Sailor Moon Episode 123

Episode title: Sweet Dreams

One night, Rini was dreaming of Pegasus. He told her to stop the enemy before they could take over the Crystal Wood. Pegasus flew away, telling Rini to call him if she needed help. Rini shot up in bed, startled.

The next day during a rain storm, Serena came home. She smelled her mom's lemon pie. She ran excitedly into the kitchen, but found that Sammy and Rini had eaten the whole thing. Rini held out a piece for Serena, but ate it herself. Serena wondered why she didn't get any pie, and Rini said it was for being perfect. They showed their tests to Serena, which both had 100% on them. Serena said that monkeys could get 100% on those tests.

"Which is not the case for this test, I presume?" her mother broke in, holding out a test with a 28% written on it, "What happened, Serena?"

"I suppose you found that after cleaning under my bed today?!" Serena exclaimed.

Sammy and Rini remarked at how bad the grade was. Serena's mom said she was bad at math too, but not 28% bad.

"You might do better if you studied," said Serena's mom.

"No she can't! She has to talk on the phone and then she has to read comics!" Rini accused.

Serena admitted her grade was bad, but thought she deserved comfort food. She threw a fit. Her mom said she had split the pie into four pieces, for them and dad. Rini tried to sneak out, but Serena caught her.

"We ate 100% of the pie to match out scores!" Rini told her.

Rini stuck her tongue out at Serena and ran. Serena's mom told Serena not to yell at Rini. Serena got mad, asking her mom why she always took Rini's side. Serena told her mother that she thought her mom didn't love her anymore and ran out the door. She returned for an umbrella, but then left again.

Serena and the girls met at a cafe. Raye thought that the two fighting over food was pathetic Serena complain that Rini got her share of everything. The girls reminded her that her mom loved her, and Rini was far from home.

Meanwhile, Tiger's Eye was brooding over his losses. Hawk's Eye chose a picture of a woman and decided to go himself.

At sundown, Rini was worried about Serena's extended absense. She went to ask Serena's mom if Serena had called, to find her staring at a pile of pictures of Serena. They looked together at a picture of Serena before she was 1, Serena's part in a school play, and Serena's first day of school. Rini wondered who would take pictures of her as she grew up.

"These pictures are a record of my dream, Rini" Serena's mom says, snapping Rini out of her thoughts, "My dream was always to be a wonderful mom, and have my kids grow up to be happy and healthy, and somewaht educated, despite their efforts not to be."

She showed Rini her perfect dream picture- a picture of the whole family together, including Rini. Rini agreed with Serena's mom. Serena's mom said she felt so lucky to have Rini, and that she loved her so much. Rini felt bad for eating the pad because Serena wasn't home. Serena's mom told Rini not to worry, Serena would be home soon. She said to Rini tought, that she should apoogize to Serena.

Meanwhile, Serena was thinking about what the girls had said to her. She resolved herself to learn to share with Rini.

Rini and Mom were walking home from the market. They had bought a lot of lemons to make a pie for each person. Hawk's Eye was watching from the bushes. He snapped his fingers, and Mom's bag broke. As she and Rini picked up the lemons, a disguised Hawk's Eye offered his assistance. He purposely touched Mom's hand when she reached for a lemon.

"I can't believe it's you!" Hawk's Eye gasped.

"Have we met before?" Serena's mom asked, "You don't look familiar."

Hawk's Eye sobbed, "Mama!" Both Rini and Serena's mom looked shocked. "At last! I found you!"

"I'm sorry... did you say 'Mama'?" Serena's mom asked him.

Hawk's Eye gathered himself together. "Please, pretend I didn't! It's just you remind me so much of the woman I am looking for!"

Hawk's Eye reached into his pocket and made a locket appear. He showed them a picture of a woman who closely resembled Serena's mom. Hawk's Eye said he was sure his so-called "Search" was over. When mom asked, Hawk's Eye said his mother's name was Ikuko. When Hawk's Eye rattled off some made up last name, Ikuko said that she wasn't his mother. Hawk's Eye got up to leave, and pretended to faint. Ikuko wondered what was wrong. Hawk's Eye said he was very hungry. Ikuko wanted to help him. Rini volunteered to run to the store. Hawk's Eye smirked to himself.

Meanwhile, as Serena walked down the street, she came upon Rini. They both asked each other what they were doing there. Ikuko was helping Hawk's Eye. He suddenly grabbed her hand.

"You are just so beautiful." Hawk's Eye said. Ikuko blushed. "I think that's mostly what made me weak in the knees, you know."

