STEP 5) Review it!

MAIN POINTS:

• Use -san with names (lesson 2-2)
• The most useful vocab are:
  こんにちは : konnichi wa (Hello)
  お元気ですか？ : o genki desu ka (How are you?)
  私も : watashi mo (me too)
  どこ から 来ました か？ : doko kara kimashita ka? (Where did you come from)
  また ね。: mata ne. (see you again/ see you later)
• Japanese NEED verbal cues that show the listeners interest in the speaker. sou desu ka (really) is one of them.
• Remember, questions can be formed from a statement simply by adding a ka to the end of the sentence.
• Lastly about question sentences, I use the ? mark in the above examples, however in 'real' Japanese ? marks aren't used. It is perfectly ok to write a question sentence and end it with a period.
