready. She asked her mother why she hadn't awoken her.

"I did, Serena dear, and each time, you told me you were wide awake."

"And you believed me?"

Finally, the young girl, Serena, was about to leave, when her mother stopped her, reminding her that she had forgotten her lunch. She took it, and ran to school.

While Serena was going to school, she overheard some children talking. She looked over into a nearby parking lot, and saw three kids fussing over something. She ran over, and saw that it was a small black cat, with a bandage on it's forehead. She ran over, and scared the kids away, and picked up the cat. Serena inspected the cat for injuries, and pealed the bandage off the cat's head. She was amazed at what she saw. On the forehead of the small cat was a crescent moon! Serena was shocked, and the cat jumped away, and perched on a nearby car. Serena was afraid, and the cat looked at her curiously. It thought about Serena, and Serena screamed, and ran to school.

At school, Serena was sitting and eating, and asked her friends if they had seen the new Sailor V game. Just then, Serena's teacher, Miss Patricia Haruna, burst in, and told Serena that she needed less TV. She had no excuse for failing the exam she was holding. On the paper was a bright red 30. Miss Haruna wanted Serena to get the test signed by her mother and brought to her the next day. She went home.

After school, Serena and one of her friends were talking. Her friend's name was Molly Baker, and she was telling Serena that it was only one test. Serena said that if her mother found out, she would take Serena's allowance and she wouldn't get to play the Sailor V game. Then, a young boy wearing glasses came along. They said hi to the boy, whose name was Melvin, and he said that he heard about Serena's test. He offered to tutor, and she refused. Molly said that Serena needed to go to the mall, to get her mind off the test. Melvin said,

"You're going shopping? What's more important than your grades? Look," He pulled out a test paper. On it was a bright red 95. "I didn't study, and I only got a 95. How am I going to explain this to my parents?" Molly didn't care. She and Serena began to plan what to buy, and planned to go to Molly's mother's jewelry store. They went to the mall. Melvin said,

"Serena. Beautiful, but a shop-a-holic."

Deep in the darkest palace, in the darkest corner of the darkest place, a young woman sat on a throne of evil. She gazed into a small crystal ball, and sought guidance. She was the embodiment of evil. Her name was Queen Beryl of the Negaverse, and she was talking to a voice.

"The Oracle says it's time to release the Negaforce." She said. Voices from her crystal ball groaned, "Yes...Yes..."

Beryl said, "but to do so, I'll need Energy, yes, a great deal of energy."

The evil queen called out the name Jedite, and a man with short blonde hair and a gray suit appeared. He was the man Beryl called. She told him to get the energy from the place called Earth, and he said that his servant, Morga, had already been dispatched to take care of it.

Meanwhile, at the jewelry shop, Mrs. Baker, Molly's mother, was walking around the store shouting through a mega-phone that all the jewelry was 90% off. Serena and Molly, who had arrived earlier, noticed. Mrs. Baker was encouraging the customers to try on the jewelry, and the mind of Morga thought to herself. She thought of the plan that Beryl had come up with, and how well it was going. The jewelry began to drain people's energy, and Jedite was pleased.

Molly approached her mother, and got her attention. They said that they wanted to try some rhinestones, and Mrs. Baker/ Morga said that they should try diamonds instead. They went to the counter, and Mrs. Baker presented them with a gold diamond ring. She offered it to Serena, a 20 karat diamond, for $10. Soon, the entire crowd surrounded the counter, and they were all fighting for possession of the ring. Serena and Molly crawled out. Molly said that it was really weird. Serena realized that she had one, so she went home drearily.

While walking home, Serena was depressed. The looked at her test, and tried to throw it away, but it landed on a guy's head. He called her Meatball Head, and told her to watch it. He look at the test, and asked whether Serena was stupid, or incredibly lazy. She took the test from him, and walked away angry, though she stopped for a second to say that the guy looked cute.

Serena's journey home seemed never-ending, and she stopped in front of the Crown Game Center. She looked at a poster, and on it, was a heroine named Sailor V. Serena stopped to ponder and compare her life to Sailor V's, and Serena said she wouldn't be anything with her grades. She marched home, a death march, and the black cat was watching...

Finally at home, Serena walked in the door, to immediately run into her mother. Her mother asked her how the test went, and Serena asked,

"What test?" Her mother reminded her about the test in algebra that had taken place, and Serena did her best to stall. She finally gave in, and handed her mother the test, and her mother was furious. She sent Serena to the library to study for a make up test. Serena screamed,

"No, please mother! It's too late in the day to study! It's bad for the brain!"

