He is the second warrior sent by Zagato to stop the Magic Knights from obtaining Umi's mashin, Selece.
According to Ascott, he befriends with the monsters and they are really kind, although their appearance suggest otherwise. However, the Cephironians are scared of him and his friends and they treat him as a pest. Then Zagato invites Ascott to the palace and promises him that he and his monster friends can stay as long as he wants, in exchange of Ascott's service and loyalty toward Zagato.
Even though Ascott might appear to be cynical, he is actually quite shy and cares a lot about others.
In Magic Knight Rayearth 2, he returns in adolescent form and on the side of the Magic Knights.
