Hunter's Rest

You stand before an enormous temple. The walls of this temple look more like a machine
than an actual building, but several sections of the walls are made of stone. Those sections are engraved with pictures of people attacking or being attacked by biomonsters. The image of one woman in particular stands out.
After a moment, you realize that this woman is in all the images.
"Greetings, travelers."
A strange woman steps through the door and smiles at you.
"I am called Nari, and I am the guardian of this shrine. The Hunter's Rest is dedicated to
the most courageous of all Hunters, Alys Brangwin, sometimes called the 'Eight Stroke Sword'. She lost her life in the battle against Zeo, but her memory lives on. Her body rests within this temple; actually, the temple was built around her grave, as we did not wish to disturb her spirit. Also inside you will find painting of Alys and her companions, which were given to me by a strange woman called Catsai. She wouldn't tell me where she got them, though.... Well, anyway. Some of Alys's companions even reside here in the temple; perhaps you will be able to meet them. I have created several pictures that the Earthmen call 'icons' and a matching wallpaper, and I believe that Professor Holt and Demi are just now putting them up on their computer. I also hope to hire some bards, so that we will be able to have some music here in the temple. Right now, I'm afraid the temple is rather small--well, maybe not small, exactly-" She pauses and glances up at the gigantic building. "-but it is rather empty. It is growing quickly, though, so visit often. Please, enter."

Many thanks go to PosiBolt for the "Her Last Breath" midi file!
And to Jayde, who made a lot of the images found on this page.
Any images not found in Jayde's PS IV cinema image pack were made by me. Feel free to use them, but please put a link to my page, and e-mail me first, okay? I want to see your page too!
And, as always, this page is 100% link free. If you want to link to this page, I have absolutely nothing against it, publicity is always a good thing, so go right ahead. And I'll be more than willing to put up a link to your page, too.

You're the human, Motavian, Dezolian or freaky-creature-of-the-Profound-Darkness to access this page since I started this counter on 2/29/00. Don't you feel special?
