Hooray for Halloween! And who's better to grace my blog's Halloween layout than Sakura, the girl with the thousand outfits? Once I saw this pic, I knew it was meant to be used with my blog. So there we go, mangs. Happy Halloween!

Wow, it's my third entry today. I don't think I've ever written this many in a single day. I hope I can still write once school starts. *chokes at the sight of the dreaded word* School is eeeeeeevil! Sure, I'm excited about seeing my friends again, and even some teachers...but no more than that! I don't want homework, I don't want tests, I don't want finals! No finals, please! Pleeeease! *collapses at the feet of the principal* No finals!

Argh. Argh argh. Argh argh argh. I'm desperately trying to make a good layout for the Regent Drama Club, but nothing's working! *thwaps her brain* Of course, reading all those blogs and laughing my head off doesn't help any...I shouldn't have volunteered to make the damn thing!

Aie, I have a popcorn shell stuck in my throat...it huuuuuurts! *wails* Water...need water!

Where is everyone, I wonder? No one is on ICQ, and no one is on AIM...GUYS! Come on! Go online once in a while, will ya?

Listening to: Help! -- the Beatles

Oy, only four more days until school resumes, and I haven't even started any of my homework. I have French, chemistry, a loooooong list of questions to answer for WiTT, a shitload of problems to solve for calc, a scene to memorize for Theater, and a painting to finish for art. Thankfully nothing for history. *bows to Ms. Bernstein* And finals are in 11 days! Argh! *topples over*

I've been getting all this junk mail recently. It sucks. My mailbox is stuffed. I need to get my own domain name with paid webhosting. Then, hopefully, the junk mail overflow will stop...

Yip! I finally memorized my piano piece that I'm supposed to perform on the 20th! I usually memorized them the day before the recital, but this time I'm two weeks ahead of my normal schedule. So bwah!

Happy New Year, everyone, once again! Wow, it feels weird to be writing "02" now...*silly giggle*

My friends and family say that supposedly whatever you do around midnight on New Year's, you'll be doing for the rest of the year. Not good, mangs, not good. Why, you may ask? Well...it's kinda embarrassing to say this, but I cried at that time. I was too overwhelmed by the fact that New Year's was already here *gasp*. It really saddens me, to be waiting for this day since the beginning of the school year, and then realizing that it's here, and that it will be gone in several hours. A year seems like a long time, but it really flies by so fast...I feel like last New Year was only several months ago. Life goes by so quickly, mangs.

Oh gosh. *fans herself* I'm being very pessimistic about the whole New Year thing. But honestly, time does fly at the speed of...wait, that doesn't make any sense. And whatever I do to keep myself busy and enjoy life just makes me realize how short life is! Isn't that kinda pathetic? It's especially bad during school plays, when I'm all hyped up about the performances, and the cast parties, and the fame and glory...and then the two show weeks are gone forever! I sometimes feel like doing nothing and getting very bored -- at least then I will feel that time is going by vveerryy sslloowwllyy.

Yes, I'm a pessimist. So sue me.

Wait, no, scratch that. I'm an optimist sometimes. When I'm optimistic, it's a total disaster, though. I look and sound like I had waaay too much sugar. *sigh* I need to eat more sugar now. NOW!!!

Listening to: Reflection -- Megumi Hayashibara

Wow, the 31 of December of the year 2001. This is my last entry with that cute little "01" on the end of the date. Tomorrow it's gonna be replaced by an equally cute little "02", but I'm pretty sure that I'll keep on writing "01" anyway...I'm really bad at things like that.

Now listen to this, mangs: there are 36 presents under mah Christmas tree. We put them out this afternoon, and all of us went @_O "Wow, that's a lot of presents!" Two thirds of them or so came from my mom, though. She really has a knack for buying a lot of gifts, but this time she has outdone herself. 36 freakin' presents alltogether! Yikes, yikes, yikes! An awful lot of unwrapping to do later on in the evening!

I'm proud of myself. Very proud. I made pesto rolls today. It looks like they came out nicely, too. That's a big accomplishment for me, standing in the kitchen for half an hour.

I like chopping olives and tomatoes. Especially with a large Japanese knife. It's fuuuuuuun! *bounces*

Well, it's time for this girl to go set the table. Happy New Year, everyone! *blows kisses, then disappears in a cloud of confetti*

The moon
Is a glowing tortilla in the sky.
An absolute tortilla, the moon.

There's my poetry skill for ya. Nice, eh? The moon was so nice and bright tonight, and it looked like it wasn't even a part of the sky. It looked like a tortilla, mangs! Hehe.

Angie has successfully completed her holiday shopping today. Isn't she a bit late, you might ask? Well, my family celebrates New Year rather than Christmas. It's very convenient, actually, since after Christmas everything goes on sale, and we get the gift wrap and ornaments for next to nothing. It's very nice...Yeah. I bought a planner/calendar for my mom (it's a tradition to give her that kind of calendar), and while searching for it, I came across a calendar featuring the crocodile hunter (from the popular TV show by the same name). I immediately bought it for my dad...it was just so amusing! Then, I raided a bunch of stores and bought a shitload of gift wrap, gift boxes, and little cutesy bows. So cheap, mangs! And, finally, I bought a coffee warmer for my dad (he's always late for breakfast, so he NEEDS it), a bath set and a cute sunflower shirt for my mom, and a CHEAP shirt for mahself ($1.00 -- how could I resist?). Oh yeah, my dad and I also bought a tabletop frying pan thingie. It's very nice. Oh yeah, and a little motor operated brush thingie with numerous attachments (very groovy). And...a wooden statue of an indian goddess. My mom is crazy about those things. XD I also know that dad bought a ring for my mom, and that my mom bought fishing boots for my dad. Oh, and my mom and I bought Santa hats for all of us. They were so cute and fuzzy, we couldn't resist buying them. AND I bought a Santa tie for my dad. Gifts are so much fun. I wonder what mah parents are gonna give me. I'll find out tomorrow night...*bounces*

I like gift wrap! I like wrapping gifts and unwrapping them. Even when there's a shitload of gifts to wrap, like there was today. My dad positively can't wrap gifts, so I had to wrap everything...But I don't mind. It's all fun and easy for me.

Hmm. It's probably obvious by now, but I'm back from my trip to Door County. It was very interesting, I must say. Curious? Read my account of the most exciting events. Yessh...quite an unusual trip.

Damn! I forgot to buy CD cases! Argh. Stupid Angie. Irresponsible Angie.

Angie needs to make chocolate fudge for tomorrow...But she doesn't want to. Angie doesn't like the kitchen. The kitchen is her enemy.
