Sailor Moon episode 37

"Four down, three to go!" Darien said looking at the small images in the crystal. He saw Hercules, and said to himself,

"Nice comeback for the seventh Shadow."

It was winter on Earth, or in Tokyo to be precise. The phone in Amy's room rang, and she picked it up. It was Greg. Amy invited him over, and Greg said that he couldn't. Greg asked her to turn on the television, and Amy saw a news report that said that artist Peggy Jones was gone. Greg said that she was missing, and Amy asked if he meant as in kidnapped. Greg said that the Negaverse was after the Rainbow Crystal carriers again. Amy said that she and the others would come and protect him, and he refused to tell. He hung up. He thought to himself that he wouldn't let the Negaverse get him. He left the phone booth he was using, and walked away. Just then, Lita came by, and saw that the person she just passed was Greg. She was called on the communicator, and it was Luna. She told Lita to go to the temple right away, and Lita ran.

Malachite was standing before his Queen, at his own insistence, for once. He couldn't figure out why she wanted the Rainbow Crystal carriers, and Beryl said that they had one last chance to get the power of the Seven Shadows. Malachite had thought they had been destroyed, and Beryl told him of a secret weapon in the Seven Shadows. Once they all are caught inside the Black Crystal, the Shadows would meld and form the mightiest warrior of all. The Invincible Shadow.

"The Sailor Scouts won't have a chance against the Invincible one, and I'll finally be rid of them!"

Malachite was impressed, however he made a mistake. He questioned why she sent Prince Darien.

"Instead of you, you mean?" Beryl said, growing angry, "You would question me like Zoicite?"

Chad and Gramps were shoveling snow at the Cherry Hill Temple. Inside, the girls were talking. Mina asked Amy if Greg was sure the Negaverse was after him, and Amy said that he had a vision. Artemis wondered what they were up to. Lita got up, and said to Amy that they had to go. Amy said that they didn't know where to find Greg. Lita said that she saw him, and he was probably downtown. The went, and Lita told Raye to watch over her Grandfather. All of a sudden, Serena began crying. Luna asked why, and Serena said something about a guy that was "to die for", in the comic she was reading. Raye and Serena fought, for Serena had ruined the story for Raye. Luna and Artemis wished that they cared about the Negaverse as much.

Darien was dressed as a local. Though the only thing separating him from the ice cold of the winter was a black suit, he seemed to be fine. He could sense the sixth Shadow. He was standing at a crosswalk, and was waiting. The lights changed, and Darien stood as he saw Greg. He approached the child, and they bumped into each other. Darien tried to get him to come along, but Greg played dumb. Darien said that he thought Greg was supposed to be a fortune teller, and asked what the one reason he could have for talking to him could be. Greg knew. Darien told him not to fight.

"I don't have to. The way I see it, I get away without exchanging a blow."

"Don't insult me, boy!" Darien said.

"Your shades are blinding you, geek!" Greg replied. He yelled out, and ran away. Darien was surrounded, and couldn't teleport, so he ran after the boy.

Lita and Amy were looking for Greg, and Amy wanted to go back. They couldn't find Greg.

"I don't believe this, I mean, the guy's practically your boyfriend, isn't he Amy?"

"Where did you get that nutzoid idea?" Amy said, "Greg and I are just good friends."

"Ever heard of that river in Egypt, De-Nile?" Lita said, making an obvious pun. Amy said that she didn't have time for a boyfriend, with school, and being a Sailor Scout. Lita said that Sailor Scouts got to have fun too, and said that she was looking for excuses. Lita theorized that Amy was keeping him at a distance. Amy saw Greg, and went to get him. She told Lita about it, and they went together.

Greg turned into an alley, and ran. He saw two silhouettes, and it was Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter. Prince Darien appeared, and Mercury and Jupiter were surprised.

"Hey, that's Darien!"

