Episode title: Follow the Leader

Unfortunately, due to the fact that there is no storyline to this particular episode, I can't summarize it in the detail that you have come to expect from me. I can, however, give you the highlights of this episode.

Basic summary: The girls recall past events, and try to decide who deserves the most credit, and who the leader should be.

  1. Moon Crystal Power sequence.
  2. The meeting of Sailor Pluto, from "Future Shocked".
  3. Luna's introduction to Serena from "A Moon Star is Born". Serena has Terri Hawkes' voice.
  4. Rini's appearance in "Serena Times Two".
  5. The King of the Earth's appearance from "Legend of the Negamoon".
  6. Sailor Moon's fateful battle with Cardian Racey, from "Cherry Blossom Time".
  7. The Battle against the Genie of the Time Warp from "Future Shocked".
  8. Sailor Moon's first battle from "A Moon Star is Born", where Morga is about to get Sailor Moon with her hand, but is stopped by a mysterious cloaked stranger... ;-)
  9. The first time Jedite is gathering his energy, and Morga dies. He loses the energy, and says "Morga, too bad. You failed."
  10. The Sailor Scouts appear, and they battle the Negamoon Sisters, from "Naughty 'N' Nice". The entire battle from that episode, including Rubeus' appearance is shown. (BGM is "Who do you Think you are?")
  11. The Sailor Scouts "Star" transformations. In order, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Moon, while the "Who do you Think you are?" comes to a close.
  12. The Autumn Festival (Referred to as the school concert) from "Raye's day in the Spotlight".
  13. Mars' fight against Catsy from "Enemies no More".
  14. Serena watches Raye trip on the sidewalk in front of Darien, from "An Unnatural Phenomena".
  15. Lita's skating display from "Ice Princess".
  16. Lita's housecleaning from "Too Many Girlfriends".
  17. Serena first meets Lita, and eats her lunch, from "Jupiter Comes Thundering in".
  18. The Sailor V game, with its infamous pink screen.
  19. Sailor Venus' appearance to help Sailor Moon in "Kindergarten Chaos".
  20. Mina and Rini's bumbling at Serena's house in "No Thanks, Nurse Venus!".
  21. Mina spills soup on Raye, and blows up Raye's tape deck, from "No Thanks, Nurse Venus!".
  22. Mina and Serena swooning over Misha from "Ice Princess".
  23. Birdy against Amy in the Chess Tower from "Checkmate".
  24. The monster tries to force Amy into her computer screen, from "Computer School Blues".
  25. Greg makes Amy promise to destroy him, and Amy tells him he makes his own future, from "Mercury's Mental Match".
  26. Amy rides in Darien's car on the rescue of the Sailor Scouts from "Sailor Mercury Moving on?" (My fave episode).
  27. The Sailor Scouts battle against Malachite, from "The Past Returns".
  28. Sailor Moon's battle against Rubeus from "Rubeus Strikes out".
  29. Princess Serena's battle against Queen Beryl from "Day of Destiny".
  30. The final battle with the Doom Phantom from "Final Battle".
  31. Sailor Moon wakes up, and goes to Rini, who's unconcsious, after the final battle. This is, of course, from "Final Battle".

Character developments

These facts are stated by the characters themselves, so don't doubt me on these.

  1. Luna didn't choose who the Sailor Scouts were supposed to be. Their destinies were set long ago, during the time of the Silver Millenium.
  2. Sailor Pluto is the guardian of time.
  3. Rini is from the future.
  4. Raye's a fortuneteller.
  5. Mina states:
    "Yeah? Well, I was Sailor V long before any of you knew what a Sailor Scout was!"
  6. Raye is a good fighter, courageous, a natural leader, is fast and agile, and handles situations with grace. She brags a lot, though.
  7. Lita is physically the strongest, skates well, can clean house like a pro, and can mediate conflicts. Of course, she can cook, but she pines over old boyfriends.
  8. Mina was Sailor V, and was a movie star. She had video games, clothes, and even a doll. Children love her, but she can be klutzy.
  9. Amy fights well, but is not the best. She is better at analyzing situations and advising. She worries about the little things sometimes, and misses the bigger picture. She is fiercely loyal to her friends.

New scenes

Okay, okay! Here are the new scenes you've been waiting to find out about.

  1. The episode starts with the screen split four ways, each showing the Sailors in various poses, and other things, like the Moon Kingdom, the King of Earth, etc.
  2. Two shadows stand in a tree, dressed as Sailor Scouts. One of them tosses a crystal out of the tree, and they both disappear...
  3. In a dark laboratory, a scientist is surrounded by test tubes, and he looks like Melvin. His face is shadowed, and he's talking to a woman with long red hair.
  4. The world around Raye is red. Only she is alive, and the Sailor Scouts are statues. A black tornado rips through Tokyo towards the Sailors...
  5. Raye is attacked by a new kind of monster.
  6. Here are the final lines said in the English dub of Sailor Moon:
    Serena: "Hey, I say we confront some cheesecake first! What do you say?"
    Amy, Raye, Lita, Mina: "Good idea, Meatball Head!"
