Sailor Moon episode 4

At the school, Serena rubbed the bump on her head, and Molly apologized. Then, Melvin came up to them, and showed a large poster. It was the ad. Serena asked if he took it off a wall, and Melvin said that he won it in a contest through the Saffron Fan Club. He took out his computer, and brought up a file. He told the girls that Saffron got $5 000 000 for her first role. Serena and her friends got in on it, and started to say what they'd do if they had that much money. Melvin said that he thinks that one of them could be a star, and when they ask who, he points at Serena.

Outside a building, the star known as Saffron was signing autographs. Jedite, disguised as a worker, was watching, and thought that they could use her. All Beryl said was not to disappoint her.

At Serena's, she and Molly were trying to figure out what to do for their future roles in fame. Serena suggested sports, and Molly said no. She said rock videos, and Serena agreed. Molly went to the small ghetto blaster on Serena's dresser, and turned on the tape. It played some music, and the two began to practice. As they were practicing, Sam opened the door, and told them to be quiet. Serena told him to go away, and Molly scared him away by saying that they could use a back-up dancer. The two practiced some more, hitting each other in the face, and it ended when Serena stepped on Molly's foot. They argued, and Molly left.

Later on, Serena and her family were watching TV. Serena was thinking of how she could become a superstar. Then, her dad asked how the man on the TV got his pet monkey to do the tricks, and Serena had an idea. She headed with Luna upstairs.

Serena and Luna were practicing, Serena more enthusiastic than Luna.

Melvin knocked on the door. He yelled to the resident who had invited him, Molly. She brought him in, and put him in a dress, and make-up. Melvin said that he never wore anything but black. Molly said that it wouldn't matter once they're stars, and Melvin was already making up his award speech.

That night, at a star's house, a blue monster attacked the star, and covered her in blue webbing. The monster took the form of the star, Saffron.

A stage had been constructed, and Saffron was with Jedite, who was disguised as a promoter, were busy attracting people's attention. They told the gathering crowd of a contest where the winner would get a movie contract. A large satellite dish sat on top of the stage, and it began to send out radio waves that started to control the crowd. The crowd was motivated to enter in teams.

At Molly's apartment building, Serena, Brandy, the girl (See episode 3 for the reason for this.), and Molly were talking about the contest. Serena said that her team was set, and Molly said Serena didn't have a partner. Melvin came by, and revealed that he and Molly were partners. Molly said,

"I told you not to tell anyone!"

Melvin said,

"Fine. Then I won't tell how you begged me to do it, either!"

At the site of the contest, Saffron was on the stage, and the crowd was all signed up. A security guard came, and was concerned because no-one had told him about the gathering. Then, Saffron's manager came and asked her what she was doing. She was supposed to be at the mall. Just then, they both entered the rang of the radio waves coming from the satellite dish, and were instantly hypnotized. They made examples of themselves for the upcoming contest.

That evening, while Serena and Luna were walking, Luna suddenly stopped and said that she wasn't going to be in the contest. Serena said that she couldn't back out, and Luna said that she wasn't backing out, because she didn't agree to it in the first place. Luna told Serena that things weren't well between her and her friends, and Serena screamed,

"Who needs you anyway?!", and ran off.

While Serena was crying and running, she looked ahead, and saw Darien. She ducked into an alley. Suddenly, a voice was heard.

"Hey, Meatball Head." Darien said. "I was sure you were going to be at the talent show." Serena said that she had better things to do. She walked away mad.

The semi-finals had begun. One team told a joke.

"Why do elephants wear green sneakers?"

"Why?"

"So they can sneak around in the grass!"

Next up were Molly and Melvin, and they sang. They, like the comics, won.

Saffron said to all the winners to go to the auditorium on that Saturday.

At school, Serena was going to study hall, and noticed that the desks were stacked on the walls. The students were practicing their various routines and performances. Some began to argue about who's going to win, and Melvin said that they all were. The entire class threw streamers.

In a park, Serena and Luna were sitting on a bench. Luna asked Serena if she was okay with her backing out, and Serena says she's fine. She realizes that it's too much work for her. Meanwhile, not far away, the entire crowd was arguing.

That Saturday, Serena and Luna stood outside a large building.

"That's weird." Serena said, "I thought this place closed months ago."

Inside, "Saffron" was telling the contestants to give them lots of energy (BGM is "I Wanna be a Star"). They began to do their performances, and Saffron turned a small button on her shirt. The mirror ball hanging from the ceiling activated, and the energy of the contestants began to drain. Serena and Luna, who appeared in the door, saw the energy waves emanating from Saffron. Just then, Saffron, with a blue monster's face, turned around, and scared Serena. She ran into the bathroom.

Luna was trying to get Serena out of the bathroom. Serena agreed to fight the Negaverse, and, once again, her voice rang out with vibrant intensity.

"MOON PRISM POWER!"

In the auditorium, the final contestants fell to the ground, exasperated. Saffron laughed, and suddenly sensed a foreign presence. A voice was heard, the lights went down, and Sailor Moon appeared. The monster simply attacked, and missed. Sailor Moon went into hiding. The monster was looking for her, and Sailor Moon said to the monster, though mostly to herself,

"If you see Luna, tell her I could use her help right about now!"

Sailor Moon peered up to peak. Suddenly, the monster got her, spewing out a blue webbing, and freezing the Sailor Scout. When she was completely frozen, a red flash was seen, a rose descended, and hit Sailor Moon's hand. The ice shattered, and Tuxedo Mask appeared. Tuxedo Mask left, and the monster began to chase him. The monster didn't get far, and what was heard from behind the monster was,

"MOON TIARA VAPORIZE!!!!"

The monster was hit, and turned to dust. The mirror ball broke, and the energy of the contestants was returned.

At a star's house, the sleeping beauty, Saffron, woke up, and thought to herself that she had been working too hard.

At Serena's, she collapsed on her bed. She was tired from the past week, and Luna was proud. She then said that Serena should use all the good energy to study. Serena complained, but deep down, she had every intention of doing it.
