"At that time..." "I had an impression, as if 12 Gold ones smiled.." "like our brothers..." "Yes we fought together since mythological times" "Weren't we brothers..?" "Now, time is coming to say good bye to these brothers..." "Farewell hot blooded warriors..." "Farewell Gold..." "Saints..." Episode:It is from manga #26 Why:The Gold Saints have little in terms of plot during the entire plot yet they are supposed to be the pilars of Sainthood. Even though some Gold Saints were not faithfull to Athena in the beginning now they redeem themselves and stand together as they always have to fight for Athena one last time. Other Comments: |

Episode:In the Hades' chapter, I think. Why:Because it was very beautiful. Saga and other dead saints pretended to work for Hades in order to save Athena. After Shaka's death, Athena realized the 8th sense. She pulled out the golden dagger that Saga used 13 years ago, and cut her own throat. Episode:It was in Poseidon's battle, when Shun try to destroy the second pillar of the submarin empir. Why:Shun is my favourite knigth of all because of his chain ,and, espescially, his ideas(to don't like to fight or to kill anyone). Other Comments:Eo is my favourite Poseidon 's general because of his six animals. |

Name:Poseidon Time of Answering:Sun, 15 Nov 1998 11:59:51 -0800 (PST) Gender:male alien from Argentina/Buenos Aires Characters in the Scene:Ikki, Kanon, Sea Dragon, Saga ML Member:no Favorite Scene:In Poseidon's saga. Ikki is fighting Kanon, I don't remember the exact timing of events (I haven't seen S-S for a long time now), but it is a memoir that Ikki awakes in Kanon, about the time when he was imprisoned by Saga it ends with a great imaginary scene of Sea Dragon vs. Gemini, where Kanon is swallowed by the sea and Saga says it is Poseidon's revenge. Episode:It was around the last episodes (Poseidon chapter) about 110-114, while all the bronze saints fight Poseidon. Why:Because I Really like the Saga-Kanon duality Other Comments:"In 30 days, humanity will be destroyed by rains, and I shall dominate the world..." |

Name:Edgardo Amado Time of Answering:Mon, 23 Nov 1998 07:27:18 -0800 (PST) Gender:male from NY, USA Characters in the Scene:Hyoga, Camus, Crystal ML Member:no Favorite Scene:When Camus fight Hyoga, we can really appriciate what Saint Seiya means. Hyoga Knew that many people were counting on him and he also remenber all the advices that Crystal (his mentor) gave him, and the fact that Shun almost die trying to save him. Episode:It was on the first season. I personally taped it. Why:Hyoga lost his first battle with Camus, but Camus as mentor of Crital tried to teach him what the seveth sense was all about. hyoga was blind with the love of his mother wich insted of helping him as a motibation, it was interupting with his concentration. Hyoga learns that Camus was always true to him to late, they both die giving thanks to each other, and Camus was surprise that Hyoga made the air even colder than him at the last minute. Other Comments:the first time I saw Saint Seiya was in my native country: PERU. There the name for the series was LOS CABALLEROS DEL ZODIACO, from the first episode I was surprise. Well, I will soon get a computer and then we can talk all day about Saint Seiya thanks to the internet. My name is Edgardo Amado. |

ML Member:yes Favorite Scene:The moment when the bronze saints are leaving Hilda's palace after victory, as the ice continues to crumble and great melancholic music plays in the background. Episode:Finnal chapter of Asgard. The ring has just been cut, and Hilda has taken up Odin's sword. Why:For the emotion in it. You really get the impression of a wearied army marching home, unsure of whether it has won or not, and saddened by the many deaths. |

USA ML Member:yes Favorite Scene:In the anime,The last three Temples. Shiryu using the forbidden move and Shunrei crying, it was all so sad. Then it continues, the fight with Camus and Hyoga is the most beautiful episode of Saint Seiya if not Anime in general. Shun finally fights for real with Aphrodite and it's great. The end is also very sad. In the manga, when Mu finally fights in the Hades Chapter. And when Roshi(Dohko) has the dicussion with Shiryu about been allowed to fight in the Hades War. Did I ever tell you my fav characters, are Mu, Shiryu and Dohko? Episode:Anime:Episodes 65-70/Manga:Hades Chapter, Vol 19-21 Why:Because, there is no holding back. They are fighting at full 100 percent. I hate it when they give false impressions of their power. And also it is very moving and touching. Other Comments:Just love them... |
