Gilton Prescott (1911-1998)
It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I
bring you this news. Gilton Maynard Prescott passed away the morning
of Thursday, May 7, 1998. He went quietly in his sleep, and was found
by the other members of the Assembly later that evening. When he
was 10 hours late for a meeting, they were concerned and tried to call
him. No one answered, so they went to his apartment to find the 87
year old Frockus endorser lying peacefully in bed.
It would be futile to attempt to express
what Gilton meant to Frockus. Furthermore, it is not necessary, because
you see what he has done for Frockus every day of your life. The
Frocktology Institute in downtown Toronto, the famed Torkut Gallery in
Milan, the infargoration of the Sarmox points in your very own home.
I ask that we remember Gilton whenever we enjoy any facet of Frockus that
he worked so hard to provide us with.
On a more business-oriented note, now
that he's dead, we need another member of the Assembly! It can't
very well be the Assembly Of 5 now, can it? An election was held,
and William Parnell was found to be the perfect addition to the Assembly.
Frockus lovers, I give you the New Assembly Of
6.