Ikuko was flattered, but before she could say anything, Hawk's Eye interrupted her. Serena and Rini crept in the bushes, watching Hawk's Eye and Ikuko. The two watched in horror as Hawk's Eye moved closer and closer to Ikuko. Ikuko kept turning him down. Finally, he stood up and snapped his fingers. A blanket with an odd insignia appeared and draped in front of Hawk's Eye. When the blanket disappeared, Hawk's Eye was in his true form. Ikuko was understandably frightened.

"A one!" Hawk's Eye shouted. "A two! A three!"

Ikuko was promptly trapped, and her Dream Mirror appeared. Serena and Rini transformed.

"MINI PRISM POWER!"

"MOON COSMIC POWER!"

Ikuko fainted. Hawk's Eye was about to look into Ikuko's Dream Mirror, but a voice stopped him.

"It's Champions of Justice!" A voice shouted.

"How dare you take advantage of mom's heart!" A second voice shouted. The first voice was Sailor Mini Moon. The second was Sailor Moon.

"Especially when she's about to make our favorite dessert!" Mini Moon shouted.

"I am Sailor Moon!"

"And I am Sailor Mini Moon!"

"And we're going to give you your just desset..."

"In the name of the Moon!"

Hawk's Eye was unimpressed, and called forth his monster, Cannonball. True to its name, it was a monster with a large cannon. It jumped into the cannon and lit the fuse. When the fuse expired, Cannonball was fired at the two Sailor Scouts.

"VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!"

Venus' Love Chain wrapped around the two Sailor Scouts, and hauled them out of the monster's path. They both landed hard on the ground. Hawk's Eye ordered Cannonball to attack again, and Cannonball got into its cannon, and fired. Meanwhile, Sailor Mini Moon was running towards Hawk's Eye, but Cannonball hit the ground and exploded, sending Mini Moon flying. Hawk's Eye made his second attempt at looking into Ikuko's dream mirror.

"PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!"

Sailor Mini Moon's small pink hearts pelted Hawk's Eye in the face. Sailor Mini Moon warned Hawk's Eye not to look at Ikuko's Dream Mirror. Hawk's Eye was about to strike Mini Moon, but Sailor Moon rammed into Hawk's Eye, sending him flying back. Hawk's Eye got back up.

"RAINBOW MOON HEART ATTACK!"

Hawk's Eye was able to halt Sailor Moon's attack with his hand, even though it did push him backwards. He produced a torch, and blew a huge tongue of flames at the Sailor Scouts, hitting them hard. Cannonball quickly immobilized the other Sailor Scouts. With the path clear, Hawk's Eye looked at Ikuko's Dream Mirror. He didn't find Pegasus in her dreams. He ordered Cannonball to get rid of all their enemies. Cannonball loaded itself into its cannon, and aimed itself at Ikuko. Sailor Moon and Mini Moon watched in horror. Then, Sailor Mini Moon called for Pegasus' help. In the sky, a golden flash blinded Hawk's Eye. Pegasus gave his power to Sailor Moon's and Sailor Mini Moon's brooches. They both changed. Hearing Pegasus' instructions, Mini Moon told Sailor Moon what to shout to evoke their new powers.

"MOON COSMIC DREAM ACTION!"

The two Sailor Scouts changed to Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Mini Moon. Their wands were changed into their powerful new wands.

"My friend Pegasus, please help us protect sweet dreams!" Cried Sailor Mini Moon.

"CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!"

Sailor Mini Moon's attack evoked the powers of Pegasus. Sailor Moon activated her powers in Pegasus, and unleashed her newest and most powerful attack yet.

"MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!"

As quickly as anything, Cannoball was destroyed. Hawk's Eye retreated through a small portal, and Ikuko was freed.

"Super Sailor Scouts..." A voice called. It was Pegasus. "Whenever you need my power, just hold up your treasures and call my name. I will be here." With that, he disappeared. Sailor Moon simply said aloud that they had a new friend.

Later, Ikuko had made enough pie to feed her guests - Serena, Rini, Darien, Amy, Raye, Lita and Mina. Serena and Rini argued over a piece, and Lita reminded Serena that she got to lick the bowl. Darien said it would be too hard to cut each piece evenly anyway. Amy said that it wouldn't be impossible - just divide the 360 degrees of the pie by 10 to get 36 degree pieces. Mina thought Amy was nerdy for thinking of that, and the entire crowd started arguing with Ikuko looking on.

"Quiet!" Ikuko shouted. "I'm waiting for compliments!"

The crowd each tried a piece.

"Delicious!" They all said in chorus.

"Of course it is!" Ikuko said. She couldn't stifle the laughs that came with that sentence.

Serena asked Rini which mom she loved best - her future mom, or her lemon pie mom. Rini gave her the honest answer: She loved them both. Rini finished her piece of pie, and said she wanted more. Serena told Rini that there was only enough for her dad and Sammy. Rini said she'd just blame it on Serena. The girls all shared a laugh, except of course, for Serena.
