Sailor Moon episode 28

"Now, about Serena." Central began.

"Hey! She's not easy, guys!" Luna replied, standing up on the screen.

Central Control told Luna that she must try harder. They only had one Rainbow Crystal. The Negaverse had four.

"Don't forget Tuxedo Mask has two!" Luna said.

Central control said that they couldn't count on Tuxedo Mask, and told Luna to get Serena to take Sailor business seriously. Central ended the communications saying,

"We must get those crystals back."

Luna thought that it was time for an emergency meeting.

Serena was tired. She, Amy, Raye and Lita were waiting for Luna at the Temple. Serena said that Luna had no respect for sleep. Luna was on the top of one of the buildings, and jumped down. Luna said that she had a message from Central Control for Serena. Serena asked what it was.

"GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!"

Serena did not take it too seriously. Luna then said to the girls that the fifth Sailor Scout was going to appear soon. Raye asked what else Central told her, and Luna explained that they needed the Rainbow Crystals. Lita asked Amy if her computer could home in on them, and Amy said that she tried a program to do that, but it didn't work. Luna was confident that Amy could figure it out. Luna told them to stick together, and be alert, and Raye said,

"Don't need to tell me twice!"

"Don't even start, Raye!" Amy said.

Lita wondered aloud what the fifth Sailor Scout was like, and Luna said not to count on an arrival any time soon.

Lightning flashed outside the palace of Queen Beryl, in the darkness of the place called the Negaverse. Inside, Malachite and Zoicite were in their private chambers, looking at a small tray. On it, were four Rainbow Crystals. But they still needed three. Malachite believed in Zoicite, and the Negaforce was sure to be freed. Malachite reminded her that they still needed to figure out how to change them into the Imperium Silver Crystal, and they were still a long way from pleasing Queen Beryl.

A piece of shrimp was lifted from its box, and Molly noticed it was coconut fried. The shrimp belonged to Melvin, and he traded his shrimp for her roll. Serena popped up, and asked Molly if she was trying the old "get to his heart through his stomach" routine. Melvin was embarrassed. Molly said that it was only lunch, and suggested to Serena that she go study for their upcoming math test. Melvin screamed, as he had forgotten about it. He walked away, with his head down. Serena asked Molly if Melvin had asked her out, and Molly said no. She was too afraid to ask.

"Might give the dweeb miester a spontaneous acne attack."

And besides that, he only treated her as a pal.

Later that day, after school had ended, and Serena and Melvin had gotten themselves detention for failing the test, Serena tried to come up with an image for Melvin. She suggested martial arts, and Melvin said,

"Do I look buff to you?!"

The idea was rejected. Serena suggested poems, and Melvin reminded her that when he wrote her poems, all she did was laugh. Melvin asked what was romantic, and Serena said,

"Roses, with a black tuxedo and a cape!" The first thing that came to mind was, of course, Tuxedo Mask. Melvin said,

"No one will be able to stop me, so long as there's life on the Internet! The new upgraded Melvin is coming on-line!"

Serena and Molly were walking home, and Molly thought that someone was following them. They looked behind them, and saw a woman walking her dog, Fifi. The small poodle began to jump at the girls, and it was then that a figure raced towards them. The woman who was walking the dog was telling Serena and Molly to stop yelling, as they were scaring the dog. Melvin intervened, and was about to introduce himself, when the dog owner clubbed him with a hammer. He fell to the ground, and the woman went to buy her dog ice cream.

"I'm afraid to ask, Melvin." Molly said.

Melvin said that Molly was safe as long as he was around, and he ran off. Molly said that he was brain dead.

At the arcade, Molly and Serena stood outside. Molly suggested going in, and Melvin stepped in the way. He told them not to go in, and he laid down on the ground. He said that if they wanted to go in, it would be over his "prone body". Molly and Serena said,

"If you insist!"

Molly took a good step, and stepped on Melvin's back. Serena took an excellent step, and as she was leaping off, she said,

"Ka-runch!"

Inside, Molly said that she liked Melvin better when he was shy. Serena said to give him a chance. They were greeted by Andrew at his desk. He offered Serena two tickets to a show called "The Wacky World Wrestlers". Serena thought that he wanted to take her out, and Andrew said that he had no use for them.

"You're not going!?" Molly and Serena said.

Andrew couldn't go, because he was expecting a call from Rita that day. Serena said that she didn't want them. Molly said,

"What gives, girl?!!"

Serena had an idea. Molly would take Melvin. Melvin appeared at the sound of his name, and Serena urged Molly to ask him to go to the show. Molly reluctantly, and somewhat insincerely, asked Melvin to go to the show with her, and Melvin said that he would. He said that maybe he would even challenge the people. Molly was nothing short of embarrassed and disappointed.

Zoicite was replenishing the powers of the Black Crystal. It had been used quite extensively, and was now in need of power. It sat bathing in a cauldron, and when it was done, Zoicite drew it out. She said to herself that she would get the Rainbow Crystal the Sailor Scouts have, by use of Nephlite's old friend, Molly. Malachite would be so proud.

