Sailor Moon Episode 141

Episode title: A True Reflection

This episode isn't as detailed in the last half because the stupid tape stopped in my VCR, and I used Hitoshi Doi's episode summary to help me remember what happened.

"Yelled at again." Tiger's Eye sighed, raising his glass. "I'm bumming out 'cause we really worked hard."

Tiger's Eye slammed his drink on the bar.

"I know." Hawk's Eye complained. "It's not fair. He doesn't even give us a chance to explain."

Fish Eye stared quietly and pensively at her glass.

"Plus, it's just impossible." Tiger's Eye said. "It's not like he's given us good tips on where Pegasus is hiding. It's no wonder we haven't found him yet. But he still complains like crazy!"

Hawk's Eye suddenly did a dead on impression of Zirconia. Tiger's Eye was surprised at first, but laughed along with Hawk's Eye. Fish Eye was still pensive and lost in thought.

"I wonder..." She said. The other two turned to her.

"What's with the long face, Fish Eye?" Hawk's Eye asked.

"No, I'm okay, really." Fish Eye replied. "I was just wondering what will happen to us if we keep failing. What do you guys think?"

Tiger's Eye thought that nothing would really happen to them. Fish Eye disagreed. Just then, Zircon flew in, and gave the Trio a picture. Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye didn't want to go after the target, since it was a guy. Fish Eye swooned more than ever. Her target was Darien. Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye commented that Fish Eye's targets never fell in love with her. Fish Eye was sure that if she got serious with a target, they could stay in love with her.

Serena and the girls had dragged Darien to a pet store. Serena was lugging Darien around the store looking at fish. Rini was looking at a particular fish, and Diana popped out of Lita's purse. She thought the fish looked delicious. Mina asked Darien if he already had fish. He did, but wanted one that was a little harder to take care of. Serena said it was okay, as long as it didn't take away much time from her (Gee, could Serena get more disgusting?). Mina decided it was her job to cool the pair off, being so hot for each other.

No one noticed a quiet form watching Darien. Darien had finally gotten some time to himself, and was looking at a fish.

"I think fish are quiet and soothing." A voice said. "Why do you like them?"

Darien stood up, but did not see the source of the voice.

"Is it because your girlfriend is so annoying, you need something to relax your mind when you go home?" The voice continued. Darien told the voice to show itself. The person showed herself. It was of course, Fish Eye.

She told Darien that she felt sorry for his fish, because glass seperated them. Suddenly, Fish Eye cut her finger on a small plate of glass she was holding. Darien went to take care of it. Fish Eye blushed and smiled at her hero.

"Now, give me your hand." Darien said. "Uhh, for the bandage!"

Fish Eye complied. Darien touched her hand. For one second, something very strange happened. The second Darien touched Fish Eye's wounded hand, a golden light emanated from Darien's hand. Fish Eye was startled, and jumped back. She wondered what was happening.

"Darien!!!!" A jealous Serena voice shouted. Darien turned around and saw her. Serena was extremely angry because of her jealousy. Darien tried to explain.

Fish Eye decided to prey upon Serena's anger, and told her that Darien was just telling her that they were talking about his 'girlfriend'. Fish Eye told Serena that Darien had said that he couldn't wait to get home to his fish everday because Serena was so annoying. Serena got more and more angry, and it peaked when Fish Eye grabbed Darien's arm and told Serena Darien was hers. Serena karate chopped the two apart, and asked who Fish Eye was. Fish Eye said she was Serena's rival in love. Serena started yelling at Darien, and the other girls came up to the scene. Diana popped out of Lita's purse again, smelling fish. Fish Eye was scared, and decided to go for now. The girls watched confused, as Serena's rival disappeared down the street.

Fish Eye ducked into a small alleyway.

Bad timing. I'm sure I felt some kind of strong energy. She thought. Maybe Pegasus does live in his dreams. Whatever... he's one fine hunk of guy! I think I could get serious with him. And the sooner, the better.

Meanwhile, Zirconia was going to his throne, wondering why they always missed Pegasus, even when he appears during every attack. He heard girls giggling in the darkness of the circus tent.

"Well, isn't this a treat?" Zirconia said to the voices.. "You've finally decided to wake up."

There were four girls in silhouette. They were batting around a small ball that looked like an irregularly shaped cell. They knocked it downwards, and Zirconia used his powers to make the ball float to him.

"I agree with you, but it's a little early to break this ball." Zirconia said. "We can still use them. We all know they're doomed to be sacrificed."

The four girls stood in silence, still unseen by the light.

"I can see that our queen, Nehelenia, is losing patience, but not to worry." Zirconia continued. "Something will be done very soon."

The next day, Darien was walking home from school, when he suddenly came upon Fish Eye again.