Meanwhile, at the jewelry store, Morga was draining people's energy. An enormous woman's energy was being drained, and the pearls around her neck broke off. Molly was still in the shop, and was scared. She asked what was happening. When her mother gave no answer, she said,

"Momma?"

Mrs. Baker turned her head all the way around, with a smile of evil.

"I'm not your mother, Molly dear!"

Serena was lying on her bed. She wondered how Melvin did it, all that studying. She fell asleep, and then a shadow appeared in her window. The window glided open, and the shadow slinked in. Then, the window slammed shut, waking up Serena. She looked over at the source of the noise, and saw the black cat from that morning.

"AAAH! What are you doing here!?" Serena asked.

"Why Serena, I'm here to see you, of course." The cat said. The cat had spoken to Serena! She was frightened.

The cat told Serena that she was destined to be the Sailor Scout of the Moon. Serena didn't believe, saying that she's been studying too hard, and the cat showed her, by jumping up in the air, and creating a small, golden locket. Serena looked up, and asked what it was. The cat said that it was a locket for her. Serena loved it, and put it on. She admired herself in the mirror, and the cat was telling her that she was to be Sailor Moon. She listened to the cat, and it told her to say Moon Prism Power. She agreed to, and raised her hand in the air.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!!!"

In a flash of light, Serena was gone, and only a sailor suited girl remained. Her feet were now covered with long red boots, and on her forehead was a golden tiara. In her hair, where she had her "Meatballs", were red jewels. Serena looked in the mirror, and screamed.

"I have been studying too hard! I want to play Sailor V games! I don't want to live them!"

Suddenly, she heard a voice emanating from one of the jewels. It was Molly, asking for help. The cat told her to go and help, and Serena reminded her that she was just a kid. The cat said she would know what to do if she looked into her heart.

At the store, Molly was being choked by Morga. Molly struggled, and then a voice rang out.

"Let her go!" The monster looked around to see who it was. In the doorway, stood a shadow. Morga asked who it was.

In the doorway, Sailor Moon hesitated, wondering who she was for a moment. She introduced herself.

"I am Sailor Moon, the Champion of justice. And I say on behalf of the moon, I will right wrongs, and triumph over evil! And that means you!"

Morga's reply was, "Sailor Moon? Never heard of you, and I'm sure I never will again!"

She arose the people whose energy she took, and they began to go after Sailor Moon. She asked the cat, calling her Luna, for help, and the people attacked. Sailor Moon dodged. Morga ended up hitting Sailor Moon, and knocked her against a pillar. Her knee had a small scratch, and Sailor Moon didn't want to do this anymore. Morga hovered high over Sailor Moon, and extended her arms to grab her. Her arms got closer, and closer, and stopped in a bright red flash. On the ground, was a small red rose. Morga looked around for the person who had thrown it. In the window, was a man. He was wearing a tuxedo, and a cape. On his face, was a mask, and he carried a large cane. Morga asked who he was.

"I am Tuxedo Mask!" The man said. He told Sailor Moon to find the warrior within her. It was her destiny. Sailor Moon said that she didn't want to be a warrior. Sailor Moon began to cry, and the jewels in her hair used the sound, and amplified it. The people fell to the ground, and Morga was disturbed. Luna told Sailor Moon to take her tiara, and shout Moon Tiara Magic. Sailor Moon asked why, and Luna told her to do it. The words rang out with vibrant intensity.

"MOON TIARA MAGIC!!!!"

Morga was hit, and the tiara reduced her to dust. Sailor Moon was astonished.

meanwhile, in the chambers of Jedite, in the Negaverse, he was holding a small white ball of energy. Suddenly, the energy dispersed and disappeared. He was angry.

At the store, Tuxedo Mask congratulated Sailor Moon, and left. Sailor Moon had fallen in love with him, and had hearts in her eyes.

The next day, at Serena's school, Crossroads Junior High, Molly, and a few of her friends were talking about a dream they had that they were attacked by a monster and a beautiful warrior named Sailor Moon saved them. The noticed that they all had the same dream, and Molly tried to talk to Serena, who was asleep on the desk in front of them. Serena asked them to be quiet, as she had stayed up late, and needed a little more rest.