That evening, when the moon was out, Zoicite appeared in Molly's apartment building. She was about to go to Molly's door, when the lights by her doorway turned on. There was a silhouette of a person in a tuxedo and a cape. Zoicite knew that look. It was Tuxedo Mask. She would come back. Another time.

Melvin saw someone down the stairs disappear, and became frightened. Molly opened the door, and asked what he was doing. He said that he had just diverted and intruder, and even mentioned that the intruder vanished into thin air. Molly got angry at Melvin, and closed the door. Melvin asked Molly to believe him, and Molly told him to go home. She turned off the lights, and Melvin thought that Molly was trying to set the mood for romance. He told Molly, through the door, that he was going to camp out all night at Molly's door.

The next day, at a fair, Serena and Luna were looking for Molly and Melvin. Luna said that all Melvin was interested in was computers, and Serena said that he camped out on Molly's doorstep. She said it was romantic, and Luna said that it was silly. Besides, they had nothing in common. Serena saw the new couple, and went to spy on them.

At the show, a man who was in a red costume, looking like a Power Ranger, challenged another actor, portraying a monster, to a fight. They fought, and Molly and Melvin watched. Molly turned to Melvin, and said,

"Can we have lunch if it's not too violent for you?"

Melvin had a lunch packed for them. On the stage, the red man (get it?) hit the monster, and the crowd cheered. It was then that Serena appeared, and in the meantime, Zoicite was riding a carousel. She had planned to hit Molly with energy from the Black Crystal, to make Molly evil. She began to power up the Black Crystal. Meanwhile, Luna sensed a change in energy, and looked to see Zoicite. Zoicite aimed the Crystal, and fired a bolt of energy. Molly, in the meantime, was clapping for the stunt man, and dropped her book. She went to pick it up, and felt the wind as the energy bolt flew past her, and hit the red man. He transformed into a huge monster. The crowd was very pleased, and the monster emerged. The monster said that it was time to fight for real, and the person in the monster costume was nervous. Zoicite, on the carousel, noticed that she had hit the stunt man, not Molly. The monster hit the man in the costume, and then attacked the crowd with small green balls. Everyone was trapped in them, and they seemed to grow. Serena noticed that something was wrong, and saw Molly, the only one left standing. The monster loomed before her, and Serena retrieved Molly. The monster was about to attack, when Melvin intervened. He attacked the monster with shrimp, and nothing happened. Melvin ran towards the monster, and hit it with his back pack. The monster hit Melvin, sending him flying, and Melvin got up. Molly's eyes were tearing up, and she said to herself,

"Melvin's meatloaf!"

No one could see her.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!!"

Melvin attacked the monster, and was struck down with every attempt. He finally fell unconscious, and Molly went to stop the monster. The monster hit Molly with a small green ball, and trapped her like all the other people. The ball she was in was growing rapidly. Then, revelation came. Sailor Moon appeared, and the monster attacked her. Sailor Moon descended, dodging the small green orbs, and said,

"I'm Sailor Moon! On behalf of the Moon, I will right wrongs, and triumph over evil! And that means you!"

Zoicite appeared.

"Don't you mean me Sailor Moon?"

Zoicite asked a favor of Sailor Moon. She asked for the Rainbow Crystal. Sailor Moon refused, and Zoicite threatened her, saying that all the people in the green balls would die if she didn't give it up. Sailor Moon said to set them free, and Zoicite said she would, if she had the Rainbow Crystal. Sailor Moon gave it to her, and then a cane hit Zoicite's hand. Zoicite dropped the crystal, and the cane was courtesy of Tuxedo Mask. Zoicite blasted Tuxedo Mask with needles, but they were deflected. Meanwhile, Sailor Moon grabbed the Rainbow Crystal, and ran with it. It was then that the monster attacked, and Sailor Moon fell, dropping the crystal. Zoicite was distracted, but reacted just in time to dodge Tuxedo Mask's attempt to hit her. Zoicite disappeared when Tuxedo Mask attacked again, and Tuxedo Mask was swinging at the small tornado of flower pedals. Inside the green ball, Molly fell unconscious. Sailor Moon had to do something to save Molly. She attacked the monster.

"MOON TIARA MAGIC!!"

The monster was knocked down, and Sailor Moon finished it off.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!!"

The people were freed. Luna was proud of Sailor Moon, but Sailor Moon was running to the Rainbow Crystal. Zoicite appeared, and Luna tried to get the Rainbow Crystal, but was knocked away by Zoicite. Zoicite left, laughing. Tuxedo Mask said that Sailor Moon had done well, but she should've been watching the Rainbow Crystal. Tuxedo Mask assured her that he would get the other five.

As the saying goes, the show must go on, and that was exactly what was happening. The Wacky World Wrestlers show was resuming, and Molly and Melvin were watching. Molly said that Melvin had been brave, and he said that he said that it was nothing sharing his favorite milkshake couldn't fix. Molly knew it was Vanilla and Prunes, and for him, she could handle it.

That night, Serena was staring into the sky. Luna felt stupid for not getting the Crystal, and apologized to Serena. Serena didn't need Luna to apologize. She remembered that Tuxedo Mask had promised to get the Rainbow Crystals, and she pleaded with the stars to tell her that Tuxedo Mask was on their side.