"Darien." She called out. Darien stopped walking. "That is your name, isn't it?" She asked.

"It's you." Darien said.

Fish Eye just replied, "Hey, can I talk to you?"

Darien politely refused, and started to go on his way. Suddenly, Fish Eye grabbed him, spun him around, and lovingly pinned Darien against the wall. She put her arms on his shoulders, and leaned in close. She tried to kiss him, but he refused her.

"What?" Fish Eye asked. "Nobody has to know about this."

"That's really not the problem." Darien replied.

"Aren't I attractive enough?" Fish Eye said.

"Yes you are." Darien replied. "But, I'm only interested in my Serena."

Fish Eye didn't believe that he could be interested in Serena. She asked how he could be.

"What's so special about her?" Fish Eye asked. Darien tried to leave, but Fish Eye stopped him again.

"This is the first I've ever felt love with my heart." Fish Eye said. She tried to kiss Darien again, but was again refused.

Fish Eye drew back, but remained close to Darien. "But why?" She asked. "Fine, then tell me. What is it that makes Serena so special?"

"My Serena is full of life and dreams." Darien replied simply.

Fish Eye gasped. "Dreams?"

After her encounter with Darien, Fish Eye retired to the circus tent. She was sitting in a part that would be considered "behind the scenes". As she was thinking, Tiger's Eye came in, asking what was wrong. Fish Eye asked Tiger's Eye if dreams were important. Tiger's Eye didn't really know. Before anything could really happen, Fish Eye trapped Tiger's Eye and attempted to extract his Dream Mirror. A mirror formed, but finally faded from existance. Fish Eye walked off deep in thought, leaving Tiger's Eye strapped to the upright board.

Some time later, the Amazon Trio was standing before Zirconia. Zirconia, luckily enough, had a message from their queen, Nehelenia.

"I didn't know we had a queen." Fish Eye remarked. An obscured face appeared in front of Zirconia, and gave them an ultimatum: Find Pegasus by the next full moon, or be returned to that from whence they came. Nehelenia's 'face' disappeared. The Trio asked what the queen meant. A mirror appeared behind them, and Zirconia finally revealed where they had come from. In the mirror, the three reflections of Hawk's Eye, Fish Eye and Tiger's Eye turned into shadows of different creatures. Hawk's Eye was a hawk, Tiger's Eye's a tiger, and Fish Eye's a fish. Zirconia told the Trio that they had been given human forms from those of their respective animals.

Zirconia told the Trio that Pegasus' horn was actually a golden crystal that would allow them to keep their human forms. Determined to find them, Fish Eye set out again.

Meanwhile, Darien was sitting on a bench, reading. Fish Eye suddenly appeared, and Darien was suddenly wary of her. Fish Eye simply asked if he was waiting for Serena, whom she called "the girl with many dreams". Darien said he was. Fish Eye made her attempt to be with Darien. She told him that she just wanted his time when he wasn't with Serena. No one would have to know, at least until the next full moon. Sadly for Fish Eye, Darien refused. Fish Eye stood up angered, and revealed her true form.

"One! Two! Three!" Fish Eye shouted. Darien was promptly trapped and his Dream Mirror appeared.

Meanwhile, Rini and Serena were walking together. Serena was hoping for a quiet date with Darien, but since Rini loved him romantically too, she wanted to go along. Suddenly, they heard Darien's shouts, and decided to help him out.

"MOON COSMIC DREAM ACTION!"

Unfortunately for Fish Eye, the Sailor Scouts appeared. Unluckily for the Sailor Scouts, Fish Eye sent her Remlis after them. It was a trampoline artist, and it placed a trampoline underneath the Sailor Scouts. While the monster and two Sailor Scouts were bouncing, Fish Eye looked at Darien's Dream Mirror. No Pegasus. She drew some daggers to kill Darien, but stopped herself. Finally seeing the resolution of her existance, she kissed Darien softly and lovingly, and left quietly. Darien was freed from his bonds, and fell to the ground softly.

Sailor Moon, seeing Darien free, decided to attack.

"CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!"

"MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!"

The Remlis was destroyed, and peace was restored, at least for the moment. For the poor Sailor Scouts though, they broke their fall by landing in a tree.

After the fact, it was raining hard all over Tokyo. Fish Eye, in her disguise, was sitting in the rain quietly, sadly looking at the ground. She knew she couldn't return to the circus tent and face Zirconia. She knew that her existance was going to end soon.

Serena was walking through the rain to wherever she was going. She spotted Fish Eye sitting on the bench, soaked to the bone. She walked to the girl, and smiled softly.

"How do you possibly expect to be a worthy rival of mine when you're soaking wet?" Serena asked. Fish Eye just looked quietly at Serena.