"Correction." The Prince said, "Prince Darien, champion of the Negaverse." Prince Darien told the two to move. Jupiter told Mercury to leave with Greg. Mercury said that Jupiter should go, and Jupiter said that Mercury should go, because of what they talked about. Mercury left, and Jupiter was ready to face Prince Darien of the Negaverse. Jupiter attacked first.

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!!!"

The blast of lightning missed Darien.

Mercury was running with Greg, and called Mina. She told them that Jupiter was fighting Prince Darien.

"Don't you mean Tuxedo Mask?" Mina asked. Mercury said that it was definitely Darien, and Serena and Raye, who were still fighting about the comic up to this point, went to get her wand.

Sailor Jupiter was attacking, this time with herself. She was throwing punches at Prince Darien, and missed.

"Very impressive, you didn't land a single punch." Jupiter said she was warming up. Darien got ready, and attacked Sailor Jupiter. All he really did was throw missing punches until Jupiter tripped on a garbage can, and fell. Jupiter got right back up, and Prince Darien got ready for the final kill. He threw a punch. Jupiter, brave as she was, stood there, to take the punishment that he could dish out to her. Darien's hand stopped, and only a wind passed by her.

"You've got guts, Jupiter!" He said. He left.

"Traitor!"

Meanwhile, Mercury and Greg were looking for a place to go, and saw an amusement park. They went in.

Serena and Luna were looking for Sailor Jupiter, and couldn't find her. Serena slipped, and fell. She began to cry, and it was then that Jupiter came to her. Serena stopped, and Luna asked where Darien was. He had gotten away.

In the park, Mercury and Greg arrived. Mercury didn't like it, but Greg said that he had always wanted to go there with her on a date. He said that he was too scared, and if he asked her out, it might ruin their friendship. Mercury was astonished. She said that she had felt the same way, and realized that she was doing as Lita had said. She was scared, and tried to be more interested in other things. Greg told Mercury to leave. He would make a deal with the Negaverse, and Mercury said that he couldn't. He couldn't sacrifice himself. It would be a lot like running away. Darien appeared, as the lights on the Ferris wheel nearby went on. Meanwhile, Serena and Jupiter saw that the lights were on, but the park was supposed to be closed. They went to check it out. Darien came down.

"You traitor!" Mercury yelled, "I can't believe you let the Negaverse turn you against us! You're the enemy!"

Darien told Mercury to move, and Mercury attacked.

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!!"

The fog came, and Darien appeared right in front of Mercury. He leapt into the air, and used the Black Crystal to capture Greg. Mercury told Darien to let him go, and Darien had no intention of that. Mercury said, with tears in her eyes, that the people he had captured had no more crystals. Darien challenged Mercury to a fight, and then he transformed into Tuxedo Mask. Mercury had an idea. She charged Darien, and when he moved to dodge, she attacked again.

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!!"

Tuxedo Mask blocked the bubbles with his cane, and the fog came again. Mercury swooped by, and took the Crystal.

"Dangerous to underestimate your enemies, Beryl's a lousy teacher!" Mercury said. She took the Black Crystal and smashed it on the ground. All the people were free. Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter came, and Sailor Moon noticed that the people were the carriers of the Rainbow Crystals. Jupiter and Mercury combined their powers to defeat Darien.

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!!"

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!!"

The combination hit Darien hard, and Sailor Moon finished the job.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!!!"

Tuxedo Mask began to remember the things he had been robbed of. He remembered a time with Raye. Luna told Sailor Moon not to give up. Darien reverted to himself, and fell to the ground. Sailor Moon also collapsed. Luna congratulated Sailor Moon, and Darien was taken again by the Negaverse.

In the Negaverse, Beryl was very accepting of her defeat. No matter what Sailor Moon did, she would have the world.

The next day was significantly warmer than the previous, and Greg and Amy were riding the Ferris wheel. They were going to go around one more time, and Serena was angry that Amy was taking so long. Raye and Serena argued that she was jealous, and Lita broke it up. Raye and Serena argued again, when Mina said,

"Someday, you might have boyfriends."
