He is the captain of the guards that protects Princess Emeraude from monsters or intruders and Lafarga takes his job seriously. However, when Princess Emeraude is missing, Zagato brainwashes Lafarga and the Dal serves him mindlessly and without any conscience.
Lafarga is the forth and the last warrior sent by Zagato to stop Hikaru from obtaining her mashin, Rayearth. Although he attacks her aggresively, Hikaru doesn't give up and strikes back. He stops attacking the Magic Knights when he touches Hikaru's Escudo sword, which turns into a fire as a defence mechanism, and the fire destroys the brainwashing spell and making him sane again.
In MKR 2, Lafarga returns and is on the side of the Magic Knights.
